this is probably my favorite video of yours so far. i really appreciate the addition of the carry distances as well as the wind; i rarely see people mention the wind in their videos but it can have such a big impact on shots. thank you for sharing your insights!

Really good video. Lots of good golf strategy given and demonstrated. Also, I liked the FV (face view) swings. I can admire how well you keep your swing centered and how you extend through the impact zone of your swing...Thanks again.

I have a swing caddie but never thought about using it on the course- That is what I am doing next round!! Time to get realistic about my carry distances in real conditions. I love your reasoning on why to play the shot you need to play in the conditions. You are awesome.

Great info Gen, I have always selected my club based on my carry distance and have always tried to fly it to the pin, never taking into account the expected roll out. You are helping people take strokes off their game without them making any other adjustments. Keep up the great work!

I am using shot scope to record and analyse all my shots including putting distance stats. Once I get all my club distances I can then use my gps to set my club distances in. It doesn’t give carry only total when you walk to the next shot but for high handicapper it is close enough and it the extra stats of approach etc that give invites into where to improve.

This is a very educational video. Wow. Good stuff. Wish I were 30 years younger to benefit my game with your pointers (and equipment).
I play one hole that is beyond understanding. What would you advise? The water is about 130 yds from tee box, so I lay up at about 125 yds. Now there is only 80 yards to clear the water and about 150 to the green. I hit the ball into the water every time I aim for the green, no matter if I use my 3 wood or 19 degree hybrid. There is a way to play around the water, but I just want to figure out why that second shot doesn’t clear it. Any other fairway shot of 100+ yards gets down the fairway ok. I hate that this hole beats me every time.

I've been using SC300 since beginning of the year. Never on course though. The carry distance I get on driving range is always shorter than on the course because at KPGA range they use range balls which go shorter (but last longer). So when I play I always have to add a bit to the number that I get on the range.
