TIP: dont drill over your thigh, there are major arteries that can bleed quite badly and might cause you to feel lightheaded which can hinder your motorcycling abilities
Ha ha
"Feel lightheaded" 😂 yes, hypovolemic shock will definitely do that to ya 😂 love the comment.
Bro you are the best. I got a 2014 CBR 600rr and I have been learning a lot from your videos. You keep it simple and real. Thank you for all the effort that you put in for all of riders. ( :
I just put those mirrors on my Honda looking good thanks for the heads up brother.
I put a shoutout on fb and I wanted to give you a shoutout in here. Wanted to give a huge shoutout to @CycleCruza. Thanks for the diy install videos. With your videos I've learned to soder, wire turn signal mirrors, install shorty levers (that one was a lot easier than I thought) and just a lot of great informative reviews. Thanks again for taking out of your time to make the videos you make.
PrBaLLaz123 Thanks! Much appreciated. Take care and best of luck to you out on the streets!
hey cycle i have a good question for you can the cbr1000 turn signals mirrors... be installed on the cbr 600rr?
Nice! I just ordered these and was fretting over how to run the wiring but this will work awesome. I have a cbr300r but its basically the same as far as installation.
Ordered my mirrors, will be in by Friday. Thanks. I like the videos cause it allows me to know my bike vs having the shop do work I'm capable of doing. Keep up the great work! I buzz around in Ohio .....might see that CBR1000RR
Those look nice, I have going to have to look into them when i get my new bike
+CycleCruza yes I used the link. The material that they use now seems too thin. Is there anything I can do to make it stop squeaking?
Just installed the mirrors today, took me about 3 hours didnt go to bad! The wiring was the tricky part with the little guys off the mirrors. Other then that they look good! Rained all day so couldnt get out with them yet but love the videos very step by step, easy to follow and understand! Keep up the good work, its helping my CBR look l33t ^.^
I'm about to do the same install on my 09 cbr600rr, but I'm a little uneasy when it comes to wiring. Which colors are the positive and negative on the left and right side?
So my install went great. Except they don’t work! Lol
I replaced all 4 body blinkers with LEDs and added the mirrors with signals as well. Replaced the stock flasher relay with LED one while I was at it to fix hyper flash. All 4 body signals work perfect. The mirrors blink verrry weakly/partially. Is this because the relay I bought says “up to 4 bulbs” and I now have 8? 4 body - 2 on each mirror?
Lmk what you think - I cut the mirrors into the same splice as the body blinkers so I would imagine everything would come up aces...
*headscratch*
Hey Cycle Cruza! Thanks for making this video! I'm looking to buy these soon! :D
Great tutorial and review. And they look so good on your bike!
Hey Cycle Cruza. How important is it to use same gauge wire connectors? I used larger ones for my 09 zx6r and everything works but bike won’t start. My girlfriend spliced the wires into her stock blinkers with no connectors and hers’ also work but bike won’t start either. Any tips would be appreciated.
I have a 2021 MT-07. The mirrors are on top of handlebars. Is there a way to install turn signal mirrors on my bike? That you know of?
Hey Cycle Cruza I ended up moving from a Ninja 250 to an 07 CBR600 double ahh bebe! Lol but the previous owner put too many led lights up front and so now I need to get behind the headlights to disconnect done leds. Do I have to take the low, middle and top fairings all off just to get behind the headlights? Thanks for any info bro!
But you didn't show us WHERE the blinker wires are on the motorcycle
did a search for integrated signal mirrors for an R3. took me right here Brother. the R3 mirror stems are hella short too. I was looking to do this for the safety aspect. the blinkers would be more eye catching to oncoming drivers. great post!
I have them installed on a 2016 cbr 500r they work but it’s blink weak any idea why?
Ive got similar mirrors to that too but they are really shaky, did yours also shake or is their a way to fix it?
Hey guys I don't know if this came up within the comments but I installed the mirrors and they work amazing are your guys wire exposing at all?
do you have a link or store where I can find the quick connectors you used?
Any reason why this wouldn't work on my F4i? The ones I've found that specifically mention the F4i seem really cheap...
I appreciate all of ur DIY videos! Thank you!
Thanks for watching!
I've just installed these mirrors.. anyone has a problem with the mirrors coming loose upon closing the mirrors?
So it not really foldable lah?
Is you do it frequently it will loose like you said, i guess
where did you get the quick connects, and how much were they?
Where did you find the quick connectors? Thanks
Will these mirrors fit on my CBR600F 2006?
How long did the full install take from start to finish?
Can I just used splice caps instead of soldering it?
So, how do you replace the light bulb in those mirrors?
Okay so I bought these mirrors and i was going to run only the mirrors with directionals and no actual turn signal on the side of the bike. So I wired the mirrors into the turn signal harness but when i turn on either directional, it just stays lit. Able to help with that?
