Not to be mean, but they're from here, Brazil, and it was stupid humans that took them to Aussieland without propper study of the implicatons behind the act. Here they are just a normal thing you see here and there and aren't dangerous. Since before I even started studying biology in college I never fully understood why they did what they did.

But I agree with what you are saying, Jeannie finding them cute in their natural habitat is great, it's not nessercary for her to feel sorrow for the northern Australians as the poster states. I'm Australian and I feel we have a bad habit of feeling superior and that people from around the world actually give a damn about what some aussie has to say. We are the absolute worst when it comes to gun laws, and the righteous exclamation of perceived Australian superiority, even though mass shootings have still happened and the laws did nothing to dent total murders and suicides, only change was the method.

Yeah, I knew it was a government act to try to use them as a bio weapon against one of the million native bio weapons your continent already has. And that was my point. We, scientists, and biologists exist specifically to counsel everyone else on how to approach whatever it is that each of us studies. And Every. Fucking. Time. People just do their thing without even remembering that we have this whole class of people who devoted their entire lives to knowledge, and knowledge is THE best tool one can have. I'm sure they paid someone to validate their great plan, or to come up with the most cost efficient way to pretend to solve the issue, but that was just so they could have their "it's science" card and get it over with.
As to the rest of the things you said... I don't really know much about the security and political situation of Australia, so I don't have a formed opinion on any of that yet. The closest got to the situation was cause I had an Australian friend who was very depressed after the loss of his dad and then vanished. It is not for me to tell you guys what to do with your country and the people in it, but please, humans, just cause you removed yourselves from the natural order of things, doesn't mean you can just take everything out of order like the parasites you are on this planet.

A little context to the police with the guy turning 18.
In Brazil (I think it's Brazil) you can't be tried for crimes until you're 18. This kid had been committing crimes his entire childhood and was well known to the local police, so minutes/hours before his 18th birthday the police turned up, gave him a cake, sang him happy birthday and then promptly arrested him for the crimes he'd committed when he came of age.
it was Brazil (they were singing happy birthday in portuguese) - also a similar thing happened to a guy that mugged me and got stopped by the police here, he had turned 18 that week and left juvie only to mug me and be arrested while doing it

You do get convicted( with due process) if you're under age, but bc you're unimputable when under age, the "crimes" you comit are considered infractions. Same actions, diferent punishments. And he can not be punish as an adult for crimes he comited when under age. BUT the minute he became 18, criminal act is consider a crime, not infractions anymore.

I’ve been with mxr for a little over 4 years now and I’ve seen them struggle with CZcams and all their other sad moments but it still amazes me on how good Jeannie and Henry are together

One of my neighbors is a metal head, he introduced a bunch of the kids in the apartment to pokemon, taught them the OG theme song and got them all a copy of Sword and Shield when it came out, along with a bunch of plushies. Him and his wife are amazing =D And sometimes they host battle tournaments, or just play the pokemon anime on a sheet with a projector outside when the weather is nice. Freaking love them. You'd never guess from the screamo he listens to on his way to work, LOL!

1:42 -- It's funny, but I felt that. I have a bone condition (thankfully generally not disabling or bad per se) that causes my bones to be relatively dense -- to the point where I've gotten comments about it when I've had x-rays (apparently regular bones aren't completely opaque on x-rays, but mine pretty much are -- annoyed my dentist because it makes it hard to see the roots of the teeth in the jaw). Doesn't bother me on land, but in the water I float about as well as a rock. I have to wear three life jackets to stop me from sinking to the bottom (barring treading water) and can't tread water unless I have swim fins on (without them, I can kick my feet as hard as I want, but I'm not pushing against enough water to generate enough counter-force).
I'd never thought of wearing a bunch of life jackets as a fun stunt before -- to me it was just a necessity.
(Oh, and before anyone just assumes I'm fat -- human fat is buoyant (lighter than water) -- it's why real breasts float and implants don't -- so being fat wouldn't make me sink in water, it'd actually help me float.)

The professional water finder was a real profession. More commonly called dowsing and, yeah, they could literally "feel" where water was underground. Land surveyors still do this today but they don't make it so much if a show. It's basically achievable because the water currents effect electromagnetic currents. As I wear a hat every where I go I prefer the magic trick flip the bird. To preform it you take off your hat show the person you're going to be flipping off that it's empty, with as much magician flair as you can muster, then take the hat reach into it like the old pulling a rabbit out of the hat trick and flip them the bird with a ta-da on the revile. Alternatively if you have a bandana or handkerchief of some type you show them both sides place over your hand palm up and pull it away reviling the bird, add best magic finger wiggles between placing and pulling for flair.
