Really nice job Chad, what a beautiful outcome, personally if you want to knock Chad for showing people how to do restoration projects and how to repair various issues that often present themselves along the way when modifying or restoring a car including painting one then maybe this is not the channel for you.
Unless your comments are constructive and we all can learn from your posts. I find Chad’s sincerity/ honesty and transparency really refreshing, I personally have had friends ripped off by so called restoration specialists and classic car painters, at least Chad is totally upfront with everyone on his channel, Chad I hope you keep going with the segments and your channel, A big thanks to jolene for all the time you are putting into the editing and production of these incredibly informative as well as entertaining videos. 3 minutes in you "tell against" some of the negative comments u got. "We know thats a lie??" excuse me for sayin this, but when Jolene goes around filming, i see a lot of "wawes" after your fingertips sanding, 80 grid scratches would not show directly, it will come later. And u have CRAZY a lot of dust particles , escpecially on the laying surfaces. You say it does not need buffing?
I agree with you about the lowprice gun, its mostly about the one who is holding it.
But in general a "OK" job for a garage with basic tools and "booth"

& A hearty howdy to all of you !! HA !!
I just want to say what a down to earth combination you two are forward thinking positive attitude & direct communication with your own tried & true methods , HA it's all so crazy but with the application of said attributes + a good work ethic you'll have the best shot of success no matter what you choose to do !! I've been on this planet for 60+years & have learned a-lot of things about process & technique from various sources (I'm an artist car whacko) but talent only works if you combine it with elbow grease properly applied !! You've obviously learned this years ago !! Keep charging ahead & Jolene's camera work is superb !!

Great job for your friend. Thank you for showing and sharing your years of experience with us newbies and dispelling the myths and giving people options, not just following like sheep. Don’t be afraid to break the rules, experiment and have a crack and try new stuff, never know what you might learn 😊👍

Darn fine looking paint job, it would look so menacing in all black!

Turned out awesome! Reminds me when in 1979 I did the preparation on the 1972 Vega with the final sanding of 600 grit. Then the Shortt Brothers Autobody of Dartmouth laid down the GM Black with super hardener. 😎👍🇨🇦

My favourite bit of a paint job, after all the prep and painting peeling the masking off to reveal the car is so satisfying.
