It's crazy watching videos 3 years ago to current ones. You can tell you just have way more energy and drive to put better content out now in 2022 than you did 3 years ago having to work fulltime and take care of your family and record projects.
Puddin, you don't make a bad video. I appreciate and enjoy anything you crank out. It's just that at age 69, I wish the calendar could all be rolled back 50 years so I could learn from you and do this for a living myself. You do more work by accident than I do on purpose.
Dude the evolution of ur personality is a crazy thing to witness when I can watch like the last 3 years of work in a few days the comfortably on cam n the willingness to let ur true self boil to the top so beautifully keep killing it man ur content gives me hope the future
It's been three years since this very informative video was made. And thank God Puddin has dropped the strictly information format and started entertaining us. If this is the "real" Puddin and his new "self" is only a persona, well, I'll take the persona any day. But I have a feeling he is having a whole lot more fun being himself.
Stay strong. Stay positive. Looking forward to seeing more videos soon my friend. It's looking really good so far. Keep up the great craftsmanship and hard work Puddin. Fab On. Weld On. Keep Making. God bless.
Those floors turned out great.
Keep up the good work, Puddin’! Don’t beat yourself up on the video. We don’t need to see every moment to understand what’s going on. Keep us posted on the gnarly parts, to help other shoebox owners. PS Be smart in the heat, brother.
Thanks man! I appreciate the kind words. I drink about 2 gallons of water a day, I’m used to the heat!
You tube recommended these older ones. I have to say I like the new format better. Thanks for the videos man.
It's really cool to watch these old videos, and see how far you've come!
I’m enjoying looking back at everything
Another great video -- good to see how you address the issues. It looks so shiny! Thanks for sharing. Sharpies Rule!
👊🏻👊🏻👊🏻
Good to see a video about putting floor pans in . I got some good info for next time when it do a set and I'm sure others did too .
Thanks Tad
Heat can be oppressive!
Thanx for sharin!

Looking great, I do not miss that mid west heat! Great job, keep on pannin on!
👊🏻👊🏻👊🏻
Great work as always. Video was top notch like everything you’ve done so far.
On another note, I once dated a girl who had a high hump kit from the factory. 😳
😂😂😂 no after market parts needed.
Ive been checking out some classic Puddin’ videos and they’re all well done. You bust your hump on this one and apologize for the content...looks like you’re having more fun these days! Thanks for the videos sir! You’re a very talented guy....its suppose to be fun...i have to remind myself too!
I burnt myself out hard the last fours years doing serious stuff and not having fun!
Don’t be too hard on yourself, you are working hard to do a good job on your buddy’s car so if you don’t get it all on video I’m sure people won’t mind. We can see the progress you are making and the quality of your work. I am a recent subscriber and am slowly working my way through your videos from the beginning, personally I like the earlier ‘build ‘ type videos but your newer stuff is real entertaining. Keep it up.👍😀
👊🏻👊🏻👊🏻
July 2/21 Hard work from a short haired fella who has gone a long way with his channel here. catching up on Puddin's old youtube videos. You've come a long way.
Yeah. You can tell when I do a job I care about I May get in serious mode lol
Hey, it's so great to see the process from start to finish. thank you so much, I don't know where else I can get the information i needed
Thank you , you don't try and Know all the answers or pretend that everything always runs perfectly, You run in the real world , the one that I do and understand.
I really appreciate your videos , THANK YOU again ,keep up the good work Mate .
Thanks peter! I appreciate the kind words and you’re welcome. Thanks for watching
This floor is looking super good
Nice work. Sometimes these projects can wear you out. Nice job powering through.
👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
Thanks man!
Your videos show how it happens in the real world, no need to apologize, been there brother and feel your pain.
Thanks Carl! It ain’t always easy like TV makes it look! Lol
@@PuddinsFabShop that's why its on CZcams... awesome job
No apology necessary. We’re grateful when you have the energy to show us what’s up, but when it’s hot and tedious, you’re actually doing us a respectful favor with moving ahead. Heck, I’ve been known to fast forward through repetitive portions. You just saved me the guilt of not watching every second of every episode. Thanks for everything. Watching this entire process has been fascinating. Joel.....
It’s a tough balance to figure out! Thanks Joel.
awesome job . keep up the great job i enjoy every bit
Excellent video. I'm considering a rusted shoebox project myself. This is exactly what I was looking for.
Glad these help!
Man I started sweating just watching this video... I gotta give you credit for your patience, man.
Being a one man show has got to be tough... I think you got your point across pretty well so I'm gonna give you props , brother.
Thank you! The humidity is the bad part!
The floor is coming along nicely. Another great video 👍
Thanks man!

