A lot of abusive people don't show this side of them until later on, even after marriage. They've kept wearing the mask of charm, wholesome and great for a long time and then slowly and steadily through manipulation and pushing boundaries ever so slightly till they're brainwashed. Both women AND men can experience this, it's not as easy as it's laid out here and I think that radio host is way out of wack. She even told him he didn't start beating her until after they were married as well, but he glossed over that one.
A good bad boy the way I've understood it to be is someone who doesn't necessarily follow the law 100% but takes care of those around them. Isn't abusive, takes care of their kids etc. Think of someone smoking weed on occasion before it was legal or can party hard a few weekends a year but still stay faithful. Being involved with motorcycles or speeding on the freeway doesn't make someone a bad person outside of that space/community, you know?
In no way, shape or form is it her fault for being abused. People get threatened, manipulated and scared to leave. The only thing I agree on is to not be surprised when someone like that doesn't pay child support, but it's definitely fucked up of them not to regardless if they're a deadbeat or not.

@@T3n50r The reason why they don't show until later on is because people want to believe they didn't make a mistake. It was always there, they just lost the excitement and what remained was bad.
Unless you are talking about the 3% of true sociopaths/psychopaths the rest are usually pretty obvious, but exciting. I've seen hundreds of women claim the same, while everyone around them told them "Why are you with them?"
We don't want to criticize people after going through something bad, but at what point does the damage from creating an aura of delusion that prevents young girls from avoiding that situation become more important than the feelings of the participants?
Do you deserve to be raped walking down an alley at night? No. Is someone who asks why they were walking down an alley alone at night excusing rape? No, they are trying to teach a lesson to prevent rape, typically for other young girls.
Also, most violent relationships are mutually violent... so there is that.

"Pizzey says that she has been the subject of death threats and boycotts because her experience and research into the issue led her to conclude that most domestic violence is reciprocal, and that women are as capable of violence as men."
"Soon after establishing her first refuge, Pizzey asserted that much of the domestic violence was reciprocal. She reached this conclusion when she asked the women in her refuge about their violence, only to discover most of them were equally violent or more violent than their husbands. In her study Comparative Study of Battered Women And Violence-Prone Women, (co-researched with John Gayford of Warlingham Hospital), Pizzey distinguished between "genuine battered women" and "violence-prone women"; the former defined as "the unwilling and innocent victim of his or her partner's violence" and the latter defined as "the unwilling victim of his or her own violence". This study reported that 62% of the sample population were more accurately described as "violence prone". Similar findings regarding the mutuality of domestic violence have been confirmed in subsequent studies."

@@dereksbooks Women's sexual attraction is amplified by uncertainty and danger or adrenaline, they are also highly suggestible so men that already attract women end up attracting even more, it is kind of self reinforcing. That is why they like douches.
However, depending on their own personal life experiences, later in life many understand LOGICALLY that for them to get ahead in life what would be best is to secure a man with resources or an ability to acquire resources and that is reliable too. However this is logically, it doesn't make her wet.
This is why when they are young and can make the most of their looks many sleep around with these men with low social inhibition. Until later on when they think their "fun" years are over and land a guy that they aren't truly sexually attracted to.
Also, women are a lot more invested in protecting and raising their public image than men (due to evolutionary reasons), so good luck getting one to speak honestly about issues that could make them look bad lol
EDIT: Also studies have been done that the more one deviates from the average IQ (or the sweet spot might actually be a bit less than average maybe 90 IQ IIRC), the more likely that person is to be a virgin. So being dumb or smart are not good. Where do you think those men paying child support lie in general in the range of IQ?

The first time her husband hit her, she should have taken the kids and left. I don't care if you're the wife, or the husband, if your spouse attacks you, the relationship needs to be OVER. No three strikes, you're out. One and done. ZERO tolerance.
I have been with my wife for 13 years. I can count on a single hand the amount of arguments we've had in those 13 years. When we started dating, I laid it out very plainly: I will never hit you, let alone raise a hand to you, but if you hit me, we're finished. No do-overs, no second chances. Done.
Vet your partners properly before you make a legally binding contract with them aka Marriage. And have some self-respect and don't take abuse if it happens.
