Brotherhood takes food from Settlers, no big deal. Someone takes food from Brotherhood and everyone loses their minds!
FUmarc .EVIDENCE. show me a source where the BOS actively raid settlements without it being a player choice.
The Eternal Chronicler Porter Gage is quoted of saying that the brotherhood is no better than the raiders, they're just organized and better equipped and trained. So yes, they do extort food from settlements
MrRyeRob1 oh so we should take anything a raider says as gospel. No they don't I've played fallout 4, 4 times and in everyone of those times I never saw an instance where the BOS raided settlements unless the player choose to be apart of a most likely unsanctioned operation.
You realize those quest are unsactioned right? And that you're the one deciding how to go about obtainig the crops? Feeding the trops it's is classified as a tertiary quest/Radiant quest and a optional quest and not a main quest or side quest it no impact on the Storyline (BOS Storyline) You Who choose to do the quest, the deal is very simple the farmers give some crops to the brotherhood of steel and the brotherhood od steel protect them from Raiders, Gunners, Super mutants and Rust Devils "Food For Protection" You can buy the crops or You can persuade them. Doesn't matter because the quests are unsactioned, do you know what that Word means?
The correct statement is "The Player voluntarily takes food from Settlers, and Oxhorn loses his mind with PTSD nonsense."
I love how he’s conducting a serious military investigation while a fucking maniac in a bear mask is wandering around
you're talking about Bosco right or cait wearing a bear mask

I don’t like sand, it’s course rough uncomfortable. And it gets everywhere

If you betray the Brotherhood and later assault the police station with the Railroad, you can release Clark. He'll ask why you're doing it but still, he'll run away.

Feral ghouls have lost all humanity inside them, I prefer to put them down just to end their suffering, I'm pretty sure when they were human they did not want to be brainless flesh eating beings :)
thegamewarfareproject It's just like walkers from the Walking Dead.

Exactly
Solo I killed them for fun cuz why..? Well they scared the shit out of me when in darkness
With that same logic, I'm suffering and no one decides to put me down.... Just sayin...
I would feel compassion, but when something tries to claw my face off at that point it is either them or me and I choose me. I understand that normal Ghouls are people but ferals are not. I use ferals and zombie interchangeably.
when i played this quest, it reminded me of that girl in the walking dead that was feeding the walkers because she thought they were her friends

CadentClock39 Clarke aided the enemy, while Danse "was" the enemy.
+Erebos, God of Nerds Danse was only considered the enemy because of what he was, not because of anything he had done. Why the Brotherhood really needs to be rid of Elder Maxson.
Well Danse fled. After that he was a fugitive
Saab Rider He fled because he knew how the Brotherhood would have treated him had he stayed. You’d do the same.
Erebos, God of Nerds If you aid the enemy then you’re a traitor. That’s kinda how it works with military groups.

I mean I get that he had a ghoul friend but... They are feral. It's sad and all but they aren't people anymore. I think putting them down is the most merciful thing to do. They aren't like Zombies who die and come back. They are humans who are almost trapped in that body... that's how I see it anyway.
Killing them is really the humane thing to do. They'll never get better, they can't be cured, they'll simply be feral until they slowly rot to pieces.
Agreed, killing them is a kindness, I know I wouldn't want to become something like that, little more than an animal, hurting people even though I can't help it.
There is a dead NPC in Nuka World who ended her own life to save herself from that fate.
Damn...it really sucks if you think about it lol
***** There's evidence from previous games that mental capacity does degrade. They really are little better than zombies.
***** Tis a sad fate indeed.
As I said, it's a kindness to end their suffering.

