As much as I agree with some of the Criticism, most of it is extremely harsh and comes from "new fans', sort of. Xavi is the First Gaffer to coach the Team after Enrique's departure imo, and he's a proper one at that (Messiless too). From what I've seen during the past two years, he made some foolish mistakes, but what held him back were Laporta & Co, the multiple injuries and the decrease in Form.
In the end he'll leave and prove his worth elsewhere, obviously. And we'll remember him as someone who tidied up a Club in Disarray.

Don't think Xavi watched Premier League. Everyone who doesn't watched City before Pep doesn't know him as an player. And even in Premier League he played only 14 matches at average per year. He made also only 5 CL matches. I also never heard about him because I don't watch pre Pep City in the PL and Europaleague. Also Micah played never at the Euros or WC. But Xavi played once 2007 in a friendly vs Micah but i don't think Xavi remembers

This season Barca is performing much closer to what our squad strength actually is. Us winning the league last season was very lucky, we got away with a lot of minimal wins, but it shows how much stability Xavi brought into the club/team. While I do think Xavi can become an even better coach in taking risks tactically and tries to control the games a little too much, for me the problem with our club is completely at the board level, with internal conflicts caused by problematic people like Deco. I'd still prefer to have Alemany back.
Still I'm very thankful for Xavi's work, people don't seem to realise that getting through young talents is why we're still head above water. We've had an incredibly unlucky season too with injuries, very questionable refereeing/var work (seriously) and would be in the second half of the table if it wasn't for Xavi. Don't forget we'd be on top with 10 points clear if it wasn't for La Liga referees this season. Either way, players like Cubarsi, Yamal, Guiu, Fermin, Cassado, Balde, Gavi, Roque knocking themselves into the squad is because Xavi opened those doors and shaped them to become leaders at such an age. When, hopefully, in a couple of years we truly can be so good that we are favorites for prizes like the CL, it will be because of the fundamental work he did this season.
