    That filter isnt even bad, I'd keep it for a spare. Thanks for the vid, we need more CB1100 how to's out here!

    I think it's important to mention that the bottom screw (at the 6 o'clock position) is actually recessed in a metal tube (at least on my 2017). Once you spread the wiring out of the way you have to look inside the tube to find the screw AND the good thing is that screw stays in the cover when you unscrew it so you don't have to worry about dropping or losing it which is not the case for the top 2 screws.

    great vid, you should make a video showing how to clean those crankcase breathers!

      Thanks. I just thought about doing one as the only other video I could find is really dark.

    Thanks for the video! Just about to do this job on my 2014. I really like the color of your CB. I don't think Honda brought the white ones to the US.

    Hey mate! Question, did you notice a difference from this brand to the OEM one? I was looking to get this one since it’s way cheaper in price, but I didn’t want to hurt my bike if there are any negatives with this route.

      Hi, sorry for delayed reply - didn't see your comment. Didn't notice any difference to be honest!

    Great video, could the filter be lightly oiled also? Like on some off road bikes, I’ve got the 14 model black, awesome bikes, here in the states you don’t see them much or I don’t anyway.

      No, oiling the paper element will ruin it.

    How many miles were on it when you changed that?

    • @thomascharnock
      @thomascharnock  Před 3 lety +1

      I think it was about 10k miles. I doubt it had been changed since the bike was new
