I totally agree, she really does need to grow tf up. I've dealt with that too, being scared and all showing cashiers what I personally get, and most times it's a lady but when I do come across a guy they just continue and do their job. I just dont understand this lady, I mean it's not like he was gonna do her shopping, the manager might have gotten a female sales assistant to do it so she doesn't feel.... uhm (grow tf up Karen!!) @[cooler] xVS 1[UNIT] bruhh why do you think doctor's where masks? Why do you think tattoo artists where masks? There is no such law that allows businesses to "refuse service" based on religious preferences. The old wives tale of "no shoes, no shirt, no service" is just a phrase. There is no code of law or authority that allows for this.
It's the exact opposite. Several laws exist that PROHIBIT businesses from discriminatory practice. The penalty for discrimination in CA is $12,000 per occurrence when in violation of the Unruh Civil Rights Act and $35,000 in violation of the hate crimes act.
Do I have the right to rely upon the law? Or are these empty sentences void of meaning?
CA Civil Code 51 prohibits discrimination against religion in places of public accommodation.
Title III Reg 28 CFR §36.104 defines a "public accommodation" as a private business that is engaged in commerce and serving the public. Public accommodations are prohibited from denying entry to patrons based on several protected classes including religion. Private businesses must abide by all state, local and federal laws. No private business may institute a policy that violates the law. Can Costco institute "Fist-Fight Fridays"? Can Walmart institute "Pick-Pocket Tuesdays? Can Sprouts require you to "punch granny in the face" just because it's their store policy? No. Accordingly, no store can deny entry to someone based on their religious beliefs, regardless of any other policy.
Federal law 28 CFR §36.202 prohibits "denial of participation" from any business establishment. §36.202(c) states that unless I have been individually assessed as a "direct threat" you many not exclude me from the SAME and EQUAL services as others

I’m a doctor and I’m seriously asking, what’s a medical condition that requires you not to wear a mask?! If it isn’t a faciomaxillory injury, then ikm out!
In the UK folk are big on anxiety as a reason. Literally thousands and thousands of people go onto stores without masks.......
@@JohnSmith-qq8ok that’s not an excuse. I suffer from pretty moderate to severe anxiety and I wear my mask whenever I go into a store. People are just being lazy dumbasses using that poor excuse to not wear one.
I have a major faciomaxillary injury that required emergency reconstructive surgery. But I grew up in and was born in Vermont so we have barely any gun laws, no mass shootings and everyone wears a mask. We have great doctors, schools, the best EBT and food shelves in the area and the best covid rates in the nation
@@brooklynbound0 Yup anxiety is not a reason to not wear a mask, and to be honest wearing a mask would help them conceal themselves better to experience less anxiety. I also experience social anxiety and I'm pretty bad at communicating face to face.

When these anti-maskers end up in our overwhelmed hospitals with COVID, the first question should be, "did you not wear a mask in public"? If their answer is no, they should be shown the door. Period.
They should have to pay the medical bills of the people they infect, plus pain and suffering, because having Covid-19 sucks!
I've seen so many people that were anti maskers and covid deniers who ended up in the hospital with covid saying how wrong and mistaken they were. Maybe I sound bad, but all I can think is that we all have to pay for our own mistakes and they should not be allowed to be in the hospital. Okay you realized you made a mistake? @@RB-ny5lh Yes and no, both are private properties the big difference between both is one you need permission to enter and the second one the permission ins granted when they had the doors open and they give you the times between you can be there, and in both you need to respect the rules inside the private property, the rules are set by the owner and there is no "limitation" in rules just the laws, that is why you can get trespassed as someone tells you "you are not welcomed here" no matter if the rules is stupid you got trespassed as the time the one/ones in charge tells you to go out. "Open to the public" is the permission to enter the private property BUT this doesn't make the site "public" is in fact a private property that something that a lot of USA citizens fail to understand in the mindset of MUHHHH FREEEDOM!!! thats why is a democratic republic and not a communist one, private property is a fact whatever is a home or a business the big differences is how you can enter in the property.
@@Vadjansama They can refuse biz to anyone they wish unless its a protected group. Last I checked, trump Republicans aren't a special group needing protection from racism or xenophobia.
Why not complain about NO shirt, No service policy?
Periodt
Shouldn't someone with a medical condition avoid taking a risk by going unmasked and be grateful that someone is offering to do the shopping for her?
Oh that guy at gelsons with red shirt is killin it with his dance moves...hahah
The guy cleaning the carts is a legend.
A Unsung hero
He is a very cool guy
He's looking pretty good (ノ◕ヮ◕)ノ*.✧
I saw this comment before I got to that part. Totally agree.
I love him hahahahah
“Why are you happy?😒”
She even has a problem with that.
Some people can’t even stand others being happy and want to spread their angst everywhere
@@1mol831 OMD you nailed it !!!👏👏👏👏
She envious for something she can't have
Because misery loves company
Of course she's a white woman.
Making a fuss because she can. Ridiculous. Shop was polite
"Where are the policies" then 1 minute later she shows the camera where they are 🤦♂️😂
“private stuff” ok...? Were they not going to see these private things when she is at the check out?
Loool so true
What can you buy in a supermarket that's private? And what happens at the checkout? What a maroon!
Some people are just too much
Yeah, maybe she should have tried online shopping instead.
