Hey Cal. This is kind of you. Thanks again. Are you in England now or still in Asia?
@@AlwaysonaJourney back in UK working but been back Thailand 5 times since :)
Been here for 23 days now, i am so positivly surprised with da Nang, Vietnam! Its so chill relaxing place to live, perfect place for a healthy good lifestyle in Luxury, On Budget! Love it! Good wifi everywhere! 15 km walking boulevard at the beach! Everybody here smile and are happy! Love this place soooo much! I only miss the chance to play some poker 2-3 times a month, would be nice with a Tourist Poker Club 👍😁
i thought they had a poker room in Da Nang,,,,,i thought called the Dragon Club
Nice to hear that yiur enjoying Da Nang. :-)
Every day there’s a new video of Da Nang. Can’t we keep this a place a secret 🤫 gonna turn into Bali soon 🤒
I don't think that's possible. This world is for all of us to share.
@@AlwaysonaJourney 😅🙏🌊🏝️🇻🇳👌
Thanks for the video. I can't wait....
Will be in Da Nang in August.
Thanks for watching. Might see you in Da Nang. :-)
Got back from Da Nang a few weeks ago. Your last series on Da Nang helped, thanks. I don't think you mentioned the noise from construction and Karaoke as being something to be aware of. And also having Bana Hills, Hoi An and Marble Mountains 1hour away is a plus.
Thanks. I never mentioned everything in one video as it would become too long and repetitive.I made a separate video about Bana Hills and another one about Hoi An. I remember mentioning construction in a video about the apartment I stayed in. :-)
Quality video as always sent super thanks. Helped me with the entry requirements during the Phuket sandbox. Looking at Vietnam next so looking forward to the next vid :)
Cal. Thank you so much again. Da Nang is such a great place. I've got as few more Vietnam videos to edit. Let me know if you have any questions. If I can help, I will. ;-)
I love your videos on Da Nang, they're so informative and up beat. Keep em coming!
Thank you. Have you been before, or are you going soon?
@@AlwaysonaJourney not been before but hoping to go for 2 to 3 months to escape the next UK winter
Thats a great idea. :-)
I was there two years ago and plan to visit again this year. Thank you for the great video.
I might see you in Da Nang then. :-)
nice video. thank you for the information. i will be in da nang next week. ive booked 11 days, and hope it will live up to expectations, so i can extend longer.
Thank you. I'm curious as to whether you like it and decide to stay longer. Let us know. :-)
Great information 👍
Glad it was helpful! :-)
Great video! Love Da Nang!! ❤
Thanks. It's a great city. I love it aswell. :-)
Great video, Subscribed, I'm planning on coming to Da Nang in a few months. This was very helpful in informing me of how I can approach finding a place. I've never been to Vietnam and want to give it 30 days but I suspect I'll enjoy it and want to stay for the 90 days allowed for Americans. Thank you for your help.
Thank you. It's such an easy place to live. Everything is convenient and competitively priced. I might see you there. :-)
This was perfect. So much valuable information. Thank you!! Just wondering how you managed to stay in Vietnam for several months as a foreigner? Could you make a video on this? :)
Thankyou. All nationalities can apply for a 90 day e-visa online. This became available in August 2023. :-).
Never been to veitnam but looks nice . Thanks for video
Thank you. Its' a wonderful country. Where are you from?
Great vid

Great video mate. one of the best about Da Nang out there. cant wait to visit Vietnam for the very first time in my life. My parents is vietnamese, i was born and raised in norway, they call me Fake Vietnamese ahhahaha

Ah nice. I hope you enjoy your time there. :-)
@@AlwaysonaJourney Definitely am enjoying it so far 😁
That's good. I'll be back there again in June and will stay for three months. Where are you from?
@@AlwaysonaJourney Excellent! Sounds like a good plan. I'm from the US and live in Koh Samui Thailand.
i was there 56 years ago what a change hope to visit the country again
I can imagine the cahnge is very dramatic. I hope you manage to visit again sometime soon. ;-)
The highlight of my trip there was a short drive to Lang Co beach. Had fresh lobster and drinks on a bamboo hut on the beach for about $30. It's just over the old north/sth border either through the tunnel or over the scenic mountain drive
That sounds good. Thanks. I'm curious about the beach you mentioned. :-)

