a pc is only expensive as you want it to be, you could easily make a baller system on a budget , and if you don’t wanna drop the money all at once jus do what I’m doing, there’s no shame in putting it together piece by piece 😴🎉✅
I had to pick the slimmer strimmer cable because of power supply but pretty excited to give this a go on my 4080 tbh lol (one day i wanna upgrade to a 90 as well)
Personally I recommend just keeping the 4080 and waiting until the 50 series releases. Unless you can exchange the 4080 for a 4090 upgrading it wouldn’t really be worth it money wise. The 50 series can release as soon as Q4 2024 so it’s not that long of a wait
I really dislike how people just throw these in there. Like if you had gotten a braided white cable for it instead it would’ve looked nice. However, for the strimer at least make it look neat
Why did you route the new gpu cable like that? Instead of under/how it was? I hate how it is at the end. Its all diagonal and with the aio tubing AND the massive 24 pin there, its now a heavily concentrated area of cables n tubes going multiple directions. Kinda ruins the flow of everything. Try and separate them if its even possible. I'm not hating on you for no reason. I'm just asking a question, and providing feedback on how it MAYBE should be done. You can do whatever you want but its just too concentrated of an area. DOPE pc tho. Id set all the rgb to like an icy blue tho to really lean into the white factor.
Hi mate, I had to do the same. The cables were blocking one of the fans if this was done, so I had to do the same as this guy here , as my gpu is mounted the same. The first cable you see looks great, but the chunky monkey strummers are considerably wider.
The original black 12 pin cable didn’t come with his PSU either, it comes with the new nvidia GPUs. It’s just an extender cable that plugs into the 8 pin pcie cables to create a 12 pin cable for the new GPUs.

I don't know if I like it or not... definitely not run over the top, maybe if you run it underneath like the old cable.
The problem with these GPUs is that they are really wide. You can't close the side panel if you run it from the bottom

The original black 12 pin cable didn’t come with his PSU either, it comes with the new nvidia GPUs. It’s just an extender cable that plugs into the 8 pin pcie cables to create a 12 pin cable for the new GPUs.
