  • The Aeroflow Performance sheet metal fabricated intake manifolds perform well and offer an extremely good value for a performance intake manifold for the very popular GM LS engine family. This low profile and compact design were developed to allow the end user to fit under a stock bonnet. Short intake runners with tapered top are designed to increase air velocity and more evenly distribute airflow to all 8 cylinders improving performance and throttle response. We use thick 3mm (1/8") T6061 sheet aluminium for the intake plenum for maximum rigidity, so you will not have any issues with the intake manifold distorting under boost or warping during installation.
    These LS intake manifolds suit LS1/LS2 cathedral port heads and LS3 style Rectangle port heads.
    Each manifold is ready to bolt on out of the box and are designed to accept 102mm throttle bodies and include high flow fuel rail kit, all gaskets and hardware for a hassle-free installation.

    So will the stock ls3 90mm throttle body bolt up to this? Or is an adaptor needed

    Do you guys have an install guide for this intake I have just purchased one and am a little stuck with how to run the ports and fuel setup. Cheers

      Probably easier to give us a call on the tech line as there are a lot of variables with different vehicles and requirements. 02 8825 1979

    I've seen reviews on this manifold that say low - mid is terrible and say it purses which lead to cracking around welds because the sheet metal is too thin I'm not sure thats right, Hogan sheet manifold uses the same thinkness sheet and we know how good they are, all these manifolds holley, plasmaman, BTR all lose low - mid hp and torque, I've got 1 and I'm boosting it so not sure if its an issue my engine is a stroked 427 with 98mm turbo I'm not expect to get anything over 15-20lbs, I got mine because I couldn't afford the big dollar intake, I'm now at the $46k for parts so far and my budget isn't limitless once engine and turbo is at the turn key I may save for a holley or BTR manifold, Aeroflow usually make good quality parts so we shall see

      Thanks Chevy, there's a lot of people that get carried away with all this low down stuff when realistically no one is racing their car at 2000rpm. We have multiple gears for a reason! Shift up or down!

      Believe it or not, some people aren't worried about going faster, they just want their engine to look nicer at a show...weird right?!

    This intake looks great! Can you guys possibly share what makes this intake different/better than a common 'ebay sheet metal intakes'

    • @aeroflowperformance
      @aeroflowperformance  Před 2 lety

      Hey Quinten, sorry for the slow reply! We;ve adjusted the throttle body mounting boss for better accessory clearance and to reduce the clearance issues when going full throttle with a cable throttle. We also added a second vacuum port boss under the plenum so you can run fittings underneath or at the back depending on your application

    What are your recommendations for installing a push in map sensor?

    • @aeroflowperformance
      @aeroflowperformance  Před 2 lety +1

      Hi Quinten, most people will run a barb adapter in the manifold and possibly our part AF64-2149 with a vacuum line connecting the two - with so many swap vehicles there is always a different way of doing things but this is the simplest

      EDIT 16th May 2023 - THIS INTAKE MANIFOLD DOES NOT COME WITH A FUEL LINE CROSSOVER - APOLOGIES FOR THE CONFUSION.
      Hi There, yes it does come with the crossover but if you are planning on running Alcohol style fuels we would recommend upgrading to 200 series PTFE hose and fittings

    Does this fit with a c6 corvette??

    • @aeroflowperformance
      @aeroflowperformance  Před rokem

      Hi Emmanuel, we don't have many C6 corvettes in Australia so we haven't tried that however we do have Holden Commodores that have similar hood clearance issues and these fit just fine.
      The overall height is 7-1/2" so you could check that on your car to make sure! I believe the factory LS1/6 manifold is around 7"

    Lol the ls6 would make more power all over the board maybe bout 6500+ sheet metal may make few extra hp buy by then the ls6 stocky at finish line😂 junk