I am having the same problem! just stays lit... did you ever find a fix for this?
Saw that someone was having the same problem but can't seem to find the comment. Phone could just be acting up. But I fixed this problem by just going down to your local RadioShack or somewhere that sells relays. Can't remember exactly what size it was but just wire a relay to each of your signals. So got 2 and it was like 5 bucks if that.
Great video!
cool mod and nice video
I have a triumph daytona 600 that I just bought and I was wondering can the motorcycle start with out the kickstand?
Probably not, it's a safety feature.
Is there a possibility of shipping to Europe?
nice, i like the turn signal mirrors heaps better
Same here, especially when you have flush turn signals installed on your bike.
Thanks Cyclecruza. I've been looking for this video. All the best. God bless. ☺
I hope it helps! Thanks for watching! Best of luck!
I placed my order for the aftermarket mirrors through Amazon.com. Thanks again for the install video & where to buy. Really appreciate it. ☺
Vas El Cool! I'm sure you'll like them, Thanks for watching and commenting as always.
Cyclecruza you are the best. These mirrors are excellent. Plus they look so cool on my bike. Sorry it's a Yamaha. But as my first bike I love it.
The mirrors arrived on Friday 24th January 2014. I installed them on Saturday 25th Jan. 14. I can now see behind me. I love them. Thank you for the tip and the link. Ride safe. God bless. ☺
Wow, those are nice. Thanks, I'm getting these myself - great vid.
Thanks! Best mod on my bike thus far!
@@CycleCruza Cycle cruza. How about if you want to have them as running lights also? Do you just connect the leftover black wire to the same as the green wire or what?
I tried looking how to properly adjust the side mirrors. Maybe you can give us a bit of a tip for a safer ride. Love your vids!
Just a thought, how easy are these to remove and re-install? Thinking about track days. If there's a lot of wiring involved then that might be a problem...
Owen Clark Just make sure to wire in quick connects, easy peazy.
Ah good idea. Thanks for the reply
What gauge where the quick connectors? I just purchased these mirrors and want to order the connectors as well.
I forgot and don't have packaging to reference. sorry... Just get google some connectors with a small gauge wire.
Did you ever fix the hyper flash or just leave it? I kinda like the quick flash
That why you need to change into after market Flasher/Led Relay(buy adjustable type recommend) ...
Common cases when changed from normal bulb into led.
Hope it doesn't void warranty though
Looks awesome Cruza! I was contemplating putting blinker mirrors on my black & white zx6r... after seeing this, I think I'm gonna go for it.
Actually when I first got into bikes, I wanted a white "c-b-r six hundred... double r"... It's too bad Honda changed the design & got rid of the white color scheme. :(
Thanks! They are great mirrors, better than stock. imo, Honda needs to get a new design team for the next fireblade and 600rr design.
Thx boss!
I just bought some flush mounts with Mirror Signals and was hoping someone can help me on how to wire/solder things together.
Flush Mount with switchback light bulb: Red Wire(#1) , Black wire (#2) , White/Black wire (#3)
Mirror Signal light: Red wire (#4) , White wire (#5)
Powersource/leader wire: Orange wire (#6) , Green wire (#7), Orange/black wire (#8)
Wire Resistor: (#10)
Did those flus- mount, fairing turn signals come with your new fairing kit or did you buy them separately?
*flush-mount
Came with the bike. I would have never added them myself, but I have mirrors with turn signals now so visibility is better.
CycleCruza I like those mirrors. Brings your turn signals up into cagers line of sight a lot better. Alpha Moto also makes some flush mount l.e.d. turn signals. I would use the flush mount and the integrated mirror together. Just like the set up you have. They sell caps that plug off the old turn signal mounting holes for when you change to an integrated. I would rather not completely abandon the fairing turn signal. Two blinking lights are a lot better than one. Thanks for all the tips Bro. I'll be hitting up your D.I.Y.s when it's warm enough up here to start turning wrenches.
Do they fold?
I got the same mirrors you got, which wire is a positive and which is a negative coming from the mirrors? Thanks
pinzo10 bar White is positive.
I got orange and green
I got it tho Thanks cruza
Is there mirrors that stuck out like yours with out LEDs on em? I'm tired of tucking my elbows in to see more clear.
P.s have the Nelson seat rig and high viz jacket curiosity of you... They work great. Subscribed for life!
Thanks! These mirrors are wider than the oem so you can actually see the road and not your elbows.
Could you just use T Tap connectors?
You should change the relay to fix the flash rate, or install resistors.
Will these mirrors fit on the new hyosung gt650r....?
muh'd maaz Probably not, these were mirrors were specifically made for the cbr600rr.
if you guys are not comfortable with a sodering iron, it is recomended using soder type butt connectors they can be found at local parts store and are alot neater all u need is a lighter to heat them up
Cool, thanks for your tip!
