This is the first video of a three-part series. I built six of these and it took me three full days in the wood shop plus more time for staining and installing. Lots of details and repetition, which is why I divided the video into three parts.

Beautiful job Nancy, I admire your precision and attention to detail.
One suggestion for future. When screwing the hanger bolts to the wall it would be better to screw on the end of the bolts two nuts tightened against each other. Then you can use ratchet or a socket tool to tighten the whole bolt without a risk of damaging the thread. (which wasn't important in this project, but might be handy next time)

Bonjour, We use here ( anyway the plumbers ) bolts ending with a hexagon recess.

Great project! I like your idea of using the shorter bolts to mark the location of the holes on the wall. I’m going to use it on some shelves I’m installing. Thanks for sharing your work.

You made glass cutting look easy, I tried to cut glass bottles by scoring them and then shocking the glass but havent had any luck yet.
