I went to a doughnut shop today and paid double the price that I used to pay for such lower quality doughnuts that I got before. When minimum wage went up, what did you think people in the capitalist market were going to do? Throw a party? Celebrate? No! They messed everything up for customers by charging higher prices for worse food. Whoever did this is a jerk.
THIS is what happens when you ask for $20 bucks an hour. Have fun.

My son worked there the day it closed during a work shift. Prayers for all the employees who lost their jobs. It's so heartbreaking!
I doubt they live off prayers, I think they pay rent, food, and bills with money. They need their jobs, food, and shelter. The only way God will let them go back to the way things were is if someone retaliates against the people who did this.
Remember, Newsom is the Democrats newest darling. You think this is bad, wait till Newsom has more power, nationally.
