Being a teenager in the 90s, I can confirm, we had jeans with pockets big enough to fit a a full size game console, a game boy, 2 beers you stole from the fridge, a pocket knife and spare shoes to wear while in your friends house and a clean shirt.
I can confirm. We used my brother's pants to sneak a ton of shit into the movie theatre so we didn't have to pay for food and drinks. Who needs a girl's purse when you have your bro's pants.
and in the other back pocket, we had our wallet, 3ft of chain, 2 more beers, both controllers and all the cables for the console. For real though, I wore JNCOs (not the crazy huge ones) and I miss those jeans so much

Lol heck yeah. Had like 4 pairs of jnco jeans. Could throw a 2 liter of Surge or Jolt in each pocket, my n64 in the front pocket and the controls and the games in the other pocket. And they were also durable as all heck. Most jeans tear when you crash on pavement while rollerblading, those suckers tore up the concrete instead.😂 lol if I remember the leg width on the ones I had were 28 and 30 inches. 2 people could have worn the legs as dresses.
@@Tanx33 lol, I actually witnessed 2 girls stand in each leg of one pair of Jnco's and were able to walk around, I dont ever remember a pair developing a rip or tear the cuffs got a little frayed but that's it. They need to bring surge and jolt back. Goddammit I miss the 90s

Not too far in to the long drive, the car momentum began to lull her to sleep. She was sitting up like the adult dog in the video, her eyes slowly closing then instantly popping open, confused as her puppy mind couldn't comprehend _why_ she was falling asleep, even while sitting up. A few times she'd go to sleep and just fall over, comically hurling herself back up as though to refute she was sleeping.
After several such attempts to stay awake she finally succumbed to the sweet land of Nod.
From then on, while she loved car rides, she always surrendered to falling asleep quite quickly.

I've had nights where I've literally fought my own urge to sleep, even while standing up. It is a battle that all sentient beings fight, every now and then. Especially kids (puppies are kids).

Edit: couple of my friends had the JNCO's with the kangaroo wearing boxing gloves on the back pockets. Those back pockets were WIDE and DEEP. Wanna say the bottoms were 72" but that was so long ago and my USMC momma refused to buy me jeans that were that ridiculously huge.

21:00 I had those pants back then and stuffed like 2x2L. coke bottles in there, a full discman would also fit in the front pocket, but you would need to have a belt on otherwise it'd slide down. Also had to stuff the right leg pipe in my sock so it wouldn't get stuck in my bike chain. You could basically do grocery shopping in those and have your hands free at all times.
I could fit a ps2 in my front jeans pocket back in the day.

The eggs recreating the MOST FAMOUS scene from Alien just flew over their head.
They definitely had those pants in the 90s. They're called JNCO's. They were massive, like each leg was basically a giant skirt, and they had HUGE pockets. Definitely big enough to fit an SNES in. Ravers, hippies, and goths wore them. Big pants in general were popular then. We liked them so big that the opening at the bottom covered most or all of your shoe and dragged on the ground under your heel until it wore away from being stepped on. I know this because I was a teenager in the 90s and had big pants.

Those ultra-wide leg jeans were the most rarified, most patrician of 90's drip. As a goth kid that simply got older, I definitely still have a few pairs stashed somewhere that I wear a few times a year.
Unironically, they are an incredible garment - huge functional pockets, they fit literally anyone with a waist and kept your legs cool despite being made from denim. They went out of fashion as quickly and completely as they came in, but I'm confident they'll make a comeback one day.

Just saw this episode. The cat that sounded like it was saying "hello" mine does the same thing, especially after having some catnip. Another cat story...back when I was about six years old I went to stay with my grandparents who lived on a farm in Pennsylvania. One day my grandma got a huge cookie sheet out and told me to follow her out in the back yard. She had me stand behind a tree and then put the sheet down and loaded it with cat food and walked back beside me. Must have been 30 cats came out of the brush and had their dinner. Grandma did that every day.
