- Walkabout with me along a beautiful piece of boulevard in Da Nang Vietnam. This is for me and many others the best boulevard so far Vietnam has known.
This is filmed in Da Nang around My Khe Beach; maps.app.goo.gl/3NRUPYXBqCeec...

Thank you...great work...I n will be in da Nang in April....can't wait...thanks again 😊
Woohoo! April is coming closer 😎🤩 thanks for watching
ha ha April in Thailand generally 2nd weekend - get the buckets of water and water pistols ready champ. Looking forward to this year's edition. They always go off with the subbies 🤩@@Chai_Travel
Yes mate! that's right. I will be celebrating in Cambodia this year :D
I'll tell nobody. Promise 😂🤣😂Unfinished business champ. I seem to remember you saying there were some beaches near Sihanoukville that were on the radar or was that my mate that was there six months back. Can't remember must be the old age catching up lol 😂🤣😂 @@Chai_Travel
Is Galina a new restaurant? It was a spa / mud bath that closed?
Thanks for the video, I was stationed at the foot of Monkey Mountain in Da Nang, in 1966/67 use to go swimming at China Beach, man has it changed completely different from my time there.
Hi hi 👋 wow that’s a long while ago 🤩 it must have changed a lot a lot as there were probably not a lot of 3+ story houses built in Da Nang back then. Thank for watching 🫡
@@Chai_Travel I remember a few 3 story building in town, the houses were made out of plywood and tin sheets wood and straw, you know there was a war going on, nothing at all like your video, I can't believe it looks so good, Thanks for the memories.
Nice walking tour Chai. Another string to the Chai Travel bow. Walkabout Chai, love it. Wayne would love the exposure too. 😂 Nice work Champ 🤩
Haha thanks mate 😝 Walkabout Chai 🤪 Just a bit of a slow one. Have a great day 🌞
Sometimes just walking and filming will do the job 😊 great beach!
Haha I'm glad you think so ;P Thanks again mate 🏆 Have a great start of the evening already
Wow - that Boulevard / beach side walk is very impressive - world class - so good - Thanks No.1 👋✔️👌🤩😎😃🙏
World class I think so too 🤩😎 haha I’m glad you enjoyed this one mate. Cheers!
Hello Chai, i`m only 10days at home after two month SEA Thailand and Cambodia, now you make me want to visit Vietnam, it has awesome places ! Very nice walk with informativ talk, the prices seem to be not too expensive lol ! 🙏👍Thanks Chai😊
I’m so happy to hear you have spent such a long time out here in SEA ❤️ hopefully we can add a few more places on your bucket list for the future 🤗
Thank you, Chai, for the tour. Excellent Vid. I will be there in a few months and hopefully stay for awhile. It looks quite wonderful and peaceful.
Lovely mate! I'm happy you're able to come over and visit too :D
Beautiful. Thank you for this video.
Thank you again for watching brother!
@@Chai_Travel 😀
Great video! We plan on spending a month or two in Da Nang in 2025. Thanks, for the walkabout. I have now saved a few places to visit on my Da Nang Google Maps 😊
Good choice 🤩 I’m sure you’d love it. I’d say the only downside is the traffic and maybe the rain season :) but it’s one of the best beach cities I know 🤩☀️
I prefer these videos. Beautiful.
Nice ;) good to know!
Amazing video thanks 🙏
Glad you enjoyed it! Thanks for watching 😁
"You beautiful people." Thanks for a nice chilled video. It has helped me plan my Vietnam trip more.
Haha they are 😍
I’m glad some of my videos can help a bit 😃 cheers mate
It's a chill video, not chilled.
Lovely seaside walk 🚶I love that blue building 6:54 I noticed it in your last video
Thanks! I’m not so sure what’s inside that building actually but it’s indeed a nice looking one 🤩
Nice slow pace video ❤😊 chai love to see you hanging around beautiful Da Nang 🇻🇳 beach ❤ it's my favourite place, that bar and restaurant was pretty awesome I must say❤ 😂
Thanks mate! I’ll try to keep in mind you might be eating next time I’m filming 🙏
@@Chai_Travel it's ok chai 😂😊 a little warning ⚠ is ok 👌before that , I love that bar and restaurant you visit, Da Nang 🇻🇳 is my favorite place champ 😂
Haha all good 😊 thanks for letting me know!
