Sorry guys I've been not posting for a week. A lot has happened and this is just a glimpse. My wife will be posting another video here tonight going over what had happened. I appreciate all the positive comments and all the love. Love you guys!!

Hi youtube, this is Jim, Justin's dad again. As you can see Justin has had a rough week. I want to let you know that he hasn't had the transplant yet. He did have a rough week and has been too weak to handle the surgery. However, he has been getting stronger. Today is the first day he has been able to speak because he had either been unconscious or had a ventilator tube down his throat. One of the first things he wanted to do was post a video to all of you. We as his family so appreciate your continued prayers and support. And Justin was really excited that you all are caring and supporting him. Thank you again from all of us.

Hey guys. I just wanted to clarify, the hospital does not yet have a liver for him, but we're more hopeful than ever! Thank you ALL for your continued prayers and support! Our God has continued to be with us and heal Justin. He was in very critical condition for the last week, but in much better shape now. We will keep on praying and Justin will stay strong until they have a liver for him. The team or doctors is very optimistic about his current condition.

Justin, you are one strong man to be going through what you are and still fighting. I can picture exactly what is like for you as I took care of patients just like you in the ICUs. I have taken care of many patients on continuous dialysis, vents, ballon pumps, and tons of drips and some have pulled through. You are one of the ones that seem to have that strength. I will see you in my meditation with that new liver and healed smiling with your family. I am sending you many prayers. Sending you and your whole family love. Praying for the medical staff also to be guided to help you heal.

Do you know if there is any help for people. Who don't have insurance. My partner suffers from non alcoholic liver disease. We are getting the run around on his disability claim.

I'm not sure where you are from... you could always apply for medicaid?
If his disability isnt going through..hire a lawyer. Non money upfront. They will get paid 25% only if you win.
@@bellepepperxx we live in sc yea we was hoping it his disability claim would of went on through. He always had back issues but with the liver cirrhosis being so serious. But nothing has happened yet we did get one of those types of lawyers. But it seems they never do anything. So just hoping somthing well happened so I can get him so medical help. I'll look into the Medicare thanks so much.😁

It would be Medicaid. That's the government help.. for a lach of NOT so better words..Welfare.
Medicare is what he will get if his disability goes through. They go back 1p working years to determine your disability check. And the only kicker you gave to wait I believe a hear or 2 years for insurance to kick in. But some people waited 3 plus years for their disability and had Medicare insurance kicked in right away. Good luck. Keep calling that lawyer.

I think a lot of people have misinterpreted the video. The hospital currently doesn't have a liver for him. But they are very optimistic considering he went downhill but is now doing a little better and off the ventilator.

I hate to see this, my dad had toget a liver transplant, this oct it will be 6 yrs! ❤ its so hard to watch someone you love get sicker everyday! So many factors go into this, it surely was a whirlwind. Im a realistic type of person, i hope and pray he gets this very soon! Hes getting so tired, hes fighting with everything in him!

@@nursegirly3248 His video after this he somehow looks a bit better/stronger. His body isn't done fighting I guess. His heart stopped and they revived him, then on a ventilator for a week and now off it and somehow finding the strength to keep fighting. I hope he can hang on a little longer.

I have had a transplant and it is impossible at the point this man is at to imagine the extent of the recovery that can be experienced after the gift of a new organ, the efforts made to return health to people represent some of the best of humanity, I wish him success in all.