There was one kind of behavior described about these 'feral' ghouls that made this quest a really hard decision to keep siding with the Brotherhood (in the same vein as strongarming poor settlers for food).
Not once in the game have I encountered feral ghouls retreating. Retreating implies more than responding on basic hunger (which ghouls do). Which means that the ghouls at the Boston Airport might actually not have gone feral completely (or at least not all ghouls there were feral).
Stealing food from settlers is entirely the player's choice. You have the option of persuading or purchasing the food too. Don't blame the Brotherhood for your own incompetence.
I have encountered ferals retreating from me before, they would run away then regroup and come back at me. Also they would still be feral as they would have the pack mentality, and sometimes the pack mentality is to retreat, regroup, and go again.
"Persuading" is just a euphemism for "Threaten" in this context. Even if
you take the nice guy option of acting like it's "tribute for
protecting you", that's just the same line common gangsters use.
Purchasing the food is only avaliable as a last resort, and it's the Sole Survivor's last resort, not an official way to go about the mission. Teagan doesn't even mention it as an option IIRC, it's effectively a failure state for the dialogue check.
Is it the player's choice? Sure. With The Institute it's also the player's choice to handle one particular synth recovery operation differently, but that has no effect on the mission's implications on synth recovery operations. The BoS mission makes it clear that the BoS take food from farms by threats/force, just like the Institute mission I mentioned makes it clear the Institute recover synths against their will. Just because the Sole Survivor can refuse to do the same does not negate the existence of hundreds of BoS soldiers who do it themselves and the BoS higher-ups who are completely complacent with their behaviour. Player's choice =/= faction's choice.
DarthVaderReviews The "nice guy option" IS to purchase the food. Everything else is being a dick, or a murderer. Whatever your opinion about the BoS, they do have humanity's best interests at heart: Preventing technology from destroying the world again.
Sure, it is the nice guy option, but it's not the BoS option. The point I was making as that just because YOU can sidestep having to commit immoral actions for the BoS doesn't negate the fact the BoS asked you to do those immoral actions (Just because Deagan didn't directly say "Take it by threats or by force" does not mean that's not what he was heavily implying). My point was mostly that the player choice in that scenario has no bearing on the BoS's morality.
And sure, they do have humanity's best interests at heart, but you were the one who in a different comment said that the road to hell is paved with good intentions. I have no doubt Maxon has 100% conviction to the Brotherhood's ideals and legitimately believes he is doing the best thing for humanity in the long run.
The problem is that Maxon's version of Brotherhood ideals are not the best thing for humanity IMO, (There are Gen 3 Synths, Ghouls and even some Super Mutants who are not threats, exterminating them would simply be murder and would actually hurt humanity's chances in the long run) and even if they were it doesn't justify threatening settlers with force if they're not willing to pay their protection money.
Brotherhood of Steel in general, I kinda like. They've changed from iteration to iteration, some I can get behind more than others, but I overall think the Wasteland could use a group that keeps tabs on potentially world-shattering pre-war tech and makes sure the wrong stuff doesn't fall into the wrong hands. Maxon's BoS, however, raid innocent settlements for food, and murder innocents because of "What they represent" rather than who they are, which is why I refuse to side with Maxon's BoS.
let me just say, if Gavil talked like that to any superior officer in the real military, he would not like the consequences in the slightest
I hate how him and rhys are dicks for no reason
Andres Lopez Forreal smh
they are brotherhood and brotherhood are dicks.
Gavil is a Knight-sergeant. So he does outrank you i think. This why you have Paladin Danse with you. As he reminds Gavil to watch his tone. Unless you start the quest as a Paladin or sentiel. In which case. Why can't we slap him ?

love that "a lifetime supply of cram" XD the irony in his voice is funny.
I have to admit seeing Cait in a bear head whacking things made me laugh.
Basically, the guy was suffering from PTSD. And like WW1 Generals the BoS don't understand, or care about, combat fatigue. I helped him out by getting him to turn himself in. I'll have to explore the ruins further as I didn't during that play.
Having him turn himself gets the best reward
Yeah, I executed him.
Yeah I had really hoped for an option that would take his clear trauma into account. Unfortunately that simply isn't an option.
It might not even be ptsd. As Clark said it ghouls were human once. Even though they are feral. He can't think of them as mindless zombies. Or as some kind of sub human creature. He still sees humanity in them.
It sounds idealistic but, other people might think so too. Piper alludes to this in some dialogue. I wiped out feral ghouls for a minutemen quest. She says something like there's nothing left of the person they used to be. As if she's saying don't feel bad for killing them. Not that there's really an option it's you or them.
@@kalen2465 it was definitely ptsd

I would have liked an option that would convince him he was being silly for feeding the ghouls, tell him to take what supplies he has left backup, then create a story about how the Food Supplies were mislabeled or misplaced and that we've recovered most of it. giving Clark a Redemption moment, well not getting him killed for just doing something stupid.

