    Try updating the bios. Most modern motherboards have functions to do it without a USB but weird incompatabilities can cause shutdowns. Alternatively you can try reseating the cpu and monitoring temps. Definitely take it in if you're not comfortable working on it yourself though.

      How did you update your BIOS? I have a Cyberpower PC and wanted to upgrade my CPU, bought a 5800X3D and now my bios won't update. Asked around on Reddit in the Gigabyte section and was told my bios was a custom bios "42e" which you can't find at all on the official bios section at Gigabyte. Long story short these custom bios can't be updated because Cyberpower doesn't want you fucking with their systems and possibly breaking stuff putting them on the hook if its still under warranty.@@JGonzu

    I bought a cyberpower gamer xtreme last year in November. The only issue I had was that the stock cooler master cpu fan and the two side fans that was set to exhaust and I flipped them around. As for the cpu fan, I just replaced it 3 days ago with a corsair iCUE H150i elite capellix liquid cpu cooler in which it brought my temps all the way down and come to find out, the stock one didn't have much thermal paste applied to it. I do agree with you about cyberpower having some issues with it being a pre-built but I had to do a lot of research as to how the pc work as one. I am much satisfied with it now and I'm currently adding a lot more features to it. I can't stress it enough that if you're new to the whole pc world, make sure to do a lot and I mean a lot of research on how a pc operates and what each component do as well as setting up your bios. As with that said, Game on homie!

    Hey I hope you see this, I would HIGHLY recommend changing your power supply as it could be a fire hazard, could damage or kill your other components and might be causing the shutdown issue. Gamers Nexus did a giant piece on Gigabyte GP-P750GM power supplies literally EXPLODING under load, at times running less than 60% of the rated PSU wattage, lots of system builders and Newegg were dumping them on unsuspecting buyers for a while, look up the Gamers Nexus videos for more detailed info. Even if it doesn't help the shutting down issue, get rid of that grenade of a power supply while you still can, protect the rest of your PC and prevent a potential fire, maybe see if Steve from Gamers Nexus will take it, they were collecting them to explode for a while.

    I left you a message on the other video, but so you don't have to look for it, when it happened to me it was the graphics card. Worked part of the time and the would randomly shut down. Didn't do it only under heavy use or after being on a long time, just random. Finally I asked someone to look at it and see if they could tell what it was and it was the graphics card. I told Cyber power and they asked me to send back the faulty one and at the same time they sent a new one. I didn't have to pay for postage on either one, they covered it. I understand your frustration because I couldn't figure out what was wrong for 6 months and it was shutting down some days 20 times or more and they couldn't help me fix it until I could tell them what was wrong. I've had it almost 6 years and it has been great ever since.

    either your GPU is overclocked and its crashing your games if they have clocked it for you. or something is throttling and crashing the computer? you have parts and labour warranty so use it. you get years warranty with them and its your money bro! get them to rectify what they caused, if they did cause it? if you have used the afterburner and clocked it yourself put the settings back to default as this might be doing something as well?
    anyways i hope you get it sorted as i would be pissed as well

  • @AoBaiGaming
    @AoBaiGaming Před 2 lety +4

    A lot of small things can mount up and cause lack of power if you're drawing from the same outlit, especially because you've got a baseline 750w PSU which means you've got to be running full cylinders for it to feed enough power to your GPU and other components. Any kind of external draw could cause a stutter, which logically has a chance to suddenly shut down to reset the power draw. I always go and splurge on a good PSU just because of how integral the part is to the system. Bout to have a PC built with all Corsair parts wherever they can be applied, and I'm gonna be using a 1000wattage Corsair PSU despite it being a bit overkill power feed wise for a 3080. A bit of extra power buffer really helps stop sudden restarts due to power feeding issues.
    Still doesn't stop the restarts when you've got the requirements filled for your rig being absolute bullshit though, definitely praying for you to get that shit fixed.

