  • The Carmichaels would have been a Rugrats spin off focusing on Susie and her family moving away to a different city. The creators of the show allegedly made the decision to keep Susie in the regular Rugrats group instead.

We as humans have gotten further from our original ideals and as a result, the younger generation is obsessed with vanity, self pleasure, and trying to find fulfillment in things that don't matter and are fleeting. If you want to find true fulfillment in this life, follow Jesus. Pray to God through Jesus, read the Bible, join a loving church, and give your whole life to him. Repent of the sin in your life. He can provide more fulfillment than anything else in this world ever could. Much love 💕

This honestly explains why I felt like Susie wasn’t in very many episodes around the time the movies came out. It’s like they were preparing for her departure from Rugrats by having episodes already produced where she’s completely unseen/unmentioned.
I feel mixed on the spinoff, it would’ve been sad for her to leave the group because she already showed up way too little in the show despite her and her family being super intriguing. But on the other hand, her infrequent appearances and dialogue where she kinda started sounding like she was becoming more separate from the babies just made me realize that she may have ALWAYS been destined to have a spinoff, and her getting one would’ve explained all of that. And… if there WAS a spinoff, the original Rugrats characters could easily show up for one thing, so Susie’s departure wouldn’t be sad, and there’s potential for new characters and a new setting which is honestly awesome to include in this universe.
