Just a couple of tips Jay, I have the same bike. A small plank of wood (say 2 x 6) under the centerstand would raise the bike up enough, you may need to put a bit of weight on the back of the seat, to keep the front wheel off the ground. Also, please for safety, don't let your front tire wear that much. Happy biking bro.
Nice vid Jay. I've had my CB1100 for 6 years and love it! After riding several bikes (Kawasaki, Suzuki, Yamaha)... the CB1100 is my favorite... I'll be riding this one (at least this model!) until I can't ride any longer! And yes, do change your tires before they get that bad! A blowout at high speeds and it's all over. Jay B.
Hey Jay, I'm not sure how to get to plastic caps from the upper handbar riser to be able to take off the handlebars. There isn't much if any clearance to even get an ice pick on the sides of these caps. Any tips? Thanks man, very nice bike the cb1100
Yo Michael! Dang I can’t even remember removing mine or if they even came with those. I see what you’re talking about though. If I had them I left them off, probably for good reason haha. If you plan on discarding them maybe try gluing something to the top of them to pull it off? Good luck! Happy riding!
Hey Flexey! I got the clip-on handlebard by Tarrozi. You can find the link to it in my other "CB1100 Update" Video! It has perfect control, the only thing I added was the Fork Stabilizer to have more stability in the steering. Hope this helps!
