Drop-Leaf Table 3 of 4 - Building the Table Base

In this 4-part series, I will show you how I build a round drop-leaf table. The table is mid-century inspired with a beveled top and tapered legs. The first two videos show how I build the top and the last two videos focus on the base.
Part 3 is building the base out of African Mahogany. The base has tapered legs and rounded corners.

I love all the mistakes. Us wood workers know, there is a lot of "slop" that happens when we make something from our mind. Leaving the mistakes and the "I wish I would of done this..." in the video is great. It is wholesome and honest and true to the art. Please, never cut mistakes if you can, the remind me we are all human.

I like this woman .. not many female carpenters.. I like how she made mistakes but they just seem like a learning curve that she easily overcomes .
