In this video we will show you how to wash dirty car engine. There is always a risk to get the electronics wet or to damage something but in this video we will explain how to minimize that risk and how to make your engine clean and not covered with oil and dust deposits. We washed this dirty engine on Hyundai Sonata with 200,000 miles and it turned out pretty clean. We used Power to wash and degrease the engine. There are our product on the market but Purple Power is very good. Always wash your engine when it is cold.

I use a regular garden hose and a paint brush, not high pressure. Also blow off with compressed air.

Drives haft. Usually tie rod or ball joint but drive shaft do this too

I'm thinking that a nozzle with a wider spray would be better when cleaning the engine . So to reduce / prevent water penetration into places .
I have the same car. I do the foil method but I spray degreaser, scrub with a brush and then rinse it with a garden hose. Pressure wash is just to risky imo

what kind of some electronic cleaning bottle is he using to spray the cleaning stuff on the engine ? i cant find it and love to have it

I have cleaned my engine the same just no aluminum foil or wraping. When done cleaning i run the car np problem ever
the trick is this connectors are water resistant so... and the main point is do that with a heat engine, and the car running idle. so the evaporation is fast and efficient

I'm sorry, I detail cars all the time and have for 20 years. This is a really poor and inefficient way to clean an engine bay.
