- When a scammer connected to my PC, I was able to reverse their connection and discover that they had CCTV. You're going to see the most detailed exposé of a tech support scam ever seen on CZcams. The company were called Faremart.com - A travel agency in Delhi who use their buildings and VOIP telephony to run various scams. They are one of hundreds of scam call centres in India and this one group will make over $3 million per year with scams.

When the female caller said she was watching a movie on her computer when she got the security alert, the scammer asked her: "What were you doing on your computer when this happened?"
English might be their fourth or fifth language after Hindi, Bengali, Marathi, Telugu, Tamil or dozens of others. They might be in a call center that speaks German, Spanish, English.

It's so surreal seeing an entire office floor designated to scamming people. Folks pouring coffee, having lunch, chatting, bored, just doing their ordinary day. But their ordinary day is stealing thousands of dollars from innocent people. The fact that they're actively ruining people's lives is either lost on them or they just don't care.
In many countries with higher population they do these things. It's sort of dysfunctional psychopaths.

There are many people, in both first and second world countries, that are constantly ruining peoples life. Some do it legitimately, these guys are breaking the law. But remember that the workers here didn't choose scamming people because they enjoy it. They put the morale aside because they need money so bad, not because they are cold-blooded liars.
I would absolutely love to learn how to do what "Jim" does. I was in the US military for 8 years doing security and other things, but beating scammers at their own game would be fun.

This is vile, absolutely. But the scammer is making far less than a dollar an hour. Minimum wage for a young *lawyer* is only $1.85 per hour. Most of Trumps supporters wouldn't think twice about stealing a pen from him. This is a heartbreaking crime, but you are a millionaire in comparison.

That would be cool to see the guys reaction but it's actually very dumb. Spying on enemies in wars for example, you literally give away your means of spying, then they will try to find it and fix it. They will take down their cctv, improve their internet security and disappear to another building.
Thats what i was thinking, if you're smart enough you wouldn't tell them that you can see them in real time because its obvious that if you're talking to someone across the world and they can discribe what you're wearing in real time then it must be CCTV camera

Hacking into the cams can be pretty easy if you know where to look. Since he has wireshark I doubt it was a far fitch from figuring out their CCTV ip address. Heck, if you type a certain URL link into google you'll get a bunch of cameras all over the world, normally unsecure.
