Happy New Year everyone! If you want to see Amelia's KNIVES OUT Reaction, check it here: czcams.com/video/-DsEJsptOkY/video.html
I love that you acknowledge the art director and production designer! Truly unsung heroes in a detail-oriented film like this one.
I love that the last shot of the movie pulls in on Helen as she poses and smiles like the Mona Lisa.
39:10 The 3rd Knives out movie is due to release sometime in 2025, but doesn't have a firm date yet.
After the opening scene I cannot TELL YOU how bad I wanted this to turn out to be a stealth Hellraiser sequel featuring Benoit Blanc.
Blanc looks dressed like Cary Grant did in the Hitchcock movie To Catch A Thief.
This is a great flick on rewatch. Now that you know what's actually going on... and if you watch carefully... you'll start seeing all these little flashes of detail that tell you what's really happening. But because they're not the focus, they are easily overlooked. Everything is there to be observed. Just like the titular glass onion.
Darell, the guy who was never there, was played by Noah Segan. He played Trooper Wagner in Knives out.
"It's so dumb."
-Benoit Blanc
"I don't actually need an iPad."
Great reaction. Sub for Clue and Glass Onion. Gritos from Tejas and keep on keeping on.
Amelia you are slowly becoming my favorite reaction person. Especially loved the doritos eating watching American Made, it actually felt homey a bit. Please keep reacting. And quoting other movies while watching movies.
I recommend that you check out some of the old Who-Done-It movies. Like the Sherlock Holmes Movies w/ Basil Rathbone.
Hi Amelia!😊 I knew your face looked familiar. You remind me of a young Tara Reid.😉 The budget was $40 million. Netflix bought the rights to the Knives Out sequels. Great reactions to this fun mystery, Amelia!!!🎬👏👏👏👏 I think this role suits Daniel Craig better than James Bond.🏆
Lol, comparing to that mentally ill traitor is NOT a complement!
@@harish123azI get compared to “young” (exclusively, young) Tara Reid all the time. I do see it and just looks-wise it’s a compliment to me haha. She was cute.
I totally agree that I also expected something more of the ending. I expected a twist to reveal another piece of evidence, similar to a Columbo reveal, that would prove he killed Andi. But the only reason he’ll get justice is because it’s not in the “disruptors” best interests anymore.
And then they all got COVID because Miles' spray did absolutely nothing
Much better job using words this time instead of the random grunts and gasps of the first one haha. A 3rd knives out is already greenlit and bought by Netflix, just gotta play the waiting game now
Not gonna lie…I started watching this channel because I thought Amelia was just gorgeous. But I think I’m sticking around because I love her insights.
I read this comment and was like “Aw, so nice.” And then I saw your username and cracked up 😂 thank you!
How many of you reactors are on this channel? I saw already 3 others…
Hey, did you guys know that you currently have this video as ‘unlisted’?

Don't worry if you don't know how Crypto works. You're not supposed to. They just want you to give them your money.
Don't give them your money.
I won’t I promise hahaha
My bad
I also don't know how crypto works, it's okay the world 🌍 is going to hell in a hand basket anyway 🤷. Loved your reaction
You know the end…they were lying to frame him, which was the point. Lionel didn’t know more, he was on purpose lying.
The big thing was dude realizes that all his friends would lie to frame him.
Tbh I didn’t like the movie bc of the burning the Mona Lisa. As a lover of history it pissed me off that they would do that and even make the main character seem cool for doing it.
Yea yea I know it sounds dumb but really ruined the movie for me.
What would have saved the film for you?
@@ninjabluefyre3815 not callously destroying one of the most important pieces of art the world has ever seen. Not to sound like an old fucker 😂
Almost right, they weren't lying to frame him, they were lying for the truth. They lied about having seen it happen but it did happen technically making it true.
I really couldn't stand this movie. The more I think about it, the more I hate it. Fun enough, charismatic cast, but holy shit the "mystery" was just dogshit. Really poorly written mystery.
1 - She threw away the napkin. She TOLD us she threw it away, confirming a fact we already pretty much knew, because OF COURSE she threw it away. (The movie LIED to us. Not misled, no, outright LIED.)
2 - She found the napkin... RIGHT AFTER THE TRIAL! Unbelievable - literally I don't believe it - the final day of the trial? Right after it concluded? Bullshit. Incredible, unbelievable timing... and an impossible task because, as we were told, she threw it away.
3 - She then... TOOK A PICTURE OF AN ENVELOPE?!?!?! Not the napkin, no; AN ENVELOPE! Why would you take a picture of an envelope??? Only one reason: as a bluff. Because you don't have the napkin.
3b - Because if you HAD the napkin, you would've
a - taken a picture OF THE NAPKIN
or
b - what you would've done: gone to your lawyer with the napkin. And your lawyer would've then turned the napkin over as evidence, and you'd win the case on appeal. Or get the first verdict thrown out. Something.
Now, I'm willing to overlook (b) as you can't have a movie if Andie simply turns the napkin over to her lawyer, but that leaves (a). Or, of course, the envelope being a bluff. Either way. You simply CANNOT have her take a picture of an envelope and pretend there's a napkin in there... and there's a long-ago-thrown-away napkin actually in there.
4 - Helen got "shot". So I tried to puzzle out who was helping Helen and Benoit. Was Andie still alive? Maybe Helen lied to Benoit that her sister was dead; she wanted her company back but didn't think Benoit would help her if that was the reason, so she lied and pretended her sister had been murdered, that the crime was bigger than it was. But then Benoit would've been taken unaware by her being shot, not knowing that there was a 3rd member of their crew... so maybe Whiskey? Because Helen had persuaded Whiskey to help her, since Whiskey wasn't a part of the disruptors? That would make sense: Whiskey grabbed Duke's gun - makes sense that she'd be the first to react and grab it, she's closer to him than any of the other disruptors [to him] so she'd act the fastest. And her running around with the spear gun then is a clever misdirect; if she has a gun, surely she wouldn't be waving the spear gun around, right?
But no, there was no 3rd member who pretended to shoot Helen... it was A FUCKING MAGIC BULLETPROOF NOTEBOOK! Are you fucking kidding me? Nobody can possibly have guessed that it was a fucking magic bulletproof notebook. Introducing magic into your mystery isn't playing fair.
And finally
5 - Miles lit the napkin on fire. It's gone, what can possibly be done now? I mean.. it's not like Benoit Blanc, a famous investigator with an impeccable reputation could, you know... testify that Miles burned the napkin, right? Oh, he could? Alright.
no where near the level of the first one for sure