It might seem callous, but I really didn't take any issue with killing Clarke. Anyone who views feral ghouls as people is just too far gone.
With that said, I find the idea of killing nonferal ghouls without good reason to be evil.
He had good intentions though. He doesnt deserve to die for that.
How many atrocities are committed with good intentions?
Randall Ketchum who knows? But if they had good attentions and didnt intend for anything bad to happen. Then the atrocities are only mistakes and not done on purpose. No one deserves punishment for stuff that happens out of thier control. Plus dude, atrocities happen no matter what.
His actions led to the death of at least one other person, and honestly the ferals deserve to be put out of their misery. Plus there is an old saying, "The road to hell is paved with good intentions."
The road to hell is paved with good intentions.
So here's a thing: if you do this quest while you're still in good standing with the Brotherhood, but later side with the Railroad, you can interact with Clarke a bit more. During the Institute's attack on the Cambridge Police Station, you can let Clarke out of his cell.
I finished that mission just a while ago. Couldn't bring myself to turn clarke in. The boy was clearly in shock after his first combat mission, and i doubt the brotherhood even knows that psychology is a thing. To me, letting the guy go was the best option: the thefts would stop now that clarke was gone, and my concience is clear since i did not let a very confused and traumatized kid get executed.
I empathize with Clarke over the fact he sees ghouls as humans, at least to some degree. Non-ferals are fine in my book, while ferals were once human and deserve some degree of respect but need to but killed before they kill somebody else. If it wasn't for the state of the society and limited supplies I would be for trying to capture and researching a cure but at the current state of the world you have to hunt them down even if they run because they're not going to rethink their life and not attack people anymore like a sane human could but will kill whenever they get a chance. And I have to say, hearing people having fun killing them is a bit depressing, but if you don't dehumanize them what will be left of you after a year of hunting them out of a necessity ?
Nevertheless telling him to turn in is the only right choice for me, wish we could take part in his trial and perhaps speak in his favor or against him.
SinnerBeta
feeding feral like they where dogs is inhumane.
the right thing to do is to end their suffering and bury (or burn) their bodies.
not only is Clarke stealing from the BoS he is stealing from the settlers, making their lives harder so he can feed ferals, who no longer have any empathy or human characteristics. those poor settlers are going to be bullied by the BoS to give them MORE food that they dont have just so Clarke can feed ghouls? no he deserves incarceration, then set "free" in a den full of feral ghouls with nothing but a box of food. see how much of them are still human.
SinnerBeta Perhaps a "cure the ghouls" dlc is needed. That would be neat.
it wouldnt be cannon to the fallout universe as Ghoulification is incurable.
Ghouls cant be

I feel like Kells has too many pockets, who has that many pockets?
that's pretty typical for a military uniform. they would be used to keep ammunition in them in- this case it would be lazer batteries- but when I had to do sentry duty my vest would come with at least 4 pocket holders to keep rifle magazines in, so I wouldn't say that all those pockets would necessarily be impractical- I mean he's overdoing it a bit, but what do you expect from a brotherhood of steel member?
I expect them to wear nothing but a ball gown and still be able to carry 700 kg
Can never have enough pockets.
Got to keep sandwiches somewhere
Having lots of pockets is just being prepared. It's just the LOGICAL thing to do 😉.
Wow, Star Wars Prequel references in Fallout! His dialogue about slaughtering the ghouls was almost certainly directly referencing Anakin's confession about his slaughter of Sand People like animals. Awesome!

its seems like he was struggling with ptsd from when they first cleared the airport and you can bet the brotherhood doesn't give a Damn about ptsd
It's always nice to watch videos from this channel, Oxhorn seems to do his research before he makes these videos, or at least, he knows the Fallout lore very indepth, it's wonderful to be able to look up an Oxhorn video for almost every question I have over the lore-driven aspects of the game. 10/10 for being thorough and for the professional-like narration skills!
I'm so glad to see that Tuvok finally got promoted!;)
Meloncolliepoet do you know who really deserves a promotion? Harry Kim. Picard would have promoted him.
Sadly he just paled in comparison to Tuvix, the man his captain murdered
When I first heard this, I actually started to get nervous, since I had JUST come back from looting that entire area.
I like the amount of detail you go into with these, it's actually pretty crazy some of the story stuff I've overlooked while playing :D
Clarke is misguided in seeing humanity in the ferals, but his heart is in the right place and the instinct to value human life even in your enemy is good. Ferals may sadly be beyond saving, but regular ghouls are people as worthy of empathy as any regular human, and Clarke's recognizing that the Brotherhood of Steel is wrong about them speaks well for his character. I convinced Clarke to leave the Brotherhood, and told Kells that it was all a mistake after all, pleased that I'd at least managed to get 1 decent person away from those hate-mongering zealots.
Based
if you consider the BoS hate mongering zealots why did you join them?
@@Riggy1991 It's not made apparent how far the East Coast BoS have fallen until later in the game, once they've arrived in the Commonwealth in force and you have a chance to interact with them and see their priorities. Like most players, my first run-in with the order was Danse and his scouting party, and with memories of the way Lyons kept the East Coast chapter of the BoS in Fallout 3 true to the intent of the BoS charter rather than its letter, I assumed the BoS was still a force for good and had Danse induct Nora into its ranks. It's not until later in the game, well past the initial chance to join the BoS through Danse's invitation, that it becomes clear that they've been corrupted by the foolish mentality that's destroying the West Coast BoS and that spawned the ineffectual Outcasts in Fallout 3.
Hey oxforn I've seen all your videos lol. Makes me want to replay fallout 4, I missed so much

