    The Pilatus has the reputation for ruggedness. I don’t think the Denali will be a major threat.

    The PC12 is a legend. I have over 5,000 hrs in Pilatus products and there is a reason they are at the top of the product surveys year in and year out!
    It will take a miracle for the Denali to out Pilatus the Pilatus, especially with a 1st generation engine

      I am willing to be surprised, but certainly agree with you. I doubt I would even look at this over the PC12 for quite some time. The PT6 is among the biggest reasons, but there is a long list of reasons. The PC12 is so dialed in.
      Glad to see someone attempt to compete though. Good luck to the Denali team.

      The Denali is the Wal-Mart version of the airplane I fly professionally, the awesome Pilatus PC-12NG. Built in Switzerland, not in Wichita. The Swiss did their homework when they built the first one in 1995. I saw that Beech has stopped production of their King Air 90 which has been in continuous production since 1964. Only a fool would buy the twin engine King Air 90 with its two engines to buy fuel for and ovehaul, its tiny cabin, lack of a cargo door, and limited altiude and range compared to the Pilatus. No threat from Beechcraft for the PC-12.

      @@MrSuzuki1187 Oh what a Metropolitan, posh point of view. You certainly have the personality, overwhelming sense of importance and insecurity of the the Swiss well in hand. Bravo.
      Truth is, some of the most important, Historic, Legendary Aircraft in Aviation History were and are built by those ‘Plebians’ in Wichita.
      Beechcraft knows Turboprops, seeing as how they pretty much wrote the book on Turboprops in private hands with their launch of the King Air 60 years ago in 1964.
      The Beechcraft Denali will cut into the PC-12’s market. Just like Daher and the TBM do. Pilatus has certainly taken notice of the competition from Beechcraft.

      @@DriveByShouting I don't think so. The Beechcraft of today is a far cry from the Beechcraft of 60 years ago, when Beechcraft was the gold standard in quality craftsmanship. No doubt, Beechcraft will sell a few of them, but Pilatus will continue to rule.

    Excellent video Dan. Thank you for the look into the Denali, it looks amazing. If only we could win the lottery! 😅 It is nice to see they went with Garmin avionics and including the emergency auto land system. Keep up the excellent work. Safe skies my friend 🇺🇸🛩️

      My Pilatus has Honeywell avionics, the same as the Boeing 757 and 767 I flew for United. No commercial airliner uses Garmin avionics.

    How does the Denali compare to the King Air 260 costwise - in price and cost per hour?

    • @MrSuzuki1187
      @MrSuzuki1187 Před 6 měsíci

      The first thing about this comparison is that the King Air has TWO ENGINES!! That is twice the maintenance and twice the number of engines to feed with fuel. The PT6 engine is so reliable their really is no need for a second engine which is why the Pilatus I fly professionally is putting the hurt on King Air sales. The Pilatus is a King Air 200/250 with only one engine. My plane is the very reason Beech stopped building the King Air 90, with the 250 to follow.

    • @MrSuzuki1187
      @MrSuzuki1187 Před 6 měsíci

      You are correct. Beech has shamelessly copied the Pilatus because being a single engine turboprop, it is killing King Air sales. The PT6 engine is so reliable there is no need for a second engine.

    It's taken YEARS to get the Denali certified..... and now, certification won't be coming until at least September of 2025.

  • @MrSuzuki1187
    @MrSuzuki1187 Před 6 měsíci +1

    I fly the awesome Pilatus PC-12NG professionally, and this single engine turboprop is putting the twin turboprop King Airs out of business. The PT6 engine in my plane is so reliable that buyers are finally asking themselves why do I need that second engine? This Denali is an exact clone of the Pilatus. I guess Beech has finally gotten the message that their King Airs are outdated. The Pilatus is built in Switzerland and the company built the first one in 1995 and it has taken Beech that long to get the message. Beech should be ashamed of the blatant copying of the Pilatus.

  • @jorgedelgado3357
    @jorgedelgado3357 Před 8 měsíci

    The Denali will never be a threat to the PC12. PC12 has better performance numbers and a super reliable engine. Unlike the Denali that is bringing a new engine.

    • @MrSuzuki1187
      @MrSuzuki1187 Před 6 měsíci

      The Pratt & Whitney PT6 engine is the finest turboprop ever built. I have 6,000 hours in PT6 powered airplanes and currently fly the Pilatus PC-12NG professionally. The GE engine does not have the history of reliabuility like the PT6.

  • @6by6by6
    @6by6by6 Před 6 měsíci

    Those fleets flying the pc12 will be a hard sell as everyone is fully trained in their operation and maintenance so the Beech will be looking for new customers and start ups to build sales off of but they will succeed because of the dealer and maintenance infrastructure they have in place around the world.
