@@musicloverme3993 Carr actually said this himself. I think its a gimmick which used to annoy me, but his ability to bounce back after vicious heckles is masterful.
@@HookBeak_66 Please rewatch. I believe you will hear him say most people laugh on an outbreath but he laughs on an inbreath. As to a gimmick, he says, "Who would fake that!" (iirc that is an exact quote,) I guess the only way to really know is to ask ppl that are around him in private when he is not performing. If he almost ALWAYS laughs like that, that must be his natural laugh.

He's very good, but to be fair he has more rehearsed insults than retorts. Still funny, and he did have a few specific jabs. I think Anthony Jeselnik has him beat, but perhaps there's more i haven't seen/heard.

Those people have got to be plants. At least I hope so. Making jokes about peoples parents like that is just disgusting. Also it’s just boring because they are nothing more than the jokes he would usually make. I was hoping to hear some witty off the cuff responses but obviously Carr isn’t up to that - at least until I gave up watching in disgust. If he wants to tell blue jokes in his set fine.

@@peterquest6406 CZcams offers clips to people and a lot of them are not clear of what the content is. Jimmy Carr is not funny. He thinks he is but he is not. You can tell from the way the audience reacts that they are laughing out of embarrassment not because he is funny. Even when I decline any clip that includes Jimmy Carr he still gets through occasionally. And then I write a long rant about how unfunny he is and then leave. He’s not the only one that I dislike. Another person who is unfunny is Ricky Gervais.
Relies far too heavily on the f word to be funny.
I too do not like comedians that over-use the F-Word....but.... Jimmy gets an appropriate balance, in the main.
Same as many words in society: Good ones should be used sparingly otherwise their depth of meaning is totally diluted and wasted...... Like the Racist "insult"...