I think covering for Clarke but informing Kells of the Ghoul nest is the best solution. Clarke gets to return to his normal life (since no doubt he would be punished far too harshly by Maxson if ratted out) but the Ghoul problem is dealt with regardless with Kells sending a team to exterminate them afterwards.
Can confirm also that the area is cleared of Ghouls after choosing this option, I went back sometime later and it was empty.

My first character got to "Blind betrayal" before I realised the BoS were the wrong fit for me, that these were not the same BoS my Lone Wanderer had been proud to ally with and I deleted her and started over. But with that character I did do this quest and my choice was to convince the Initiate to turn himself in while I killed the ghouls.
Deacon likes it when u empathize w/ Clarke and also likes u promising to cover for him. This supports your theory that Deacon was once a ghoul himself.

I've watched all of your lore videos, great work! you should make a video on Longneck Lukowski's Cannery with trader Rylee and the mystery meat quest.
Great video, and great quest! So a few different things happen with Clarke, I've found: In my RR playthrough, I simply told him to run. I liked his ethics, and I was gonna take down the BoS anyway. When I came back after the Prydwen went down, he was standing in the middle of the airport wreckage, panicked and saying, "I can do this, I can do this..." For my Institute playthrough, I convinced him to turn himself in and I never checked on him in jail. But Elder Maxson must've given him his old job back because I ran into him when it came time to turn against the BoS(you can tell I'm not into them.)
17:13, I SLAUGHTERED THEM LIKE ANIMALS, I HATE THEM
Do you like roblox?
Oxhorn, there is technically a 4th way with Initiate Clarke, you mentioned about lying to Captain Kells, you can tell him that Clarke has fled (if you convince Clarke to leave that is). I suppose that's the option you'd choose if you saw reason in him trying to stop the Feral Ghouls but... Meh.
You can also cover up for Clarke by telling Kells it was Raiders and he'll stay in the depot with Gavil and Lucia. He missed TWO outcomes in total.
hey Oxhorn, loving the content! I actually look forward to seeing your videos everyday. I was wondering if you could do a video on the entirety of Diamond City, as in the history and all of the interior cells, etc. maybe even break it up into multiple vids if you have to. Also, quick question, do you play an instrument (just curious)? keep up the good work!
Can I just say that Tim Russ's voice (Tuvok from ST: Voyager) as Kells is just freaking awesome?
This quest, more than any other Brotherhood Of Steel quests, defines what is their glaring weakness.
Intolerance.
Are feral ghouls a threat? Obviously. Was initiate Clarke wrong? Perhaps. But the Brotherhood does not have this discussion. They dictate. They dictate that there is no mercy for ghouls. But worse, they dictate that there is no place amongst them for people like Clarke, people who do not fall in step with their doctrine, who are not just a cog in a machine led by one man.
Forget the morality of that for one moment, forget the history of one man having a army zealously loyal to him and him alone, and look at the weakness. Clarke is obviously capable. He did fight, he is trained. He snuck past patrols, successfully and non violently dealt with ghouls. This kind of man would make a superb scout.
But instead, he is locked up after a one sided trial, or outright killed without any trial at all.
By clinging to rigid doctrine, the Brotherhood clings to fundamental weakness, a weakness no other faction in the game holds.
Hey there Oxhorn. Quick question to get off my chest: What do you think about the NCR faction in Fallout New Vegas?
commentcrafter76 I'd love videos about New Vegas from Oxhorn's perspective!