I think learning some of the language would be very useful. ;-0
My dad went to da nang in '67; my how times have changed..
In 1967? Wow, I can imagine it has changed dramatically since then.
Man i just subscribe your channel cos you making humble request 😉😉 anyway nice video
Thank you. I appreciate it. Where are you from?
We're in Da Nang until the end of April if you fancy a coffee one day. I've seen many of your videos.
We are in Chiang Mai now after spending 6 weeks in Vietnam.. We'll be back again in June for two months. Where are your from?
I really like watching your vedio on your channel ,this is Grace from filipina Lipstick ,hope to see you soon 😊
Thank you! 🤗
I live here and I hope it stays undiscoverd..
Are you from Vietnam? I think it's popularity is growing quickly.
I was renting hotels for$10 a night. Older but clean.Two blocks,from beach.👍
I also stayed in two hotels priced similarly and they were ok for a few days. For a longer stay I like a nice outdoor swimming pool and something a little more modern.
@@AlwaysonaJourney Yes I wasn’t sure how long I would be there as I was seeing a dentist. I want to go back, this time I will stay several months and get a furnished apt with stove etc. . But yes. Good for a few days.
Thank you guys
You're welcome and thanks for leaving a comment. ;-)
@@AlwaysonaJourney You're welcome 😀
Tq❤
Thank you too
Thanks for your videos. Do you know if da nang is pet friendly?
Da Nang is becoming increasingly pet-friendly. Many hotels in Da Nang now allow pets, with some even offering amenities like dog beds and walking services. You can find a list of pet-friendly hotels on sites like Booking.com [Booking.com] or Pets Allowed: petsallowedhotel.com/da-nang/.
Best thing about Da Nang is that it's close to beautiful Hoi An.
Yes, that's definitely a plus. Hoi An is beautiful.
UK. Looking at going to south east Asia in October
Excellent. Escape the cold British winter.
Is Da nang loud? I have heard that many tourists complain about constant noise in Da nang. Construction Work, Traffic, loudspeakers etc?
Traffic noise is a common complaint in Da Nang, especially during peak hours. Motorbikes are the primary mode of transportation, and their horns can be quite loud. It is a growing city, and there is always some construction underway. This can create noise pollution, especially if you're staying near a construction site.
However, it's important to note that Da Nang is not all noise and bustle. There are also many quiet areas where you can relax and enjoy the peace. If you're looking for a quiet place to stay, consider doing some research on the different neighborhoods in Da Nang before you book your accommodation.
Da Nang is where the Americans and French set foot from warships. A little history info for everyone to know.
Da Nang is also where they've stored their Agent Orange.
Thanks for the info. ;-)
D N 👍
;-)
When are the best konths to be in Da Nang?
* Dry season with pleasant weather (February to May):This is generally considered the best time to visit Da Nang. The weather is mild with comfortable temperatures (around 22-28°C) and low humidity. It's ideal for outdoor activities like sightseeing, exploring the beaches, and motorcycling around the city. This is also shoulder season, so there will be fewer tourists than during the peak summer months.
* Peak beach season (June to August):Da Nang experiences its hottest weather during this time, with average highs reaching 35°C. It's perfect for swimming and sunbathing, but it can also be quite crowded, especially at popular tourist spots. Be sure to book your accommodations and flights well in advance if you plan to visit during this time.
What if you have to work 9-5pm EST hours? :(
Of course it would mean working through the night. ;-0
Sheeet - or send me that money so I can do the tedious task of traveling the world 😂
:-)
Can Americans buy property in Viet nam. ?
Yes, Americans can buy property in Vietnam, but with some limitations. Foreigners cannot own land outright in Vietnam. Instead, they can purchase a long-term lease on the land, typically up to 50 years. This leasehold applies to apartments in condominium projects, villas, and townhouses. There are also restrictions on the percentage of foreign ownership in a particular development.
It's recommended to consult with a lawyer specializing in Vietnamese real estate law to ensure a smooth transaction.
You left out the most important thing- Visa
I think talking about visas is a topic for another video. :-)
I want to come and live there desperatly. I just need to find a financial way to get my wife and mother with me. I will join you there thats 💯.
Good luck.:-)
I found it to be quite a boring place to be honest, just food, coffee and alcohol.
I'm the opposite. I love the laid back, chilled vibe. Nice beaches, plenty food options. Good weather and not overcrowded. It just depends on what someone wants.
the beach lookes like a zoo+same as in Bali. why one shall travel there, if You will struggle to find a free spot on the sand.way overcrowded. for some reason everyone is pumping Vietnam. rather would go to some Indonesian small islands+way less crowded and better environment.
Thanks for sharing your opinion
My experience has never been as you described. I've never seen the beach overcrowded yet. I personally love Da Nang, so its easy for me to understand why people promote it. If it's not for you, that's OK. We all have different tastes, and that's good.
When will you people get your facts right, you just can't go and live in Vietnam. You've got a one month visa and a three month visa which are not extendable, you must leave the country at the expiration of the visa.
We know that you can't just go and live in Vietnam and are fully aware of the visa situation. There are no incorrect facts here. The video is titled live in or visit. For example, many people choose to base themselves in Da Nang for one, two or three months then leave. Many return or find a job and settle more permanently.
@@AlwaysonaJourney at the very least the title is misleading by your own admission we can't just go and live in Vietnam, then don't give 6 reasons why you should live in Vietnam. In fact don't even give 1 reason.
Thanks for sharing your opinion
:-) I'm about enjoy my day. I hope you do the same.
boring af for solo male travellers. wont be returning
Thanks for sharing your opinion.
I’m a solo male, and I made dozens of friends and travelers, plus locals. You’re not friendly enough. 👍
I totally agree. I saw all the CZcams videos and the hyperbole but in reality it's boring af. OK for pensioners maybe or for 1 or 2 nights.
@dadbod7510 it would be a boring world if we all liked the sane things and had the same opinions. There's no hyperbole from me. I genuinely like Da Nang and I'm sure many other people do as well. .
@@dadbod7510 it’s incredible. Not every one is interested in prostitutes and fall down drunks
