We really just have one goal - to make your food life better. Ok that, and be entertained at the same time. And have you learn a few things along the way. So let’s make it 3 goals then.
If you only want the steps to make something, like those vids shot from above with no people, no conversation no nuthin - then we are absolutely not for you. But if you wanna a little fun while you learn, then this is the place.
Cooking doesn’t have to be hard, it just has to be delicious.

THANK YOU ❗️ - Zábava
I swear that this guy is the best cook for those who are high, drunk or hungover.
If you can successfully make this, are you even high or drunk?

Bluu_ Ice damn bro, I wish I gaf 💯. Gonna go back to smoking this joint
I have made no fewer than 25 of Sam’s recipes in the last few years. However, pound for pound, this one might be my favorite! Protip: If you’re making this in your oven, I recommend putting your pan in covered at 350 F for around 10 minutes and then continue baking uncovered for another 25. It really helps with the soaking and mixing in all of the flavors before it starts to really bake itself in.
I’m a 20 year old college kid and I absolutely love this guy! So funny and authentic! Love watching a few of these before bed and ending the night!
I first saw your videos in March, after my surgeries for Parkinson’s Disease. What a GOD SEND you are (and I’m not even religious really!!). Have to be out of work at 56 years old because of my PD, bored to tears and depressed. Then you came along. So I bought a grill. Thanks All!!!! Used Chorizo sausage links cut into little quarter sized pieces. Came out perfect. Thanks Sam!!
You got me at SPICY AND CHEESY. Anything with spice and cheese, I’m all for it. 😍
🔥💯
call me! lol
I could definitely do a MUKBANG with this skillet
I love you.
Well that escalated quickly ☝️
I think serving this along with warm flour tortillas would be amazing
Shane Montgomery That’s exactly what we did. Used corn tortillas, but added some frozen corn. Gave just enough sweet to balance everything.
This looks like a fantastic filling to stuffed green peppers!
Better yet jalapeno poppers
Dudes, Poblanos!
@@taysb08 I was thinking the same!
3:30 "oops" hahahahaha its like im cookin lol love it
Love that he calls out Greg for how he says chorizo and then says basmati the most North American way possible. Gotta love Sam.
Lmao I noticed the same thing. “Bass Mattie rice”
That was great. From England here... I copied this and used it as a filling for a lasagne! Amazing.. thanks guys =) keep up with the good work.
chris cleaves
Nice! Good idea. Can you walk me through how you did that?
Probably the same as any lasagne, noodles, filling, cheese, repeat
**cries in Italian**
@@PrairieRockz there's your answer from @Real Fan above =)
I’ve been making for more than a year since I first saw this video. Family loves it and let me tell you, they don’t run for my cooking.
That's fantastic!!
This is why I love the channel right here. Great stuff!!
Holy hell! Made this tonight. Not only a home run, but a grand slam! Great balance of heat and flavor. Thanks Sam for sharing with the masses.
I love this channel so much. I just started watching you guys and now I'm hooked. I subbed and pre-ordered the cook book.
I'll be making this when the family comes over this weekend. Looks so good
I appreciate how you don't cut out little accidents here and there in the videos like a skillet with too much chili slightly overflowing or getting burned a bit. Really helps me get over my own mistakes in the kitchen and keep going and now I'm getting a lot better at cooking because of that. Definitely have to drop by Not Not Tacos now. Thank you, Sam!
I've made this three times now, best cooking channel on CZcams
"We make food you want to eat" and CAN easily make!
By far my favorite cooking channel on CZcams, no bs, offers substitutions when he can, and always delicious
Not me we don't have tjarizo in RSA (to the best of my and my butcher's knowledge)
Amounts and/or an actual recipe would help!!!
@@imagoob1 I think the whole point is, "Don't worry about 10g of this here it that there. Do what tastes good to you."
Simply amazing! Looks delicious! I've never had chicken and chorizo, but willing to try it. Thank you.
Best thing I’ve seen you make in awhile, just because this is perfectly up my aisle as one would say!
Any chance of adding the ingredients in the description or at the end of the video? Half the time I get so distracted by the food I forget to write it down. And/Or I watch one time through to see if it's something I'd cook.
1 tube Chorizo
Chicken thighs
White onion
Green bell pepper
Fresh garlic
Cumin
Mexican oregano
Any other spices you want really
Rice
Red enchilada sauce
Chicken broth
Cook down nice
Cheese on top
Cilantro
Avocado
Tomato
Pretty sure I got everything lol
@@dh1realgaming795 Thks, I looked up the recipe on his site, but it isn't up there atm
@@weatherchaser1166 I gave the recipe lol
@@dh1realgaming795 Amounts for everything please?! Except the chorizo.
@@imagoob1 no idea it will be different state to state and store to store, seems like it would be around 10 to 15 bucks for an entire recipe worth, should feed a few. Take the ingredients I posted and do price checks have fun in the kitchen!
"And a cup of chicken broth" which was actually a jug xD Sam, i love your measures ahahah!! (not a flame, i actually do xD)
Looks amazing. Going to make this
Looks amazing. Can’t wait to try it. 💜Thanks.
I’m surprised Sam didn’t go for green onions on top to add a bit of color.
I grew up in California...my Hispanic friends pronounced it "chor-ee-so😉👊
Yes we do
I like chee-re-zo but I'm not complaining 😂
Looks amazing thanks for all the great dishes you make
Great one guys...love to see more variations!

