- Hello and welcome to Saabkyle04! CZcams's largest collection of automotive variety! In today's video, we will take an up close and personal in depth look at the 1994 Buick Roadmaster Estate Wagon. During this presentation, we will take a 1st person look at what the vehicle is all about beginning with the start up, performance data, fuel economy, the occasional track data, and build quality. Also, I will teach you how to use most of the interior and exterior features in a detailed fashion, that before, you could only get from going to a dealership yourself! Throughout the video, I will highlight key styling and unique differences about the vehicle, any available options, and of course it would not be an enthusiast car video without the good ole engine portion with rev and exhaust note with interior and exterior perspectives. A thorough tour/review of this car designed to give others a greater overall appreciation of the vehicle.

I know you guys will think this is werid but this one of my dream cars
Its a dream car for everyone!
No not really, 90% of ppl here share the same dream
CHEVY & BUICK they are hard to find, that’s why I like it. It gives me a challenge
No not weird
Jordan Akin ditto
the ultimate road trip car.
I would drive this car with no questions asked...Pretty nice.
Me too :)
Same. It’s a nose wagon. I really like the wheels.
Im begging my mom to let me buy one for my second car (yes im spoiled)
some had the vette engine
MrBrandon330 it’s aged poorly but hey, who the hell cares
I hate how every car is downsized now. these cars along with the mid 90's town car were the last great big body cars.
I agree with you dude it's a shame in these days the cars doesn't have a good design
big booty cars
This was an 8 seater car. I miss my Roadmaster wagon. I loved the full-size cars. Up until 2004 Ford made the Crown Vics and Mercury Grand Marquis. 96' GM killed their REAL full-size cars. The DTS/DHS/DeVille/Fleetwood was FWD.... A bloody nightmar to do pulley work (including water pump). You need ratchet wrenches. Stupid...
Scrotum Monster Vics and town cars went to 2011
I agree too, this is why I like my 2006 Town Car Signature, I've had for 4 years which plan to hold onto car for a while to be payment free.
Massive car, looks like a fantastic highway cruiser.
Thats why its called the Roadmaster
ChubbyCheeks0792 I will tell you, it’s extremely comfortable for the age of the car

Estates (or wagons as you Americans call them) are so much cooler than SUV's. I'm sure they'll become trendy once more in the US, as they never went out of fashion in the rest of the world.
Agreed, Estates are WAY cooler. SUV's are just so bland.
+Paul Hojda I think Wagons are becoming less and less "in" here in the US. SUVs are taking over the market, such as the Honda CRV, Ford Escape, etc.
SUVs, and real SUV's(like yukons)are pretty fucking cool. Crossovers are just aweful. But man do i love station wagons. I would have no problems if the market when from crossovers to wagons tomorrow. crossovers are hard to see out of, smaller than station wagons, handle bad.
i love my bimmer wagon
Yeah, The SUV took over in the early 90s. The days of the big American wagon are no more, but I wish we could get some Body on frame, RWD, v8 powered wagons for today's market. This car and the Town Car/Grand Marquis/Ford Crown Vic were the last hurrah for traditional, full size American cars.
this is the ultimate road trip car.
I laughed so freaking hard when I saw that the seats were backwards. Imagine tailgating one of these and someone looks at you LOL
yeah why the fuck did they make them backwards? i mean how shitty is that..
@MrDerOutsider.....How would you suggest entering & exiting the vehicle w/the seats situated any other way? This ain't no bus, bucko!
M21L35 well i guess it would work fine if you fold down the back seats...
My buddy use to have a 69 buick skylark sport wagon that had the rear facing seats we used to leave the rear window open and have paintball shootouts with my brother in his jeep cj7
@@MrDerOutsider For kids to not get bored while traveling. Also getting in facing forward would be way too difficult. I had a box chevy (80's Caprice) wagon and a few Roadmasters. I find it more odd if the furthest rear seats are facing forward. LoL.
The station wagons such as this Roadmaster are of my favorite cars in existence. It's a shame you dont see these with the road trim anymore. Especially the 80's ones.
I love these cars to death.
I enjoyed those cars as well. Most comfortable car I've ever ridden in
I AGREE this car especially people don't understand why station wagons are my favorite cars they are rare 80's and 90's wagons they are so nostalgic and beautiful cars. It blows that they did away with the 5 seater station wagon that was due to the fact that the department of transportation deemed them unsafe. The reason is there were no airbags in the fifth seat nonetheless these are a beauty and I have only seen less than a handle full of them in person in my life. Especially with the road trim!
Truly a work of art, love to own one of these.