Actually, it says on the listing that this works with my F4i and I went ahead and ordered it. Quick question though, since I already have led flush mount signals on the front do I need any kind of relay or resistor? The flush mounts were installed when I bought the bike and they flash at the same rate as my stock OEM rear bulb turn signals. Thanks!! I really like your channel :)
Yes, see my relay install video.
CycleCruza I've watched it, but since my flush mounts flash the same as the OEM I think there may already be an aftermarket relay installed. What do you think?
If it blinks really fast you need to install a relay.
I just ordered them lol so I don't know if they will or not, but the LED aftermarket flush mounts on my bike do not blink fast so maybe it will be okay. Anyways, doesn't matter I think I'll just leave them regardless of whether they flash fast or not.
Just got my mirrors tonight. Now only if it was warm enough to stay in the garage and do this.
cool! Good luck!
I ride an R6 but I need to get mirrors like these. People cannot see that im turning from the front of my bike. I have flush mount turn signals which are basically useless other than making your bike legal (although not functional by any means)
Just got them. The housing squeaks. How do I fix that?
Ed Cortes Did you get the mirrors from the link I provided? There are a lot of cheap knock-offs out there that are similar but not same quality. The mirrors I have make no noise when riding and I've had no problem in over 2 years.
is it foldable?the wire seems it will easily break off
Have same question but well nobody answered, even after 3year later
NO THEY ARE NOT FOLDABLE. I HAVE THEM ON MY CBR600RR.
Thays why I'm trying to update to the cbr1000rr mirror they will fit the cbr600rr.
Can I use this in my Honda CBR600RR 2006?
Robinson Castro I just installed them on my '06 CBR1000RR...they look awesome! You'll need to change out your blinker unit with a turn signal relay to make them work right. FYI - it took me a good five hours to do the job. A lot of time was spent figuring out how I wanted to install them, rounded edge up or pointy edge up and how to get them adjusted to where you can use them. Once I had all that figured out I used my rotory tool and cut the grooves for the wires. I used crimp on connectors which is difficult due to the teeny tiny size of the wires from the mirrors. It took some time to figure out which wires were turn signal wires as well...you have three wires to choose from because the turn signals are marker lights as well, but the mirrors don't function as marker lights. If you need. The rest of the time is spent taking fairings on and off without breaking anything!
My right one stopped working... -_-;;; they're not even on Amazon so I can't contact them. How are yours holding up?
My mirrors are fine, You should just replace the led lights. Many people put brighter led lights in these mirrors anyways.
I have some leds I wanted to use for something, is there a tutorial anywhere?
TheAdamie I have no idea, make a post asking your question on some motorcycle forums.
cool, will do
Only My right one broke any ideas?
Why isnt this video working anymore? Cycle can you re-upload it r something please? Thanks
It still works, you must have encountered a temporary issue.
+CycleCruza thank you. Its working now. For some reason it wouldn't work at all yesterday.
CycleCruza where can i find the quick connectors?
Hey, I installed the mirrors but not all the leds are lighting up... any idea why?
I uploaded a picture here.
s30.photobucket.com/user/theadamie/media/light_zps580097ac.jpg.html
You always test them before installing the mirrors. You probably just got some bad lights, just contact the seller and do an exchange,
I did test them, and they were on and blinked so I assumed they were working but when I looked more closely I realized that the upper-inner side was brighter. The lens kind of hid it some. It's both lights, could it be some kind of wiring/relay issue?
Don't really know....try another pair....
I posted the question on some forums, hopefully I'll get an answer. It's better than the stock lights though and you're 100% right about visibility so I'm still happy. Thanks for the recommendation.
I installed these mirrors and for some reason they always moved out of place on the highway. I even tightened them all the way, but don't want to risk stripping the thread
The only time I had that problem was with the factory mirrors but I got new mirror bolts and put on these turn signal mirrors and haven't had a problem since. Get some new oem mirror bolts and see if that helps.
Juan, I had that problem too. I used the factory mounting bracket, bolt and washers. The washers are different then the factory ones. Let me know if that works for you!
I got these mirrors last year and got them installed at a shop. For some reason I thought the tech would do the same by drilling and hiding the wires but he didn't. Last Saturday I took it to other shop to hide the wires and he couldn't do it. It's mad annoying having those wires stick out.
Life On Two Wheels If you want things done right you have to do it yourself. Very easy install.
CycleCruza
I wish I could do it myself. I'm not a handy person.
Life On Two Wheels If you tell that to yourself than you are,
CycleCruza It's an easy install if you have experience pulling your fairings and a little electrical know how.
My mirrors came in the mail today. Are you god?
lol Cool!
I think they are up side down
about $27 i'll pick these up
now if only the snow would melt
Best bargain you will ever get for your bike! Love these mirrors!
I don't see how they can be better than stock. Don't fuck your bike up jesus Christ.
