88% of voters have already decided who they are going to vote for. No amount of talking about the candidates and issues is going to change their minds. There is maybe 4% of voters who are undecided, but will eventually vote for someone. Unfortunately for Biden, the remaining voters are not enthusiastic about either candidate and aren't going to go to the polls at all this year. Trump will have almost as many votes this year as he did in 2020. Biden is hemorrhaging voters and has no way to regain their enthusiasm for this election. The media outlets are complict...in Donald Trump's ascendancy. Donald Trump=drama=ratings. Further, Democrats pushing Joe Biden out months before the election would be a huge story. Don't try to convince me that the political pundits aren't salivating at the prospect of that. In contrast, Joe Biden having an effective administration and winning re-election would be very boring, i.e., not really what the media outlets would like.