Absolutely loved this style of video. Appreciate the fun snd detailed walk. I lived in Central America for a decade but SE Asia is 100% on my list for retirement consideration! 🤘✌️
Awesome! Thank you! It’s a great place to retire 🤩 have a great day and night
Thinking about going in September, is it a good choice that month?
I believe that is the DLG Hotel in the distance at about 1:38 into your video. A beautiful hotel and worthy of a stay. Paradise bar right on the beach is also a fav of mine.
Ow nice! Da Nang has so many cool spots. It every time surprises me 😍 thanks for watching
Beautiful Danang!
🤩
Nice video! Thanks!
Thank you 😊
I just walked this one yesterday, from the one end, to the other its 2 hours fast walk 👍 Beautiful area for long walks, 20-30 coffee shops, small restaurants and good beach spots on the way. I have to say i am very impressed with Da Nang, Vietnam 👍 Your video shows this place in a beautiful way, loved it! 👍👍🎉🎉🍾🍾
Aw thanks! This comment makes me smile 🤗 thanks so much, also for watching
Hug Chai, if u see him reporting on the street! Go for the legs!😅
Coming to Na Nang next month to explore more
Make sure you visit the temple there up on the cliff. It's the largest in Vietnam and has amazing views.
Nice! Have the best time 😃
Thanks, Chai. I am from the US and thinking of retiring in SE Asia. I found a great lady in Thailand, and we would like to do some more traveling together. thank you.
That’s so lovely 😍 Thailand is also such a nice country to explore. South East Asia is great 🥰 stay in touch
Great walk around ! 😊 cheers 🍻 😊
Thanks 😃 have a good day
Good video Chai I like it
Thanks mate. I’m glad you did 😃
Hey I've been watching your videos for ever and am in da nang also. You have helped my travels immensely and thank you. If I run into you dinners on me. James
Hi, planning on going to bikini bottom for dinner at 6. If you'd like dinner and travel talk with an old expat please join me. James
Ey James! That’s so nice of you! Thanks. How was dinner? I’ve to say I’m like a week ahead with uploading as I give me self some time to edit the videos I make 🙏 I’ve left Da Nang already. Back to Thailand. Have the best time and hopefully we can stay in touch. Again, a big thanks for the invitation
Thank you brother for your job, lovely video😊 will be there soon🎉 btw, which camera you shooting your blog? Capture is so bright)
Cheers mate! I’m shooting most of my videos just with an IPhone 13pro attached to a Stabilizer. Very handy/light to travel around with 😁 stay in touch
I really like the area in the video. Can you tell me the name of the area? I would like to visit it someday.
My Khe Beach
Thanks 😁 👆that’s the one 🏆
Dont miss Hoa Phu Thanh Waterfall Sliding, really fun.
Thanks for the tip 😃
Try nha trang i love that too
Hopefully on my next visit 😁
you should visit da lat and go to lululola cafe and "tui mo to" restaurant. The scenery is really nice there
Nice! Thanks for the tip
Love Da Nang. I turned Buddhist after visiting here and going to the temple up on the cliff. Only thing that is sad is you are not allowed to swim in the sea there.
God i miss danang so much
You are a youtuber so great and true, i hope you 100k subs channel
That’s so nice of you to say 😃 you make me smile. Thank you!
YOU ARE AT THE BEACH!!! You need to have an ice cream.
Omg I didn’t have ice cream either a coconut 😅 🤭
Could you please say what time of the year was this video filmed? I am planning on going to Vietnam and would like to know the best time/season of the year to go when is not too hot or rainy.
From February to May and September to November is the best to visit. This was filmed in March. I hope it helps
My friend is there now checking out the place he also goes all over & puts videos on CZcams he's on here as Always on a Journey
Good on him 🏆💪 I’ll check him/her out
@@Chai_Travel he's a nice guy you could help each other out he's been to loads different places I don't no how he does it hehe hope you are ok
I'm looking at that Mad Platters menu...thats cheaper entress than an Applebees in Bunghole Oklahoma(and applebees entry's are preprepared and microwaved). Dont think the Tiger Shimp annd calimari are freshly sourced at your local TGI's or Applebees either... just try to find that place on Miami Beach or the Vegas strip without dropping a hundred U.S. I might be in love with the Da Nang area.