All of her feeble objections were just attempts to control others to her liking. Usually the person who collects the order is different from the person who bags and seals the order who is different from the person who actually rings it up. If she is truly concerned with the payment arrangement there is no way she would ever be able to do online shopping. Also, a lot of curbside pick-up places have cordless terminals where they can do a debit purchase anywhere within about 50' of the store.
Or if all of that fails, pay with cash if allowed.
She was just a silly woman, all upset because she couldn't control others to her wishes. Besides, rare is the city that doesn't have multiple places to shop for your "naughty objects".
Alternate title: Grown-woman doesn't know what "discrimination" means.
Ms. Chin BK Karen
ever seen a more boomer word than "Grown-woman"
I don't think Flattards have enough intelligence to know what discrimination means.
👎🏿
Please give me the definition of discrimination. Because I don't believe you know what it means!
So true just shop online or do curbside pick up and stop arguing about mask 😷
I feel bad for the people whos names are actually Karen.
Entering a privately-owned business is not a “right.”
They seem to not understand the difference between a right and a privilege as it pertains to *them*
Exactly! Well put! Just like driving a car-- it's not a right. Remember these things people.
Yep like I been telling people .
@first last Yes privately owned.
And she accused them infringe her rights while she is the actual ones that infringe the rights of the owner.
“How is that helping if you’re gonna do shopping for me?”
The literal definition of helping people is doing things for them.
You could hear her brain shattering trying to twist the meaning of those simple words and coming up empty.
👎🏿
@ 👎🏿
I want some private things that I don't want you to see, but you seeing them at check out is OK.
Its crazy all you nuts think that it's OK to tell her how to shop.
The laws are on her side!
If she has a breathing problem that is so severe that she can't wear a mask, she shouldn't be out walking around. And if she has a medical condition I would assume she would have some sort of medical doctor's note. Then again, I'm trying to be logical with someone who hasn't used logic in her life.
that cart cleaner is an inspiration for all of us - be positive no matter how negative anyone else is
Man that dude outside is great. He's mocking her in such a creative way.
M Y he sure is ,especially lost his bar tending job and now sanitising shopping carts to get by and handling Karen’s ,he’s a legend
Lmao XD
Speaking as someone who works as a grocery clerk, I have to say he handled the situation like a pro.
He’s a saint
Jelly Bean yes. Just like Bill Gates
"Why are you happy?"
She must be a joy to live with
I think she might be living across the street from me. I exaggerate, but I have an equally unpleasant soul to deal with, who seems to hate a lot of things.
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂🥳🥳🥳🥳
Voicist 😂😂😂😂✌🏻
Vile woman
@@joeomalley2835 you poor thing . I suggest you dance it out like the guy in the video.😂
“Im not gonna do that” so then go tf home….it’s not that hard.
"you want me to give you my private information, my credit card?"... Never heard of online shopping?
This woman is a sociopathic, unable to feel empathy for others, and willing to jeopardize the health of clients and employees.
Hmmmm.... sounds a lot like the occupant of the WH....
I don't know if id go that far. she just seems highly privileged to me and probably has never had anyone talk back to her.
She's mentally unstable. She believes the Eaeth is flat. Let that sink in.
You can just hear the entitlement in her voice.
🤣😂
The peace sign at 1:48 from the dude with the glasses...he's precious.
People like this woman should be ashamed. I am sure she has shopped online or handed her debit/credit card and the list goes on and on.
"why are you happy"
Seems like the lady's sole aim is to destroy peace her flat earth.
XDDDDDDD. 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
She's in that "If I'm not happy then you're not allowed to be happy" tantrum mindset.
That is hilarious, and the Earth is flat..Duh..
By the sound of her voice it was more of a curious "why are you happy" rather than insulting. I would've asked that too if I saw someone dancing while cleaning shopping carts.
@@Novozymandiaz That dude was dancing because of the music playing. You can hear it in the background. It's Michael Jackson's "Rock With You". I'd be out there dancing, too. That makes the day go by faster and more positive.
When Karen finally meets a manager who wouldn't budge for her selfish and misconstrued notions.
Right!
That part! 😂
The guy cleaning the cart was so proffesional and polite that even if he PUNCHED her in the face and told her to F... OFF would stil pass the bar for being a good employee.
So it’s the new breed of ‘em Karens, filming these by themselves.
Man, I wonder how she pays with her "private credit card" when she dines in. They take that card and pay without her hovering over them.
I'm sure she shops online and her card information is taken and stored by a third party company, unknowingly aware of who is privy to it. She can take her 'medical condition' a$$ home without groceries. And leave those pleasant people at Gleason alone. Lol
@Green Eyed Bali BuleOn behalf of Single Cat Ladies (crazy or not) I can tell you your profile is flawed and simply incorrect. I would never refuse to wear a mask to protect others from possible infection or illness. And secondly, I would never act like this "Karen" acted. Furthermore, cat owners are much more intelligent than that and I can assure you this "Karen" has never allowed a feline to cross her threshold.
Not to forget her “private” items would still be seen by the cashier anyways if she were going in her self. If she wants it to be really private, order online...
@@RiderX424 Nope not only would the person who pulls and boxes her order for shipment see her "private" items but all the third party companies that the website shares their data with (for marketing/ads) would as well.
Green Eyed Bali Bule nah she’s probably married/divorced with 2 kids that aren’t allowed to play video games
