In this video guide i will show you step by step how to pair a 2-way LCD pager (7345V or 7341V) remote control with 3305V or R350 Viper car alarm system.

You saved me a trip to the audio place that installed my alarm. Didn’t realize I must have hit the program button. I set it back to the #1 setting. All good now. It was moved to 4

I was trying to program a 479V remote to my 791XV system and was having difficulty until I found this video. Thanks a lot!
The IMPORTANT thing to note is that on the 8th press of the Valet button, DONT release it! Let the LED flash 7 times - then hit LOCK on the remote - THEN release the Valet button!

@@redgieburks2070 I found someone on ebay a sound system store selling a refurbished alarm system like mines so I brought the whole unit again for cheap due to my control module going bad on my system. Killed 2 birds with 1 stone.
Thank you for this video. I have the 350 security and noticed instead of pressing 7 times to get the 7 blinks, i had to press it 8 times in order to get the 7 blinks. Tried it few times to confirm it but it works now. Thank again.

I have a viper model alarm r350
my old remote was so old the buttons didn’t press and work. it was a 7341 v/p/x got a 7345v for the pager function. put key to on, press valet button 8 taps and held on 8, press and hold lock button on remote, some beeps let go of valet button and turn key to off. worked! thanks
Thanks for info., very helpful. That same procedure worked on my Clifford 3305X and Matrix1 for the 2-Way and the 1-Way remotes with one caveat; I had to press valet button 8 times to get the 7 blinks on the LED before pressing the lock button on remotes..

You need
- Key
- Remote Entry Fog
- Access to the Transmitter Control Button on the overhead control centre.
To Program the Fob
- Open the driver door
(NB: I had my cabin light switched off to avoid accidentally leaving it on. BUT ... the only way the alarm knows if the door is open is by the interior light coming on. So, you need to have the interior light set to 'on' when the door opens. Otherwise the programming does not work.)
- Turn the key n the ignition to the 'One' position
- Press the overhead transmitter control button 7 times THEN PRESS AND HOLD ON THE 8th PRESS
(At this point the alarm will chirp)
- Whilst still pressing the transmitter button press the REMOTE KEY FOB LOCK BUTTON
(At this point the alarm will sound, briefly)
- Turn the ignition key off
- Close door
- Test Key Fob programming has worked by arming and disarming the vehicle with the fob.
I will try this tomorrow. My lcd transmitter died and it had been warning me but now won’t control the alarm. Just the 1 way works. Thanks !
How do I reprogram my trunk back to the AUX button? It was there but now the aux button doesn't do anything on any of my fobs.
Mine doesn't acknowledge the 8 buttons it just keeps blinking with the blue armed light. I can lock and unlock my door but it wont even try to start

So with the door open you turn the ignition on, press the ballet bottom 7 times and hold it until you hear a beep? I have a viper 5900, I wonder if it works the same.

Recently bought a car with this system, previous owner said that it stopped locking and unlocking doors. Still works but I have to lock the doors manually and then I can arm the alarm. Any suggestions please, maybe I need to reprogram?

I have the same remote system, and the led light keeps blinking on and off while it's locked, does this mean it's armed? And will this drain the battery constantly blinking?

On my system the little bar at the bottom of the remote has 5 black bars halfway in it. Is that a cause for concern?
I have a question. I can remotely start my car , I can lock and unlock my car no problems. But when I lock my car my remote beeps but sometimes my horn does sound. I've check all my fuses and there's power going to my horn. Also when I don't get the horn sound when I lock or unlock my car my horn itself does work. Any clues why this happens..
I bought the 7345v to replace the one I have now. I pressed the valet 7x's. It did not beep 7 times but the light blinked 7 times. then I pressed the top left. Nothing happened except the bottom horizontal bar went to full. No beep. Nothing, Took finger off valet button and remote beeped 3 times. I am guessing that is an error beep. Not sure why it's not working. I seem to be doing exactly like the video. Do I have to unpair the old one? My guess is no? There can be more than one paired at a time? Thnx

i tried it and it does not arm or disarm but when i use the old remote the arm and disarm symbol does change on the new remote
hey tom I'm trying to reprogram my remote I had the old version and had a guy program it fir ne and one day it stopped working I'm doing the procedure but it won't sync I push it 7 times and hold and the alarm needs and when I push lock button on the remote it doesn't work what am I doing wrong.
Why remote start isn't working?
I have remote start in my truck, used to work with the factory system, but now isn't. I reprogrammed the remote multiple times and still not working. Alarm goes off when I hit the button.
I want to adjust my sensitivity of the alarm... if I hit the vehicle the alarm does not trigger
I have a python remote start alarm system and have the python transmitter 479 vpx the instructions that came with it say channel 1 for remote start. Question is what channel should I go with? 7 or 1? And what button on transmitter should I press when pairing?
Push it 8 times for 7 blinks, press and hold the lock button, then press the valets 8 times again then release the lock button and that is how it basically worked for me. Door locks as well
i have 3 squiggles lines on my remote what are they what do they mean? its by or near my tire on the driver side?
You stated the button is right hear and the LED is right here , what is the first button you are referring too ?

I have a viper 3305 remote and viper alarm. My battery was dead for a few weeks and I just fixed it. My alarm is stuck on so when I open the door the alarm goes off and the remote isn’t doing anything but beeping 3 times then nothing. It’s on #1 so that’s not it. Any suggestions on how to turn it off so I can use my car? Putting the key in the ignition doesn’t do it. That won’t stop it from going off.

So I found a brain for a viper 3105v. Is there a way to pair it without the original key fob? When I plug it in, II can hear the clicking from the relay clicking the alarm on and off in the alarm brain.

Hey Tom....On my 7345V remote, there is a very small number 2 on the display screen right in front of the car image. I saw a number 1 on your remote. What exactly is that number 2 for? I think I might have missed it up. Thanks Man!
My nephew lost my remote to my viper car alarm system. It looks exactly like the old remote that you have. The model # is 3X05. I'm trying to figure out if the new one you bought is also compatible with model 3X05.

Can you add a second 7345v or adding a second will erase the first.
My key faub won't receive right anymore it's on 5 when it should be on 2 I think. But I can't get it to change. So I can't shut my alarm off when it goes off.

Have anyone of you guys had problems with these kind of 2 way remotes??? when the battery is running out, if you dont replace it, the remote die, and it doesnt turn on again, this has happened to me in two occasions with the 3305v model. Does anyone know a solution please???
