Ms Nirmala Sitharaman has given very pointed answers with clarity and foresight. Not a wasted word nor a unsubstantiated fact. She has answered without taking needless potshots at UPA. May disagree with her harsh taxation laws but have to acknowledge her honesty.

has 3 medical colleges(Madras medical college, JIPMER(pondicherry), Ramachandra medical university in top 10 country wide.
These were possible in dravidian model. There are always areas of improvement in every government. I humbly request country to focus on manufacturing jobs and cut down the # of government jobs. This will improve the GDP per capita at a faster rate like how china improved. we re already leaders in IT services, we need to get our race close to china in manufacturing and get a good market cap on it.

Interview combined with intelligence and politeness. Let journalists consider Asokavardhini as a role model in their respective media.. Look how she handles the session without hurting anyone but to the points which need explanation from the Minister. Madam's reply to each point is self explanatory and in simpler terms so as to make each and every one understand the reality on financial matters. Most of us might have watched how former FM Shri Chidambaram was replying to queries.. His replies were the telltale of intelligence and in-depth knowledge on fiscal matters but an ordinary man would find it difficult to understand. The interview was so cordial and conducted with decency but not missing any of the crucial question to be asked. Thanks.
But FM's reply to BJP'S growth in TN and the role of Annamalai does not seem to be conveying certainy and confidence.. I'm a senior citizen retired from a Central Govt job and on political arena were much attracted by the speeches of late Shri Karunanidhi, Anbazhagan and other stalwarts of Dravidian parties and voted for the parties including communists irrespective of their ideologies (we are all firm believers of God right from the beginning).It was when we started alienating from politics because of developments in the politics ( nepotism, corruption, youths addiction to liquor etc), Annamalai came as a twilight in the horizon.. His rentless efforts to take the party to the new heights on its own volition by conducting umpteen interviews, press meets. How knowledgeable is he... Have you ever noticed that this man has spoken politics other than the topic given to him amidst students. Have you ever watched the size of the crowd vehemently after Annamalai.. Doesn't it portray the change of mindset in TN. We at this age is deeply motivated by Annamalai.. This is the man we are looking for an eye ball to an eye ball and as a deterrent force sent by the Divine to put in place what we have lost in 1967.
You may voice your dissatisfaction presumably over non aligning with major players in TN but the truth is that he excels in every parameter - whether in knowledge, humility, understanding the people from different walks of life, delivering political speeches and lecturers on various platforms.(and astounding lecture on Ethics for example). He is much attracted by educated youths including our generation and in particular women folks.
Negativity should go away from our mind.

Why FM is not talking about supply vs demand, GST is based on Sales - eg If TN produces 5 million vehicles but sells 4.5 MM to other states, then TN will get taxes only for those sale of 05MM vehicles, this is the fundamental objective