Anybody got a good Moray Eel recipe? asking for whoever shops at that "aquarium"
My first time in Da Nang & Vietnam from TH. Is it the most free country around? No imposed closing times for bars & alcohol sales. Very little police presence. Scooterbiking around is pretty wacky & fun. Everyone seems well behaved. It is a bit odd though and doesn't have much charm until the sun goes down (in my humble opinion) Is there a real city here somewhere or does it exist entirely for tourism like Cancun & the like? Anyway, good vid. Tks
It’s what I tell my American brothers who say why you live in a communist country 😂 cause this “communist” country feels 100x freer than the United Snakes 😂
and yea, one thing I HATED about living in Thailand were all these dumb little laws they had for nightlife and drinks, gets me angry just thinking about it
They can be so anal. I just learned that chewing gum is prohibited in TH. Except Nicorette. But no vaping!
Haha you guys 🫢 thanks for watching anyway 🏆
what are you filming with? 360 x2?
720 😝
Vietnamese architecture is heavily influenced by Chinese tradition and little touch of French. Even though Vietnam is geographically considered Southeast Asia but it is Sinosphere country just like Korea, Japan, and Taiwan, also known as the East Asian Cultural Sphere, which are regions that have been influenced by Chinese culture, literacy, and traditions.
Nice one. Thanks for sharing this. 🙂 have a good day
What the name of the hotel you staying please
Star Hotel. I hope it helps
How’s the night life there? Anything resembling Thailand ? If you know what I mean.. 😉
No it's pretty tame compared to Thailand tbh
Yeah Tame it can be compared to Thailand indeed. Though in HCMC the party scene is much bigger than in Da Nang.
What is the name of the place you stayed at in Da Nang?
It’s called Star Hotel. Not the greatest but good value for the price
I'm sure Nha Trang is more beautiful than Da Nang 😊
I don't take a break😅
Hi, I'm coming to VN tmrw. from Bali. I'll be in Danang on Tuesday and plan to stay a few weeks. Can you please share the name of your hotel $9 - $12 a night is perfect
It’s called Star Hotel. It’s a nice location. The staff is friendly and it has a swimming pool at the rooftop. No coffee or tea in the room and the rooms are a bit older :) perfect for 9usd. You also can check on Agoda 😊
@@Chai_Travel Thanks
Chinese temple? In Vietnam? Call it what you like, but not Chinese.
L1R1
Mad Platter how much are the rooms
I am not aware you're able to sleep at Mad Platter sorry. I'll advice to approach them via Facebook.
Wayne guy compared Da Nang with Chiangmai! It's a lame comparison. In Vietnam, Da Lat can be compared to Chiang Mai, so I really want you to come to Da Lat to see how it compares to Chiang Mai.
I reckon Da Lat/Chiang Mai would be a better comparison indeed. Though I can see what he means (maybe) it’s because of the coffee culture 🤷♂️
@@Chai_Travel Da Nang also has a beach behind the city called Xuan Thieu, it is also very long and has casuarina trees there and there is a bicycle path. I think you should explore that beach.
Thanks for the tip 😃
Not Chinese
Thanks you 😊🙏 so better said; Vietnamese buddhist temple?
Yes, it´s Vietnamese buddhist tempel, since VN and CN share similar cultural similarity but it´s still VN tempel 😏
Wow 80 bucks US for a steak😢
Yeah I went to that same restaurant and was surprised but if you head inland into the city there's lots of restaurants you can get a good steak for 15 dollars or get meat and seafood buffet for like 20 USD for two people.
Putting the food in the front is so unprofessional...they need to move the aquarium at the restaraunt to the back. because it is a health hazard. also kitchens need to be open...
That’s one way of looking at it 😊
Please don't film toilets chai because I personally don't like it as because I'm watching you on TV mostly while eating like having breakfast lunch or dinner sometime.
Sorry mate! I’ll keep it in mind for next time. I do find it interesting wherever I go what different WCs look like so what I at least can do is give you a couple of seconds heads up before I show them so you know to look away for a bit 😅
@@Chai_Travel no need for sorry champ 😂 from next time maybe you can add a little pop up words to ignore me😊
Haha no worries 🙏
Yeah, that isn't a boulevard.
👍
Please do one on food safety number one concern for tourists
Bro hey, show the young exapts there ,it's will be very interesting to listen them .
