Fits any guitar (except a Tele with an ashtray bridge). That said it looks like a really useful bit of kit.

This is nice! I'm so close to getting an FTP, but I'm very curious: is FTP really more accurate than the Midi Guitar 2 app? A lot of people say that this app is nearly as accurate as the FTP, but I assume they only tried the app on an electric guitar, and that it wouldn't compare as well on an acoustic. As I do only play on acoustic, I think I will be better off with the FTP than with Midi Guitar 2. Could you please give it a try and compare it? The app is free (in demo mode which would be enough to compare). Thank you.
anybody knows if can I download the desktop software for the Triple play PROTRP301 if we don't have this UNLOCK CARD # ?? I don't have it, let me what can I do please
Can we use this connect and record them in logic x? Is there vst dedicated doing exactly the same in MacBook Logic Pro x? Or stand alone Mac OS app which can be routed to DAW?
Or the only option is to use this equipment with third party vst in daw but then what is the latency ? Cheers
You can use it a number of different ways. You can directly control any DAW (such as Logic Pro X), or you can use the Fishman TriplePlay plugin in your DAW track to get more controller flexibility, or you can use the standalone TriplePlay app. If you have an iPad you can use the Fishman Connect app, or you can use the TriplePlay controller to directly control synths on iOS, Android, etc.
There is pitch detection latency (about 10ms for the highest strings), and then there is DAW/interface latency. Set your DAW to use the lowest buffer size that works reliably, ideally 128 samples or less.
Can I use a usb to midi converter like an m-audio uno to plug directly into a synth via midi? If it’s possible, is there also a way to arrange parameters from the app and use them to control ghetto synth(I’m guessing not).
M-Audio Uno won't work; what will work is a USB MIDI Host, such as the Kenton USB MIDI Host MkII, or the Fishman FC-1, and there are others such as the MIDIPlus USB MIDI Host. I don't know what "ghetto synth" means in this context, but there are likely ways to do what you want. Check out the TriplePlay section of the VGuitar forums for a ton of info and discussion.

Still haven't seen any demos of this device where somebody tries to play some fast lines. Makes me more and more suspicious of it's tracking capabilities.🤔
Plenty of videos out there clearly saying that fast legato breaks it.
