Great video. You don't have to remove the dash bulb if you use a certain relay. I put the LED turn signals on mine and ordered an aftermarket relay that allows everything to work as it should. Your bike looks great!
Great video man! I am buying 2020 xr650l in the spring and will be doing most of the mods you did, maybe even a fcr carburetor. Everyone is changing the front sprocket to a fritzco, because the stock setup promotes wear. What do you think about the sprocket setup? Thanks again..👍

I have the same rims on my 2021 xr650l. Mines converted into a Supermoto. Where can I purchase your dual sport tires in case I want to change over and what size are they. I may also copycat your acerbis brush guards and turn signals. You can see my bike on my channel except I haven’t posted a new video with my Yoshimura pipe yet,,I love your bike
when you take off the old tail light assembly, there are 2 screw holes there from the factory for mounting the old assembly. I literally just drilled 2 holes in the license plate, used a 1/4" rubber grommet/washer and thinner metal washer on each hole to bring the plate up off the fender itself, then used allen bolt, not sure of the length maybe inch and a quarter long, then used a lock nut and blue lock tight. been workin out pretty good so far
yes, I've had Dunlop, Michelin and Pirelli. The Bridgestone seem to wear slower then the others. I do have another set of tires, I keep on the stock wheels, they are Pirelli, softer comp, they work amazing in the softer soils, especially when saturated, in Northern wisconsin.
my kids put those on there, so i wouldnt care if you saw no body panels. My daughter did it to match her bike. So if your 6 year old does it, you rock it, reguardless of what some douche on the internet misses the entire purpose of the video...have a nice day. Enjoy the serenity of your flawless perfection.

Got my polisport front fender in today. The wiring harness underneath the headlight is in the way. How do I go about installing it?
you pull it off on one end and run it on top of the fork clamp..i wish i could share a picture on here..id show you

So in order to run the blinkers you have to remove the blinker indicator in the cluster ?

@@branndonmoriarity862 they won't function properly...like stay solid..or turn on left direction and the right one goes on and stays solid.
@@michaeldavis5565 You can use the indicator light on the dash if you run a diode between the stock wiring and the light. Bikemaster sells a good one.

i got them off amazon, i just searched 12volt l.e.d turn signals xr650l. theres quite a variety. Just make sure theyre 12 volt.