Nice channel. Subscribed!
Thank you so much ♥️ i really appreciate it 🙏🏼 wish you all the best
I'm Definitely making this... But I'm gonna use this as a sause for pasta..
You must have good ideas often, cause that sounds really good
Definitely making this!
Just got my knife today and a new video. Today is already off to a great start!
Now that looks damn tasty.
I was thinking it needed smoked paprika then I remembered that the charizo has a shit load of paprika 🤣
That recipe looks so yummy! I need to make this for myself!
Yuuup on this one! Going on the list we make this week. Thanks again Sam!
That was not nearly enough cheese!!! (But it still looks amazing, and I'll be making it soon)
It's a Mexican jambalaya! Definitely needs some more heat though, for my taste. Cool
I made this for dinner tonight and it's definitely one of my new favorites! SO FLUBBING GOOD! I added scotch bonnet peppers and cherry tomatoes from the garden for a little extra flavor and freshness! I almost ate the whole pan myself!
Ive been watching your videos for a few months now and this is the first recipe of yours that Ive tried. All I can say is WOW, amazing flavor and absolutely DELICIOUS! This will NOT be the last recipe of your that I try! Keep up the great work and awesome videos!!
Thank you so much sam our knife came in my daughter is estatic it’s simply amaze balls!
Got mine today, prob gonna buy a second one!!!!
Jerome J Monfre II Awesome man look at I got ours yesterday I don’t know when they started delivering mail on Sunday but I’m sure as hell stoked. I bought it for my daughter but I’m totally going to use it too ha ha Ha
Choritho (spain)
Chorizo with a soft s (everywhere else)
I am glad someone finally said it😂
I've made something similar for years, but never thought to add Chorizo. Gonna do it for sure this next time! I've even used brown rice. Takes a little longer, but the flavor is amazing. I have also swapped the red sauce for a green sauce, because I enjoy the green more. Something in the red used give me really bad allergic reactions when I was younger. A can of black beans, rinsed first, is always great in it too!
I've made this 3 times, and it comes out perfect every time.
SAM IVE TRIED ALL YOUR RECIPES AND I LOVE THEMMMMMMM keep up the AMAZING work man
All of them?
Even de 2M anniversary burgers?
Francis Santana lol
SIMP🤡🤡🤡🤡
Yes dude when I say I’ve made all the recipes he’s made I mean ALL
Max: Look at that cilantro everybody.
Yummy, going to try
I made this for dinner tonight. Easy and awesome. Thanks Sam.
Hi! Does anyone know where I can find chorizo on tube in Sweden? Or is there any substitutes?
ramlosa98 Look for it in the bacon aisle!
I don't know if you have any spanish or portuguese markets there but they would have it. You could make it yourself, but probably an Italian sausage removed from the casing with paprika added is easiest.
Put on a plate with an over easy egg and that's breakfast
I've cooked this couple of times now. Family loves it, thanks Sam.
I have been watching y’all for about two years now and I have to say the videos are amazing as always and Max you’re doing a great job on the editing I can tell the progression through the past two years 👍🏻
"But were going to rush ANWAY" dohhh
Guess Max was rushing XD
"The kinda dish you take to someone's house who has hemorrhoids or somethin." Yep, this is the perfect dish for someone with this condition! LOL. Sam is hilarious...
It looks like the perfect stuffing for something.. I would like to see this recipe go even further. Dig the vids guys, I look forward to every one of em.
Love the videos, the humour has me chuckling away merrily, only stumbled on your channel a few weeks ago, and have already binge watched many of them.
The I have been keeping an eye out for knife to be available, must be good and popular as it is always sold out 😂
Thanks again for the videos. Look forward to the next one.
Regards from the UK
This was crying for black beans after you added the chorizo!
I don't know if you're a carpenter or what but you hit that nail right on the head.
@@bredockschannel7331 I'm a machinist, close enough 😁
😂😂
Totally agree
Corn
Isn’t there a problem with cooking an acidic sauce for such a long time in cast iron?
Yep. Eats away at the pan's seasoning.
Not if your cast iron is well seasoned, no need to worry.
I believe this is a myth. Always heard it but if you season properly it won't hurt. Grew up seeing my mom use cast irons for spaghetti sauce, red rice, Pan enchiladas and she always had beautiful cast irons but she religiously seasoned after each meal so I'm sure that's the trick!