Morally a hard choice. But that is the fun of it. Some more morally challenging quests should be in the future. Keep up the good work!!!!

interesting Quest and that's a tough decision to make I think and it should have had a good intentions and he want to do that right I can't fault him for that but feral ghouls aren't even considered Human by ghouls so what he was doing was wrong his heart was in the right place but overall was a very dumb and dangerous thing you did that did get someone else killed so I do think he should be held responsible for stealing supplies and getting someone else killed but overall don't think he was a criminal I think he was just trying to do the right thing in his mind at least try to do it right it was the right way to do so
I love the sound of freedom (Liberty Prime) stomping in the background
When I did this mission, my power armour had the Tesla Coils module installed. It's a very good offensive upgrade in a normal playthrough, I had an overabundance of fusion cores that offset the power consumption of the coils.
I intended for Clarke to turn himself in, but after that dialogue he must have a tag necessary to trigger the coils, damaging him and making him confrontational. I had to walk past him to get to the elevator, and the coils triggered.
I feel like getting him to turn himself in is the best moral option, but that was locked out for me because of a combination of game code and my choices.
A great MOD quest would be to develop a CURE for ghoul-ism.
'Cause for the Cure' and you will have to find Curie the robot to help you develop the Restoration ammo.
Put the new ammo into a Syringer gun and once shot into any feral ghoul, they fall asleep for 10 seconds, are cured, and stand back up as a healed healthy smoothskin settler. Glowing ghouls stand up as sane sentient ghouls. They will thank you and say the nightmare is finally over. You can then send them to the settlements of your choice, to join your population. The formerly glowing ghouls may comment they feel so much weaker now, and say they may no longer be immortals, but it's good to be able to think and talk again.
Curie will give you high Karma points for taking the quest, finding the cure, and for each ghoul you cure.
Saving the longest surviors in the wasteland, instead of slaughtering them all.
This would also give you a chance to cure The Old Gang of your named ghoul neighbors.
Solving the Duty or Dishonored quest would launch the Cause for the Cure Quest. Once both are completed,
a third quest would begin ''No One Left Behind'' where Curie suggests the Restoration ammo may even work on a perfectly preserved dead body. The Sole Survivor returns to Vault 111 with Curie,
and opening all the frozen corpses pods, Curie revives them... but they will only want to settle in Sanctuary.
Their old home town. Concluding the quest with all pods empty and the occupants as normal settlers.
Solving this quest would require fetching some new hidden tech items from the various tech and space program locations, allowing the player to repair the pods, opening them and reviving the frozen occupants. Sadly, Curie will comment she can not help the dead spouse, as she was murdered violently, and thus was not perfectly preserved.
SeaJay Oceans that is a good Idea but i dont think someone dead of asphyxia has a perfectly preserved body . I mean yes its kinda good looking from the outside but the organs should have gone like WTF where is oxygen and wasted the
Unless the cryo thing prevented that
All I wanna know is why does your Boston Airport have zeppelin ruins on it..
Irradiated space hamsters?
You should know that from the illuminati. Its obvious that your apart of them from your profile picture
The character at the end was his institue character
Interesting how all the conversations are different when you do this quest as a Sentinel, most people do this quest as a Knight as it's the first real sidequest for the Brotherhood after The Lost Patrol.
It's nice they included almost an entirely different script for a post-game version, where all the Knights and Sergeant Gavil address you by "sir" and almost seem shocked that you would personally investigate, almost like you are just as important and unexpected as Maxon himself.
Although it's weird that Captain Kells still talks to you like a common wastelander, I thought he had more respect for the player after they defeat the Institute.
Oxhorn, would you consider recording a play though of your Metal General build? I would watch and I'm sure other would also, like always another excellent and informative video, thank you for making it for us.
How'd you get your Sentinel rank _before_ doing this quest?
I simply destroyed the Institute before turning in the "Lost Patrol" quest.
Oxhorn Brotherhood stooge. Nuka World for life!
FUmarc FOR THE ENCLAVE!
Operators for life!
A Random Citizen My raiders are awaiting the return of Col. Autumn.
[Enclave Remnant Intensifies]
My BoS character told him to turn himself in but failed the speech check. He turned on me when I opened the door to the ghouls, so Danse and I put him down.
