Lex's editor is fired lmao
Wtf is a quantom
@@lxbeale It's a superposition of a quantum and an atom... I guess?
Why is this clown suddenly 80% of all my recommendations? What the hell is going on in CZcams algorithm land?
Very interesting, but obviously I'll wait until Tucker Carlson gives his opinion.
Pissing my pants, thanks for this one
Lmfao
So good Jim Bob. Hard to believe it's the same program. I understand Lex's concept of giving a platform to all influential comers, but I don't give as much intellectual weight to dandruff vs brain surgery. Grateful to Lex but WTF?
@captainjack-- astonishingly, it would seem that Fox News were raining in Carlson and have now delivered to us the world's most confident idiot.
Quantom?
I Love your conversations with the likes of Sean Carroll and others of similar mind
I both understood this and didn't understand it.
Hi! Sent you an email regarding bugs - rare kind. Hope you get to read it. Ty!
Why did not Schrodinger himself see this?
Interesting darlinks,, as a hair colorist ,, why my colors no hold anymore ? is solar flares or quantam fields cause dis ?
Deliberate misspelling to get people to comment and correct it?
Well, ok, it worked.
Bring Tom Campbell
Can I be satisfied and unsatisfied at the same time? If so, there's another me out there who's quite satisfied.
I can time travel , it's easy.
first
Whatever drugs Sean is on I want some
Big criticism of this is that this is bad mathematics
This all makes since on why God allows human suffering. It's the perfect solution to give every soul a fair chance of life. Infinite realities. I love it
More inherently unobservable theories from our physics professors.
Then please feel free to describe the observation made during the Double-slit experiment, buy using Newtonian physics?
@@jimbob8992 That's irrelevant. To pose that there are unobservable mulitworlds is less observable than ghosts. At least people on occasion see ghosts.
@mikejurney9102 but we actually see the photon, as a wave going through double slits, can produce interference... people claim to see Ghosts but never presented any evidence. The many worlds' interpretation of QM is not a slam dunk for sure, but it's not on a par with Ghosts.
@@jimbob8992 Once you apply the Born rule, you get a probability distribution that is every bit as valid as any probability distribution in classical mechanics. So if classical probabilities do no require the many worlds view, then neither do quantum probabilities. I think the Many worlds interpretation is investing too much in the intermediate calculations of quantum theory. Keep in mind that quantum mechanical wave functions are not in themselves measurable either. This means that the Many worlds interpretation is resting on non existing entities to start with.
@mikejurney9102 ultimately, the nature af the universe is described by quantum rather than classical mechanics.Classical mechanics, tailored for macroscopic objects, relies on determinism, enabling precise predictions given exact initial conditions. However, quantum mechanics, governing microscopic particles, introduces inherent uncertainty due to phenomena like superposition and entanglement, not accounted for in classical mechanics. Consequently, classical probabilities fail to capture the probabilistic nature of quantum phenomena, necessitating the development of quantum mechanics to describe microscopic behavior accurately.
As a layman, i dont understand the point of quantum theory. Everything is random and probable -- that makes sense. I dont understand what it "explains" about our universe/multiverse/existence, how it is relevant, and how it will ever *BE* relevant.
It's a lot more complicated than everything is random. If anytbing is more like "quantum mechanics is random but this theory allows us to make sense of that randomness and exploit it for all kinds of advanced technologies"
It's not supposed to be possible that we are here. Exact protons to be able to make exact atoms to make exact DNA which equals life. I mean, if you could do all that, why just make one universe? Don't the Buddhist believe that we lose some of our gravity which is supposed to go into other dimensions? People say {understandably} its all too weird, forgetting that we are here, isn't that the weirdest part of it all for us? We've made a vacuum of space {holding absolutely nothing, no atoms, nothing} producing protons which repel each other which then collide making antimatter which gives us life; so what's it all about because something has definitely happened and you can bet it's made things we cannot imagine; I mean i never imagined western governments to become so evil for example!
Sorry but you’re not making a lot of sense.
This is incoherent. Additionally, it’s not weird that we’re here. It’s the other way around. We’re here and that allows you to think we’re weird. You wouldn’t be able to say it’s weird unless we existed in the first place.
No way this guy is married
There’s a lid to every pot.
well spoken, charismatic physics professor. idk what else you want from a man
I love LEX clips but why he uploading the same shit over and over again? Talk about wasting time and view-baiting…
