- Check out another new arrival in the shop, the Lenovo Legion 7 16ARHA7. This gaming laptop is packed with the AMD Ryzen 7 6800H processor, 16GB of memory, and a 1TB SSD. To top things off it has the Radeon RX 6700M dedicated graphics card. There's a lot to like on this unit, but stick around to the end where I share 3 likes and 3 dislikes on the Legion 7 series and on this specific 82UH0000US configuration.

Three things I like about this laptop:
1. Aesthetics and build materials.
2. Can attach an external monitor via the USB-4 port without using the dedicated GPU.
3. Great battery life (99Whr battery).
Three things I don't like about this laptop:
1. Palm rejection isn't that good.
2. Even the dimmest backlight setting is still very bright.
3. The num-pad (that's just me, I don't like number pads on laptops).
You can change the colors of all the RGB lighting through the Lenovo spectrum app. I'm really happy with the trackpad on this laptop. It works well and I can do all the gestures I need without any problem. It's not too small for me, and I think it's a good size for most people. Apple's trackpad may be bigger and better, but this one is still good and I don't have any complaints. I've used MacBooks and 15" Dell XPS before, and I don't think a bigger trackpad is necessary. Besides, I usually use a mouse when I'm working/gaming on this laptop, so the trackpad is not that important anyway.
The speakers are downward firing. So not the small round vents at the top of the keyboard.
so it only has 2 normal usb ports not type-c?
No, rather it has 1x USB-C @ 6:45 and 1x USB-C @ 8:22 and 2x more USB-C @ 11:15
How is the battery on normal use?
Actually really good on battery. I think that's one of the selling points. We did not test full to empty in our shop, but I have heard 7-9 hrs is typical battery life for regular use. Heavy gaming of course would deplete it faster.
On Windows, if you put it in "quiet" mode, you can get 10 hours of "normal" use (i.e. browsing, watching a some CZcams, Slack calls, no backlighting, screen brightness at 20%). The battery is a whopping 99Whr!
Is it good for content creation too? I've Heard AMD GPUs are much inferior in content creation.
According to other reviews, the benchtesting is right between a 3050 and 3070.
