Let’s talk about the unexpected and amazing benefits of zinc.
Including more zinc in your diet could result in major improvements in your health. Zinc is involved in more enzyme systems than all of the other trace minerals combined.
Over two billion people have a zinc deficiency. There is no functional storage for zinc in the body. So, as soon as you stop getting zinc from your diet, you could be deficient in zinc.
    Amazing benefits of zinc:
    1. Zinc helps maintain testosterone levels
    2. Zinc helps stabilize insulin and lower blood sugar levels
    3. Zinc supports muscle repair and regeneration
    4. Zinc decreases your risk of thymus atrophy
    5. Zinc supports better night vision
    6. Zinc decreases your risk of dry flaky skin
    7. Zinc decreases your risk of intestinal inflammation
Top causes of a zinc deficiency:
    • Birth control pills
    • Refined carbs or sugar
    • Phytic acid in grains
    • Stress (high cortisol)
    • Prednisone
    • Low hydrochloric acid
    • Alcohol

My wife had a gastric bypass years and years ago... more than 10. she lost a ton of weight which was very good! Her dietary team did not stress to her the importance of supplementing all of her meals from that day forward with plenty of vitamins and nutritional content that her body could no longer absorb from her almost non-existent food intake. That was very very bad! She was diagnosed with Ms about a week and a half ago. As you can Imagine over the years things have gotten worse and we've had to chase down vitamin deficiencies. She lost the ability to walk about 5 months ago and it has been no fun ever since then at all. All the blood tests said everything she was fine so they labeled it as MS. Imagine our surprise when another doctor Ran some different tests found out it was zinc deficiency a complete lack of to be specific. Anyhow she took a few walking steps just yester day and keeps telling me how good she feels and how much food tastes good to her again after zinc treatment at the hospital and physical rehab. All from one Trace element. Always go for second and third opinions because doctors don't always know what they're talking about. The body is too complex there's too much. These are good men and women who are out there doing their jobs to the best of their ability but it's just so difficult sometimes. Just remember that some doctors see things different than other doctors and you should go ahead and see what their opinion is. Best of luck to anybody out there who is struggling. And this guy is a smart man doing wonderful service thank you for that

@@desertknights5003 the most beneficial has been vitamin D and what it does for the body. I'm a diabetic and live in the midwest. These factors make me deficient by default. But I also noticed my hair was thin and I'd shed so much in the shower. I bumped into one of his videos and i began taking vitamin D but I started with very low doses. I then increased to 10,000 IU, then 20,000, then 30,000 until I saw another of his videos where he recommended 40,000 IUs daily. So I decided to increase to 40,000, added vitamin E, Selenium and vitamins A and K. I'm growing hair like a chia pet. I have so many new sprouts that now the only annoying thing (I kid I kid) is my new hair sticking out because its grown. I also added electrolytes to keep hydrated (although I was already consuming 300oz of water daily). I'm now reviewing more of his videos on autoimmune diseases because my sister has been affected by an onslaught of conditions. Time to help her out.

I have very mild cerebral palsy, and the hair just stood up on the back of my neck, since everything you mentioned about the soleus muscle contracting, relaxing, and not developing is exactly the problem. How strange. There is definitely a link between CP and vitamin deficiencies since CP kids are apparently born with almost no levels of E. I’ve had minor skin issues all my life that get better or worse with vitamins, diet, gluten, and sugar, so I know there’s some kind of deficiency. There’s also something to do with GABA receptors, so I’m taking calcium, magnesium, zinc, D and E in the hopes that I stumble upon a miracle! I did notice less stiffness with keto, although I don’t like to do strict keto because it affects my ability to do strenuous exercise. Keep up the great work.

I read some research many years ago done by a doctor who was a PhD student in my country (Denmark). He was researching the connection between type 1 diabetes and zinc levels in the pancreas. He saw there was a sharp decrease of zinc in the pancreas of type 1 diabetics when the autoimmune activity was highest (early diagnosis), but the conclusion was a “chicken or egg” type of thing as well. He wasn’t able to conclude what came first - if the decrease happened because of the autoimmune reaction or caused it (or for some other reason). I just thought it was very interesting back then, and started to occasionally supplement with it, after I read the paper (I’m a type 1 diabetic).

I have blood work every 6 months and at age 59 have watched my D3 go from 25 to 78 while my blood calcium has gone from 11.4 to 8.7 mg/dL. My D3 + K2 are ordered on-line from a company called human(n) This has gotten my D3 to 78 not 71 and it was not immediate. This was three different blood tests 6 months apart. 28 when I realized I needed to do something then 45 after about 4 months of taking 11,000 IU's followed by the last test about a month ago that I had 78. I am staying on 11,000 IU's now. The zinc plus D3 has PROVEN to be the best defense against COVID-19 but you will not hear that from the corporate media sponsored by Phizer. They found all soils were so zinc deficient that food grown on them could not possibly provide a useful daily requirement of zinc.