Mid-90s B-bodies are a guilty pleasure of mine
I just wanna step in and take a seat in those huge leather seats!
I love how This guy never criticizes the cars he reviews
I know it sounds weird but I really like this car and the reason I do is because it is so roomy and huge and has the wood paneling on the side.
I want one of these wagons or the sedans they just look so comfy
A couch on wheels!
just bought one today. corvette motor. 1200 bucks with 150k miles
I am replying 7 months after your purchase. How is it running? I want one!
Idk how you did it but that is a steal and a half! Good work!
Great deal.
@@paulh7589 these cars are very reliable but as with any vihicle how reliable depends on how well they are taken care of. But for sure minimal repairs as long as you keep up on oil changes and things like that.
LT1, yes. But a proper Corvette engine was 300+hp which was an LS1. The LT1 in the Roadmaster only has 260hp. It's detuned. I had one. I also had a 1996 Corvette Gran Sport style. Dark Blue with white stripe. LS1. Beautiful cars. I Love GM 👍
im a 16yr old guy and i like that car. weird...
I'm 17 and I love wagons
Naw.
I've liked big cars for a while.
Not at all man! I'm 22 and I love station wagons with a passion!
me too
Not weird, you got class!
I see one of these in my school parking lot when I leave every day! Its so massive that it sticks out into the spaces around it and its ass hangs out in the lane! These cars are fucking mammoth!
You really schedule these uploads well... I recently took an interest in these old wagons, and immediately you make a video about them. I saw an ad for the new Lexus GS yesterday, thought hmm, that's a cool car, I'd like to know more about it.. and you made a video. Keep up the great work!
I'm glad a young guy like Kyle can appreciate an old school car like this! I owned a 1991 Caprice wagon similar to this and it got lots of looks wherever I went. It was great for vacations because I could take all the stuff I wanted that I wouldn't have room for in a smaller car. I put studded snow tires on it and this beast just plowed through heavy snows without any problems. Never once got stuck! This is a classic for sure!
Awesome car. This is a prime example of how "they just don't make 'em like that anymore." Definitely a classic American icon indeed. Thanks for the great video!
Man, I really wish I could find such a classic wagon in Impressive Condition!! I'd be set 😫
look a little further, these beast dont die easily and they can be restomodded cheap, im sure some granma will sell you one at a good price
These cars are fabulous. We don't have anything like this here in Europe (maybe a large Volvo estate is close but not the same) and I suppose that's what helps make it even more appealing: it's a huge car for huge roads in a huge country. This would be brilliant to drive across the US in.
THAT 3RD ROW SEAT IS BEAST I NEED ONE OF THESE CARS!
Its been 9 years you ever get one lol
@@xaviorpackett4359 nah but i have 1988 Cadillac Fleetwood
I have the roadmaster sedan and it makes me smile every time i drive it
I love the looks of the 90s model years for these GM wagons, but I wish the back window rolled down like they did in earlier model years :(
Bought a 92 Roadmaster just a few weeks ago. Absolutely love it.
Just saw one of these on the German version of autotrader. I was immediately amazed by the pure look of it. I've never seen one before, since they weren't sold in Germany.
So I watched this video and almost freaked out when he unfolded the third seating row. I've never seen this kind of backward seats in a Station Wagon before. Is this common in American Station Wagons?
I want one right now! 😅
They definitely stand out when you see it. My friends say these are weird cars, but I love them.
am I crazy for wanting one of those so bad over any modern piece of garbage?
No, this is way better than modern vehicles, I have to say.
Hell No! that is one bitchin car!
What? No rust? no scratches? everything is where it should be and curves in all the right places? And most importantly those chrome rims. I'm drooling.
It got vinyl woodpanel, enough said
i just bought one today
I haven’t aways been a station wagon fan but I do love the Road Masters!!
I like these vehicles more! Terrific job bro.
Excellent review. Thanks for doing this.
love the cutaways of different options. VERY nice touch. The wheels, different front fascia for sedan, etc.
I have a 96 roadmaster and I love it. Great cars.
My dad has this car, and I love it!!
Love Roadmasters...miss my grandma's!
Definitely one of my favourite wagons!
I’m in love with this car.
my grandpa had two of these cars. he loved em!
Love the Exhaust note!!!
Era desta que eu estava falando. Esta seria a minha segunda opção de carro de uso diário caso eu fosse americano. A qualidade de construção deste carro é absurda. Marcou uma época, sinto saudades de uma época que eu não tive o prazer de viver.