No regret. I wanted his black uniform.
Danse is a walking bullet sponge lmao. having him as a companion is almost cheaty. I had a situation where (after blind betrayal) he pulled out my nuka nuke launcher I had given him while I was carrying junk (Also gave him two nuka nukes, as we were walking through bloodworm territory [I abhor those things.] a few minutes before. we had just entered the commonwealth again, and were walking toward my base at Starlight.) and hit a vertibird pilot in the left nut (no joke, through a hole in the glass of the front window and right between the legs.) from probably 300 feet.
The CZcams Phantom Official OOF
@@lsswappedcessna This story is gold. Highlight of my day. I can just imagine a player lugging all of their loot back over the map border only for Danse to randomly stop next to them and shoot a vertibird out of the sky, lmao. Hilarious and impressive all at once.
@@HauntBunny Yeah, granted vertibirds fall apart like wet papier-mâché.
I got clark to turn himself in, I can understand him not wanting to chase down ferrals that are running away but if the brother hood had not pursued the fleeing ghouls then they likely would have (as the case is in most of fallout lore) descended on some poor unprepared settlement
I love oxhorn's voice, it's like he's a 90's game show host
One goul in the parking garage was friendly and attacked the other gouls and left me and Cait alone. Is it a glitch? (please reply) #yourTheBestOxhorn
you must have the ghoulish perk which turns random ferals friendly and they attack other ferals
perk
Bright in New Vegas took Ferals with him when he left with his followers. He understood they were dangerous and didn't freak out if you killed any, and ALSO took the ones he could with him. Ferals seem peaceful among other Ghouls. There IS another solution to wanton slaughter promoted by the Brotherhood (keep in mind, they hate non-Feral ghouls, too). I wish this was more explored in Fallout 4. I totally empathize with Clark here, and I also agree it was rather misguided for him to keep the Ferals around.
I found your channel 1 month ago and everyday I come here to see if there is a new video because you are one of the most inspiring and honest people that I've met in my life. Have you ever visited Portugal? You need to come here!
Just did this quest last weekend.
I decided to let him turn himself in.
He had good intentions but his actions were wrong. He has to be punished for stealing the rations.
If Bethesda would've leaved the 4th resolutuion to Blind Betrayal inside the game, I would have demoted him and set him up to cleaning duty with the ability to regain his trust.
umm you can't demote him he is a initiate the lowest rank in the Brotherhood
Kick him out. He would become a civilian janitor, with the option to rejoin the proper military once he has served his time.
I I can't demote him, I'd create an additional rank just for his case.
May I ask you a weird question. How do you keep finding all thesis backdoor or secret ways or glitches for Fallout 4?? I mean you don't just jump around too find thesis area's you keep showing us do you? There has to be some kinda trick to find thesis area's like you do .....
Console command to allow free roaming camera is the likely answer.
Kjell Bjorge I know this is way later than you posting this, but... When doing a presentation of any kind, it is proper to do as thorough of research as possible. He probably uses a combination of scouring the internet for leads and thorough exploration. Many people will take his words for gospel without so much as a second thought, so he has to be as accurate as possible.
Wow! Kells was voiced by Tim Russ! Tuvok from Star Trek Voyager! I never played through the BOS quest line, so never got to meet him. Still neat to find out.
Man you can just *feel* the Oxhorn in his character's voice when confronts Clarke.
You put Rhys in custody, I didn't because...
He is a good source of caps and xp
HEY you should do a sanctuary hills lore because its "by what I've found" the only one with the houses In it and somewhere in the begin ing of the game you hear something about it being the finest in homes or something and its the only place by what I've seen with the houses plus doesn't the place look a lot like one of the nuclear test thing like in Indiana Jones when he uses a fridge to save himself from nuclear death
Mate on Australian and if you do this please shout out me please ?
NK GAMING2017 You know I never thought much about it but the Sanctuary houses are very different in construction to pretty much every other residential home in fallout and some do remain mostly intact which is impressive.
The collapsed wall you can also clip through if wearing power armour, no jetpack needed, just get as close to the hole as possible then get out of the armour, then get back in and you clip forward beyond the collapsed wall, it takes a few tries but can be done.
Gotta love how you start that quest talking to Tuvok....
Can you please add subtitles to those video? currently, it is unwatchable as I am Profoundly Deaf.