    One thing I seen first was Bad radiator config. The way it's positioned all the water is at the bottom and considering most aios are anywhere from 3 to 7, and sometimes 10, percent air, there's a good chance that it's shutting down due to CPU overheating from lack of cooling bcuz those pumps are made to suck water, there are made to push water, which works better if the hoses are at the bottom. plus, there's been a lot of talk going around about prebuilts and advertisements show the rad in that position. Gamer Nexus did a video on that very thing. Obviously it may not be THE problem but I bet it's contributing. You even said the fan wasn't working too. With all that being said, looking at the price you paid for that prebuilts, you could have spent a little bit of your time and built an even better one. I just bought the stuff to build my second one. I spent about 1300 and got a 3070ti, Ryzen 5600x, and an msi itx b550. I spent a little time looking and got a case with an included power supply and an aio for 150. I have about 1500 that is at the very least equal but probably better. Thats not a judgement, just an observation. All the parts are warrantied unless you short something out or break it. You could have taken that extra cash you spent and got a 3080 and a better CPU. Again, not a judgement, just an observation. The only reason I'm commenting is because you said you were worried about screwing it up. Take it from me, I've built 1 PC and all I've done is watched a few videos. I'm only building my second PC bcuz I work with virtual machines and don't want to game on my work PC. Anyways, good luck.

    @Bit_Fail Před 2 lety +3

    They cut back on PSU and use bog standard motherboards. Your first thing should be to swap out that PSU. It's probably way below the requirements for your power draw. You are right though. Cyberpower pcs are literally designed to break as soon as the warranty expires. I bought 2 pcs with identical specs for my 2 kids as Christmas gifts. The only parts that were the same were the PSU, Motherboard and cases. The CPUs and graphics cards were different as were the cooling and one of them the SSD wasn't even plugged in. Had to do it myself. Joke of a company. Never will buy from them myself. I recommend going to a local pc specialist where you can walk in and discuss your needs and have the system built by a professional who knows what they are doing. These are the kind of guys that run their own shop and don't want you coming back into store with a broken pc so they make every effort to get it done right first time for reputation etc.

    Usually it’s overheating, I had the same problem with playing warzone on the cyber power and until recently I have had my graphics all maxed out thus making my cpu/gpu temp go into the 90s. So I would assume the crashing of warzone is too much high graphics being rendered along with how much ram you have. All I had to do was lower the graphics on warzone and bam I could play solid 1-4 hour sessions and not get a single freeze.

I recommend rebuilding your entire PC, reapply thermal paste etc, and look at the quality of the items. Perhaps add better quality cooling just in case. If you need any help building your PC, I have built one every 3 years so I can help you through messages. It's also very possible that your PSU isn't efficient enough. If you have anything above an RTX 3060 Ti, definitely get a high quality 850Watt (or more) PSU, because this can definitely fuck you up. Most prebuild systems come with a cheap PSU and motherboard and it's really not good.

    My boyfriend and I recently took apart his cyberpower pc that stopped working a few weeks ago and we found some interesting discoveries. The graphics card was advertised as a 1060, but in reality it was we believe a 570x with all of the identifying stickers removed to hide the fact it wasn't a 1060. The hard drive said it was a WD but upon further inspection it seemed as if someone had swapped the label, also was the case on the SSD. We both tried everything we could think of to try and get it to at least load up to a monitor again, but it will just turn on and then sit their not connecting to the monitor. We were trying to get it to work again so at least we could get his files, but we have just chalked it up to a lost cause. All in all I agree with what you said about being cautious about buying pre-builts. Do your research! I understand that not everyone is comfortable with building their own pc, but these cyberpowers from what I have seen are something else. For any person wanting to build their first pc, but are scared to do so. Do it. If any of the parts don't work, 9x out of 10 it's because you didn't put enough pressure for the cable/cpu/ram into the motherboard or it's a faulty component. It's a learning experience that is fun, and will take you ways on end to the ownership of a computer. The only 2 times you shouldn't have to do so, is if you don't have the time, or are rich as balls to have someone do it for you. But just know, that buying prebuilds will have issues in the long run, what will happen if you think your cpu had failed? Do you have the experience to replace it successfully? Though it isn't hard for "us". to a person that's never done it, they may be too scared to do so, and buy another 1500$ PC. When hell, it could've just been a garbage RAM stick, or a burnt CMOS battery.

