That is so neat you were able to capture the sound of it. I was out hiking, so I didn't feel much but am going to go through my footage.

It happened right as I was finishing up, I stopped recording and immediately had friends reaching out asking if I felt it. So I went back to listen and realized I did catch it

Not sure if you have been to this location. Last time I was on Thunder Swamp I started in the south and went counterclockwise. For starting at 9 am I made great time to the lollipop. I figured I would do the lollipop this time. As you know it's slow moving with overgrowth and water crossings in that area. Right before you hit the loop there is a service road to the right that goes .5 to .75 miles. It leads to a plateau which overlooks Big Bear Swamp. I arrived at dark and set up camp. There might have been 2-3 inches of soil on top of rock, not good for setting up a tent. I had zero protection from the wind and my tent was not set up all that well. Rode out the night listening to the coyotes but froze all night as the wind blew through my flapping rain fly.

Yep... that spot is just above the camp across the bridge on the lollipop. There's a trail that takes you down there. I know when I've camped out that way the wind is always pretty bad, probably because it's the edge of the Pocono Plataea and all the trees they've had to clear because of the Emerald Ash Borers.

In a prior video I asked about mistakes you have made. Any chance of hearing the flip side? I watch Nick Green @PackAndSoul. In his intro to every video, he plays a short, very short compilation; the last scene is him in Baxter State Park on Mount Katahdin. You can see the sense of accomplishment on his face. I'd love to hear backpacking accomplishments where you pushed yourself or where you did something you didn't think you could do. Not only the accomplishment but how you felt afterwards.

I've touched on a couple in some videos but I could put them together for an episode.