Looking good. I need to have my 49 ford floors replaced and it's good to see how it works. Thanks for sharing. No apologize needed!
Thanks Karl!
Great work I'm watching the series
Ha...I feel your pain buddy lol....I went through the same thing plus toes reclaimed from Chris. My left panel wouldn't fit at all and had to have it re-bent.
Part of dealing with these old cars!
Very nice job, definitely thanks for the videos!
Thanks for the support.!
Loving the series of videos bro keep up the good work and your patience in that heat your a better man then I. 👍👍
I appreciate the kind words!
Looking good brother! That was a tough one, looks like you did some awesome work. If it was easy everyone would do it. You are a great inspiration to me. Thank for posting.

You like to build it twice, because you like to build it nice!
Good job mate 👍🏻

Bad ass job, brother! Awesome and informative vids. Thanks for sharing them and stay hydrated! This fuckin heat is nasty!
I drink plenty of water! Thanks for the support!
Slice dice and flapper.😊
Puddin gets floored :)
You look so Serious on this videos!! But your job Is great. I see you from Guadalajara, México. ( Sorry my english) 🤣🤣🤣 when you can send merchandaising to México? Tks Puddin's
I know this video is like two years ago but it’s gonna help me out I hope with my 50 Ford coupe and I know it going too be an Headache in the other pointers let me know
Hey, Puddin, What a difference from the way you do vid's now.
I can use your videos for reference on a 52 Ford I'm starting. They are very well done and a show pitfalls I can expect. When and how do you prep the panels for rust prevention?
I use van sickle tractor paint on areas that can’t be reached before putting the panels in.
🤩🤩🤩
Put burgers in oven, sits at pc, finds an unwatched puddin video, forgets about the burgers.
I fancied egg on toast anyway.
Hi, I be been watching your channel for awhile now. I'm interested in your shoe box project and I noticed how much more serious you are on that series .I see you know what you are doing and not clowning around. like you're two current people.my question is is it better too butt or lap the joints? The way they make the patch panels the car is like a jig saw puzzle. So is that part of the reason for butt welding everything?partly for looks?
More great fabrication
Awesome vid, where can I get that handy tool you used to mock up the floor boards
The clecos?
👍
Thanks so much for doing this vid! Came across this, searching for tips on floor pan work. Going to be starting on my '54 Ford soon, ordering from EMS. Will be looking back on this for motivation! Are the rockers butt welded to the sides of the floor pan as well?
On these there is a lip on the rocker and a lip on the floor if I remember correctly. Drill holes in one of the lips and spot weld them together. That lip is hid under the seal plate when interior is in.
@@PuddinsFabShop thanks will look into it! So everything was butt welded besides where rockers meet the floor? Just concerned about overlapping metals trapping moisture where the spot welds go. Thanks again!
Yep I believe so. Whatever coating that EMS puts on their parts holds up well.
👍👊
🤙🤙🤙🤙
I’m building a 56 Ford Fairlane what’s a good back half I can use for the rear I’m looking to put a 10 tire with a narrow rear and 4link
What all did Chris do to the chassis before you got it?
Everything. All I did was c notch it.
I just started the body work on my shoebox. I have been butt welding the outside body pieces but I didn't think to do that on the floor pieces. I have not got that far yet, just wanted to know if it is ok to overlap weld on the inside pieces where it will not be visible? I am going to soundproof the whole car anyway with Dynamat.
Absolutely butt welding them on the inside is overkill. Over lapping should be just fine just make sure to seam seal it to prevent moisture from getting between them
@@PuddinsFabShop Awesome! Thanks for the advice. Do you have a recommendation for a good seam sealer?
Unfortunately I don’t. I used what the local paint supply had last time I bought some.
Thanks for eventually getting rid of the annoying music... Content is great the new shows are awesome
👊🏻
ADSOME how to do video.Thanks.GBY!
People watch for your personality and nothing else lol can’t make everyone happy
Floor braces for a coupe, sedan, and convertible are all different sizes. To a seller one size fits all models...NOT! OH, floor panels are different too. especially between 49 and 51 model years.f
That makes sense!
sorry my friend thumbs down i hate time laps sped up vids not fun for me
Does welding affect your tattoo's? I weld all the time in a tank top and I always have a sun burn from it.
👍