    But anyways, Try and adjust your minimum/maximum processor rate.
    Open control panel, then go to hardware and sound, after that select power options, and then select High performance, once you've done that go to "Change plan settings" and then choose "Change advanced power settings", after that click the + mark beside the "Processor power management" tab. Then do the same with the minimum/maximum tabs, and then make sure they're on 90-95. Also make sure the system cooling policy is active. After that restart your pc.

    • @O4B.CeeKay
      @O4B.CeeKay Před 2 lety

      Also if you haven't already done this. Go to "Settings" Then "system" after that go to "about" then select "advanced system settings" and then select "settings for the performance tab, after that go to "advanced" and then select "programs".

      @@JGonzu They could have slapped a faulty psu in your pc. Also the 750w they put in is the minimum requirement alot of people say but i would put in a 850w gold (i run a 850w gold with a rx 6800xt) to be safe as the 6800xt also has that minimum requirement of a 750w but you have to put it in perspective, your cpu,fans/cooling etc are also taking additional power so i think that your pc is drawing too much power for your 750w therefore shutting down. But you never know i could be completely wrong and it could be something else.

      @@ineedsumjuice6967 no ur wrong straight up. Il give it to u that it could be a faulty psu but 750 watts is more then enough. Stuff will spike with electricity but not nearly as much ass people say. It could be a bunch of reasons why it's messing up. It's good to check if everything's in all the way. To keep an eye on Temps and voltage while playing. A big problem is with hardware parts their using. My friend just got a prebuilt but the motherboard bios update isn't even available to the average consumer. I think what's happening is their using prebuilt specific motherboards that are super cheap for them to use which is causing compatibility issues because their not getting service updates they need like the average consumer motherboard. We changed his xmp to profile 1 and it helped make it not crash for alot longer but idk with these prebuilts u have no idea what ur getting into. If I was o.p I woulda returned that alot longer ago for a new one. These companies make huge profits off people thinking they won't accept a return. If I was o.p here's what I'd do. Download bios update. Download nvidida GeForce expierence and drivers updates, windows updates. Reinstall windows 11 or 10 or whatever u have. Try turning global cstate or c state controls off. Try turning xmp on or mess around with ram clock speed to see if it's ram speed compatibility issues. Make sure everything's plugged in. Check heat voltage and utilization before it turns off. If u did all these things u pretty much went through some of the most common issues. I just did all these things with a friend and it was so annoying. In the end he's still returning it because it keeps blue screening. Not this exact one but the abs master gaming pc. I have a feeling his ram speed might not be clocked out correctly but it could be an internal issue. They tend to use cheaper parts and with no way to fully identify parts seeing how they use certain parts consumers can't even buy makes it super sus to go thru with. It's either a hit or miss with these computers. I'm sure the chances are higher to be successful with a prebuilt then unsuccessful depending on the brand, it still makes it super annoying to buy cheap prebuilt pcs. Honestly to anyone out their reading this. If ur trying to make a budget pc I'd recommend picking up a case, motherboard, powersupply, and even ram if possible from a good will. Then focusing all your money into gpu and like 200 bucks into a cpu. If u buy everything used u can focus all your money into a gpu. I'd prob recommend buying the motherboard ram, powersupply, and cpu used if ur on a super budget, test it out with cheap graphics card first to see if everything is working then buy the expensive graphics card when u know the ram, powersupply, cpu and motherboard all work. This can significantly reduce the price of your pc if u find good quality lowprice used products. You can buy a used gpu but people tend to overclock gpu more then anything which can result in early death or problems.

I built my first ever PC a little over a year ago and it wasn't hard at all. I hope you get your problem fixed man. First thing I would check is that Gigabyte PSU. The 850w and 750w was part a of a big recall in 2021. Not sure if theres a way to check your serial number for it and see if it was part of the bad batch. Something about their how they handle power spikes and would cause the psu to shutdown into protection mode.

      bruh the gigabyte power supplies have been known to explode! Basically the wires and the steel jugs inside cant handle the heat and electronic current which cause the pc to shutdown when its at 100%. Ay to a temporary fix, go to windows and change the power management to power saver. After that go play a few matches of warzone. If you dont get crashing then its 100% the power supply. If you do still get crashes its the gpu not being abel to handle the heat. Please do this before sending it to microcenter so you dont get ripped off for like $200+ for a simple fix.
