If he paid for the build. Its a business transaction, not a collab. If there was no mention of a shoutout or anything in negotiations...them there was no requirements.
I wouldnt say he did them dirty, his colabs for projects like that are simply for a prop, not a full on guest spot. Donut got paid, AND a shit load of new fans from Jimmys channel, im a fan of both and both won.

The reason why mrbeast only shouts out few creators is because if he were to do so millions of non-car fan would subscribe but never watch the videos causing the algorithm to think their videos are doing poorly

ok behind the back was bit exaggerated sentence but still i am sure that he doesn't force any creator or influencers to come and work for him and he can't do that by the law, let's take a hypothetical situation, Mrbeast told you to build a car that have steering on the back, fun project, he will pay you for that, and + you can make how many video's you want of that project, but because of NDA's (non disclosure agreement) there will be obvious restrictions , but when the video is published you can publish whatever you want who is stopping you from doing so, and because he is already big you'll get views too and you'll get more money from adsence compare to what mrbeast had already paid you for, this is how creator business runs, he can't give credit to every single person who is helping him on something, it's on you if you want credit + ( a bit sweet clout) make a video, that's what whole youtube is doing from day-1 which is not wrong@@Tunermarket
