Homeless encampment bill rejected, senators still pushing for solution

The Senate Public Safety Committee has rejected a bipartisan solution to clearing homeless encampments near schools and other 'sensitive' areas. Still, bill writers say they are not taking no for an answer.

California voters need to call their elected officials to let them know what they feel about this bill. This bill shouldn't be decided by a few people in a small committee but be put on the ballot as a proposition, and voted on by all the voters in California.
