    0:28 The best description of flush fit indicators I've ever heard. I hate the bloody things.

    Also thinking of doing turn signal mirrors. the flush mount indicators are cool but people cant see then so they dont know your turning. thats where the mirror indicators are soooo much better

      Couldn't agree more! The flush mount video will be coming next, the units are from TST and should be plug and play but the wiring on the UK / European bikes is different so it's a little more involved! 😬

      @@FrontWheelUp so you will keep the mirror with indicators and run flush mount with them? i saw in the Haynes repair manual they have different wiring diagrams. will wait for your new video.. keep up the good content.

    • @FrontWheelUp
      @FrontWheelUp  Před 4 lety

      Yup! The flush fit have day time running lights in them too so there will be a little bit of extra wiring involved.
      Thanks for your kind words. 👍

    I have a 2021 Yamaha MT-07 and I not only want to be heard, I definitely want to be SEEN. I would like to install a set of turn signal mirrors on my bike, while either keeping the original turn signals or buying a set of flush mounted ones from TST industries. My plan is to have 2 sets of turn signals in the front and back. Do you have any advice as how to install the turn signal mirrors? Great video. Consider me a subscriber.

    Great video! I’ve installed a similar pair of mirrors on my 2009 CBR but the problem I’m having is when I indicate they brightness isn’t that good. Any idea why this is or what I’m doing wrong? I’ve also got a relay installed as I’ve got the standard bulb indicators on the back.
    Thank you and congrats for putting together such an informative video!

      Sorry for the late reply, I've since gone through two sets of these mirrors before committing to buying a more expensive set from Tripage. Did you manage to get them sorted?

      @@FrontWheelUp - absolutely no problem at all. I've managed and I'm very happy with them. Hope the link works. Thanks a lot for making this very helpful video!

    I seen alot of people make that notch for the wire but I loosened up the bolt and nut and drilled a hole in the middle of the base and you get no wire pinch and wires are out of site.

    • @FrontWheelUp
      @FrontWheelUp  Před 2 lety

      That's a better idea. I'm looking for a replacement set of mirrors at the moment, I'm considering trying some bar end mirrors. 🤔

    Hi mate, I’m looking to buy a pair of these and when I messaged the seller about can these mirrors fold so I can get my bike into a narrow doorway they told me no sorry these mirrors can’t fold at the stem but to me it looks like they can fold at the joint? If they do fold would I need an allen key each time I fold them in?

    • @FrontWheelUp
      @FrontWheelUp  Před 3 lety

      Hi, yeah the ones I have do fold in a fashion, if you have the bolt set at just the right tightness. Too little and they are pushed in by the wind when moving and too tight it flexes the front cowl. Also because of how the wires are its impossible to get a full fold in without damaging the wire (if you wire them the same as I did that is). I can comfortably fold mine in just enough so they are level with the handlebars width.
      I've been keeping my eyes open for a better option as I'm not still not 100% on them, but for the price they are hard to beat.

    • @019208237
      @019208237 Před 3 lety

      @Front Wheel Up Thanks mate, just as I thought but they keep telling me no sorry they won’t fold and I’ve tried 3 messages now to explain I can see they can fold so I thought I’d ask you just to make sure.
      Can you do me a favour and just have a look at the ones I want on eBay and tell me are these the same cause they look it.

      @019208237 Před 3 lety

      @Front Wheel Up I won’t be using them as indicators I just love how they look so i would cut the wire off.

    • @019208237
      @019208237 Před 3 lety

      @Front Wheel Up they never gave a reason why they meant they don’t fold so it’s probably because of the wires. I know it sounds crazy I don’t want them as working indicators but my mirrors on the TLR are losing paint and I wanted some that looks different and I like the shape.

    • @FrontWheelUp
      @FrontWheelUp  Před 3 lety

      They look the same bud but the base is different to what was on the CBR mirrors so can't be 100% sure they will fold the same.

    • @FrontWheelUp
      @FrontWheelUp  Před 3 lety +1

    • @FrontWheelUp
      @FrontWheelUp  Před 3 lety

      These things have driven me mad since I first saw a comment suggesting they were the wrong way around!
      They are an unusual shape, if you put them the other way from the front they do actually look better....but the other way (like in the video) they look like they should be that way when your riding the bike and look at them.
      I did swap them around in the end but I'm still not happy with them. 🤣
      I plan to swap them out for something better...once I find something, most of the aftermarket 600RR mirrors are pretty ugly.

      @@FrontWheelUp thank you! I'm assuming I can splice these in to my existing flush mount signals? Did you have to install a relay for them to flash normal speed?

    • @FrontWheelUp
      @FrontWheelUp  Před 4 lety

      My pleasure.
      You can, I have a video on that too if you want to take a look. You may need a relay, I didn't but the relay that was on my bike wasn't OEM.

  • @DJREDLINE305
    @DJREDLINE305 Před 3 lety

    I think you installed them backwards

    • @FrontWheelUp
      @FrontWheelUp  Před 3 lety +1

      Maybe? The shape of the mirror looks correct when sitting on the bike, the curved part of the glass doesn't look right at the top.
      Who knows. 🤔