@@SunnyRae10 And that's what I thought too until experience and flaking pans corrected me. Having and, like your mom, maintaining quality seasoning is vital, because if the acids manage to get under the seasoning through a break of any kind, it'll dissolve the iron underneath and cause the seasoning to flake off over time.
Yup season, season, season!!!
The best sammy! Made it love it!!!!!
Looks good, gonna try it
Oh you got a throw some black beans in there…
Bean and roasted corn salad with it. Yum. This is perfect
Hey Sam, love all your content! Bought your knife and it came in on Saturday, the day i returned home from vacation. I was so happy and couldn't wait to try it out. I started cutting everything i could find. My girlfriend came downstairs and just started watching what i was doing. I still had the box it came in on the counter and all its contents... She read the note that's in the box. As she read out loud the part that says "I really don't want you to cut yourself"... I cut the top of my index finger (not bad just a good little nick) I was so car full not to touch the blade cause i have seen what can happen just by watching your show.
I was so annoyed with myself that i got cut, i was trying to get the plastic piece back on the knife, i currently don't have a good safe place for it because i am moving in a few days and don't yet have a knife block.
Thanks for everything Sam and your crew. It has really gotten me through this tough time and has inspired me to start cooking again!
Much Love and appreciation! #dontcutyourfingerthefirstdayyougetsamsknife :)
ngl when u said u cut everything u can find and then your gf coming i thought u are going to cut ur gf :v
Just finished making this. Absolutely in love with it 💙💙💙💙
Made this last weekend! Key is extra cheese on top for final bake! Incredible!! A go-to, easy fall/winter, one dish comfort meal! And you can it it with a spoon!!!!
Love how you outed your friend for saying chore-eat-zo, then you said bazz-matty rice.
I get paid tomorrow Sam and I'm going to make this f****** thing!
how is it
@@mediaconsumption3972 he didn`t survive it
WOW just made this for dinner tonight and can't get over how delicious it is. Easily one of my new favorite recipes, cant wait to make this for family and friends. Followed the recipe exactly but added some carolina reaper powder for extra spice!
genius to add chorizo! going to try this and have fun with the toppings...love the diced avocado and tomato, might add sliced black olives
Hey Sam, I don't know if you know this but the name of that rice "BASMATI" means "my smile" in Arabic 💜😊
Why? Is it the shape of a smile?
@@danielhall3151 I don't think it has anything to do with the rice,, it's just a nice brand name
🤔I never knew that. Thank you!😊
I'm here to make MAX mad.. He misspelled "anyway" on the scene where it says "But we're going to rush ANWAY." No hate, still my favorite channel by far. :)
Looks amazing! Bravo sir!!!
There's a fair amount of work here. It took me an hour an a half to get a finished product. But well worth the effort.
can't believe he didn't throw green onions on it
That should have been the move.
@@MartyDadRiffs no no. Cilantro was the right move.

This was amazing!! I used 20 oz of diced tomatoes with green chilies (no cilantro), 4oz can of fire-roasted green chilies. This meal was
I personally can’t stand cilantro but to each their own I guess
You're not alone
Should have grilled the chicken before cutting it up would have kicked it over the top, and you had a grill right there!

I made this for dinner last night, turned out f**king phenomenal. Posted it on social media and about 15 people asked for the recipe! I sent them straight your way! Keep up the good food!
Lmao I love how max goes "I wouldn't even touch it if it didn't have the cilantro"
“Bet you can’t use the word hemorrhoids in a cooking show”
Sam: “hold my beer”
Well done young man! That looks so good. Gonna try it...
This is our current top favorite dish for company and leftovers!! I have all the canned items in the pantry at all times. And always get lunch-envy when these leftovers comes out of the microwave at work!

sounds like two combos thatll be amazing
I’m so excited to see this recipe. I’ve been trying to figure out what to do with the pork chorizo and ground chicken I have. I’m gonna have to modify a bit based on what I have available in the fridge still it’s gonna be close thanks
