  • Here's the long awaited tour to my wagon. I'll have a few videos coming such as a test drive, a little bit about me, and a video from the third row.

    Nice to see an old car loved and cared for. I have a '92 Crown Vic with 20k miles and still smells new, it doesn't have some of the fancier features as you have on the Roadmaster, but like big cars cars from that era, it has just enough tech for safety and convenience such as airbags, ABS and traction control, and not too much as to be a nightmare to repair.
    My car was driven less than 1,000 miles a year and I've seen Crown Vics with well over 500k miles, so logically my car should last 500 years!

      Thanks! Yeah I just did the plugs yesterday, I love driving it! And that's awesome you have such a low mileage CV. Haha, sounds like fun. '92 was a good year for the CV style wise, I love the grill less look.

      +Harrison S I love big cars from that era too, I love the luxury of having a large car that has a retro look to it, as well as some modern safety features like you mentioned. L

      Is this your daily driver? I was wondering about the rust spots - we rarely see it on top of the door frame here in Canada; we get a lot of road salt so rust is usually from underneath. My CV is garaged in the winter to avoid rust.
      I think it's well worth the extra gas money to drive these old beasts considering they practically last forever if they're well taken care of. Looking forward to more of your videos on the car - I might do one on mine too!

    • @harysuper
      @harysuper  Před 8 lety +1

      You should!!! But yeah it's my daily. I had some rust around the front window and up around the sunroof but I got all that fixed, it has some quarter rust and some light surface rust on the frame but other than that it's pretty clean underneath and around the car. It was originally owned by Pacific Grove, a city in NorCal so that probably explains the rust.

    Note the silence after that solid door shuts. That car is properly built.

    Yeah man, Keep the Updates flyin'. -If you have the time to film etc, it will be great to see more of you driving her. It all feels very smooth and loungey yet she shifts alright. So I subscribed cos I hope to see more, good luck and happy motoring !!!

    IF you take the bumper off and use a heat gun and some sot of flat metal bar to "shape it" You can probably work some of the waves out of the front bumper.

  • @frequencyfluxfandango8504

    ...An even more lovely car now then Harrison ? I thought 'God. that engine's LOUD' isn't it ? -(it was an aeroplane flying over !) I would love to own one of these, anyway.
    The ONE TAKE went very well I thought, Yes they really treated you to some luxuries !

      MungoidHen they are great cars! If you can find one in decent shape I'd get it. There are some things that would most likely need replacing of course. I've had to replace several things.

    Nice car. I would love to have one like this, with this color! Unfortunately, here in Brazil, we only can buy imported used cars with 30 or more years. But only I know, what's the price of one car like you? Thanks.

  • @tytotheler92
    @tytotheler92 Před 8 lety +1

    Also, I can get you a stereo out of an A body Buick. They're somewhat easy to find.

      Thanks! I'm planning on keeping haha for now. And yeah, CZcams deleted it for some reason, my app is glitchy, also I'll HUY later about the radio when I get the chance and am back in town.

    Hi I am 15 years old I recently bought a 1992 roadmaster estate with 201000 miles on the 5.7 Lo5 for $500 but it seems one of my connecting rods will soon attempt to be the first automotive part on the moon. What kind of motor will bolt up to the 4l60 without any adapters or big problems and doesn't cost a lot

    • @harysuper
      @harysuper  Před 7 lety

      Dylan Lockman nice man. I'm sure any motor used on the BBody would work... I'd put in another L05 or LT1. Check the GMlongroofforum they might have an answer. I'm not completely sure however. I bought mine when I was 15!

    • @dylanlockman9341
      @dylanlockman9341 Před 7 lety

      Harrison S thank you are there any donor cars you know of that I can get a lt1?

    • @harysuper
      @harysuper  Před 7 lety +1

      Any 94-96 roadmaster sedan or wagon. The 94-96 option code B4U and most 9C1s have the LT1. All Caprice wagons 94-96 had them as well. The 94-96 Fleetwood had it too. All Bbody cars had the LT1 depending on the year and model, so it shouldn't be too hard to find, I can't think of any specific donor cars, I'd check craigslist!

    • @dylanlockman9341
      @dylanlockman9341 Před 7 lety

      Harrison S yea that's what I'm doing I spent all my money buying the wagon I'll have to save up again which is hard since I don't have a job

    • @harysuper
      @harysuper  Před 7 lety

      I had that same problem for a while too. There's some cheap connecting rods I think online if you search it.Other than that does it run ok?

  • @pupupipichorrorelief4909

    do you still have this car?my father just bought one from the og owner with 109kmiles in nice condition in and out the only problem it has is the climate control has issues and one passenger window motor was bad ,the motor we already changed it so it works now just needs climate control attention.he paid 1,350 for it not kidding.

    • @harysuper
      @harysuper  Před 6 lety

      That's actually pretty good! And no I don't have the 93 anymore. I have a 96 though which is the same color too. Pretty cool he found one with lower miles.
