Twice thanks to Sir. Frank Williams not only, therefore, for having brought Montoya to F1 but, above all, for having honored the sport, even at the expense of successes and earnings, leaving the drivers free to do what they want and must do, that is, to race and try always to win. Sir. Frank Williams, in order to face the competition, did not fall into the pathetic, low and unworthy game of the first and second driving which includes worker drivers who, by contract, appear to be little more than extras. Honoring sport it is obvious that, for those who remember and know those years, Juan Pablo Montoya faced an extremely unequal condition, always difficult to sustain and manage and that it had nothing to do with sport. But, for those who see the depth of things, in their essence, all this was the best of the best, what a sight! Montoya even came very close to the title in 2003 and this cannot help but reflect on the fabric and strength of this unrepeatable champion and on the noble and luminous path that has been indelibly traced in the universal memory. Montoya and F. Williams were well aware of everything and the greatest satisfaction would obviously have been the title, something in which, considering Montoya's brilliant talent, F. Williams, despite the situation, concretely believed. Well, dear Sir Frank Williams You have won, indeed if you have won, for all of us sportsmen and attentive observers of things, Montoya, Williams and sport have triumphed and nothing matters that it does not appear in the annals. It is told and will be told, written and will be written, from generation to generation and, in the chapter of universal history dedicated to Formula one and in the one dedicated to the philosophy of sport, it is obvious that, with regard to those years, the first place is and deservedly will be that of Frank Williams and Juan Pablo Montoya.
