Don't think the Serena Williams drug Testing is discrimination. If you're that good, you need to be tested a lot. This way nobody can question your results

What matters here is that the tests are supposedly "random".
So every athlete, regardless of success should be tested equally on average.
Of course random testing has a chance of testing one individual well above average, but I understand why it would raise a bit of suspicion...

Yes and no. I understand that the most fair situation is total random testing and I agree with that. But I don't think it is the best technique. In my view the goal of Testing is to remove unfair competition due to drug use. So it makes more sense to me that the number one in a sport gets tested more than number 150. Especially when they have such an impressive track record (Serena Williams her performance is a bit insane). This id why I don't consider it discrimination, but making sure that heroes stay heroes (we don't want more Lance Armstrongs).
I don't think the fact that she got tested more is a coincidence. We could check this with sratiscal analyses :)

I was still under the impression she was number one. As number 27 the tests can go down a bit.
If she is the only one being tested more, it is indeed wrong. There is a bit too little info to judge if she was targeted more or not. If she is for instance tested 5 times more than the second most tested person, then there is something wrong.
If its a racial thing or discrimination, you have to check other black female players and see if their testing sequence is also higher than others. If that is the case society has to condemn this and raise their voice so this does not happen again. If not it just means they are suspicious of that players results. Life sometimes can be that simple.