Thank You so much for the informative walk through ! It was great ! I just purchased one of these, same colour as Yours. I absolutely love mine, & I hope to get mine in as nice of condition that Yours is in. The mags are a very nice touch ! Well Done ! Kudos to You !
Somebody really loved that one. Really good shape for its age.
Hey Kyle, thanks for the video! I'm actually looking at trading my Blazer for a Roadmaster Wagon and this vid gives me an in depth look into it before i agree to trading. Its really clean like this.
love your videos man😍👍
I loved my 93 and I currently love my 96! Great cars, ironically they both were the same color as this one!
What mpg did you get in your 93 I'm about to buy one,
This is just classic awesomeness!
Had one. Was the smoothest ride ever
My dad and I travel all over selling his art at car shows, I finally convinced him to sell our '06 Caravan and buy our '94 Roadmaster Wagon. Ours looks near identical to this one ^ besides I lowered it. We love it, best car weve ever owned. Almost 200k on her now, and she can still do a wicked burnout! Comfiest car crusing 8 hours on the freeway.. I love having the windows down, and getting a smooth breeze. It's really weird. Most cars you get blasted in the face.
It's pretty cool to find a clean car like that.
Such a clean cqr. That enginw sounds like it just came off the GM lot 😉 Gorgeous 👍
This is a beautiful car.
Love this one!
Great Video Kyle
Wow very nice ! Thanks.
i love your videos thanks
Amazing what a set of wheels can do for a car! Can't go wrong with Torque Thrust wheels.
a lotta cool cars u got there bud)
Gotta love these older state wagons
Love the 3rd row seats
I love the old wagons for the third row seating
Fantastic car for travel 🤠
That is one *CLEAN* Roadmaster
Damn, should my LT1 Trans Am be spittin that much water out of the exhaust?
Thanks for posting such an indepth vide of this car! I just spotted one like it driving down the highway with a 4 Sale sign on it. I chased it down & got the phone number & will check it out. Came home & found your video & it really got me excited!! Hoping to make it mine!!!
Its been 9 years did you get it
My lifetime wish is that the Roadmaster sales never dropped, and Buick never discontinuing them, and having a 2019 model for both sedan & wagons today. If they never discontinued it, then I will buy one in the future.
Love these vehicles!
That is a Dream Machine
Amazing car, id love a car like this.
Beautiful ride
Surprised to see lack thereof praise for sabbkyle's excellent video. The most through I've see to day on CZcams -- and a very worthy subject. These classics make excellent work & pleasure vehicles, and were very reliable/durable. The classic American station wagon was far more versatile than any SUV... even smaller crossovers. The perfectly balanced V8 / aerodynamic body struck a harmonious balance ... that really did deliver the rated 25mpg HWY (I had one). Not a fanboy of GM by any means, bu
I have been wanting a wagon and this is perfect now just have to convince the wife.
Gotta love that starter, windup.
Oh, one of a kind!
The 1994-96 LT1 models are the ones to have!
Amazing car... I would really want it! :D
love this car
A fantastic road car with that LT1
I owned one for a few months.
Some notes: it's 15 city, 25 highway EPA estimated mileage, 20 gallon tank (not 23).
Very nice clean example. I love my current '91 Roadmaster Wagon, my first one was fraught with problems.
Now this is a TRUE WAGON!!! Love how you could open the rear a couple of ways :D :-bd
Thats a badass muscle wagon
Our has 200k miles now, running 235/75/15's and hauling 1,500lbs of stuff bombing 75-85mph on the highway we actually averaged 26mpg! Usually 28mpg when unloaded and driving easy at 65-70mph.
Nicee... i would love to get this type of buick
Thanks again. Think you've yet again help me on my decision on my next car. After driving my Lexus IS300 I want something semi fun to drive put with good storage. I feel these vehicles are much better handling than a SUV or pickup truck without compromising owning a full size, full on American car. Going to try and find a limited with grand touring package in black
i somehow love this old car. its clever with all the space using stuff.
Sweet ride...
this car is pretty dope!
what a great vehicle
what a cool car! they sure don't make them like they used to
That car looks like new! 😊
I didn't know that boats were still made of wood.
Love the wheels
Amazing car for 1994 :D
I grew up in a Mercury Colony Park wagon - great for when we went to the drive in movies. Only differences were the window rolled down into the tailgate door and the rear seats faced each other.
Until last year, my family had a 1978 Buick Estate Wagon. That car is so long.
Very nice car
Nice!
very cool car
I'm a drummer, so I'll take it...😄 excellent for my gigs
I want this !
I watch this video once a year. Still dreaming of grabbing one.
Gorgeous
