There's no "bygones" rule. Everything which has happened is in the past, that's how time works. Breaking campaign finance regulations is entirely worthy of investigation. He's incapable of being embarassed. The only ridiculous thing here is that the US didn't do their due diligence first, before electing him.

Khalid Ch. I understand your concern. But you have to understand that there are some issues that are specific to the American way of thinking. First, there is some hypocrisy going on there. To cheat on your wife is very big issue. Adultery has destroyed some US valuable politicians careers before. The fact that mr. trump can get away with it seems outreagous to some. And it is, because of his posturing and his bragging. Because by now there is actually very little doubt now that he actually cheated on his wife. But the big issue is that he tried to hide it, and very clumsily. The big issue is that he tried to sell a lie. And it seems to me that for a major portion of the American people, this is the ultimate insult. He thought he could get away with it, in his egotic and narcissist mind, but reality does not work that way. And incidently, he seems to do more more harm than good for the American people, which does aggravate his position. He seems to want to be a world into himself, but nobody can do that. And this is why there are so many questions regarding his previous lies and evasions. Seems healthy enough to me.

The factions claiming to stand against Evil, these days, well, I dare the Christians to remember Babel, and the Muslims to remember that there has been a time for previous religions (it is written) and there might be a time for them to fall, like others. It is not written, but you should understand it anyway, If Jews and christians "had cheated" or failed, but each had his time(written)why after all, should Muslims not fail (they might willingly be missing this point).
