😂😂😂😂 excellent for what taking a guess on what could be causing the belt to squeal??? A squealing belt could literally be caused by any pulley in the system that it rides on. A real mechanic would do more diagnosis to figure out exactly which pulley is causing the squeal and then replace that component. If this girl just takes guesses on what her problems are then I guarantee she does a whole lot of extra work and spends a whole lot of extra money that she doesn't need to replacing the wrong parts.
So I have a 2015 Toyota Corolla, LE My son who is an enthusiast and kind enough to take this on replaced my alternator for me yesterday yesterday After he replaced it, the motor on my drivers door wasn’t functioning correctly so my window will go down 3/4 of a way and no further and when I hit it it goes up and then immediately comes back down again so I have to inch it Someone suggested that if you charge the battery which he may have done, I wasn’t here to watch it can actually cause panel malfunction But I have a squealing noise periodically that I never had before Now I have a serpentine belt in my trunk. That’s brand new. So it can be replaced but I don’t think he torqued the bolts on the alternator I know he was in a rush He didn’t mark the tensioner bolt, but I tried to line it up with the part that was shiny, making sure it was cranked all the way in And yet I’m still getting Interestingly enough, when he put everything back together and left before I returned, he left the car running originally my check engine light went off, which had been on for quite some time and of course I was throwing codes for all types of things The check engine light went out, but on that same day the check engine light came back on Something is definitely not right and I don’t have money to take the car to Mechanic and make sure that everything is right and if there is some thing that needs to be replaced like a pulley that it will get diagnosed properly Any suggestions?
Bro I love it. ♥️ you replaced everything and now he does that only have a new belt but also doesn’t have to pay twice for a service since you replaced everything that was bad or near death. 😂😂
You can install the serpentine belt wrong on this tundra which will cause a squeak especially upon start up so I would look at the drive belt diagram a couple of times to make sure that it’s routed correctly.
what generation tundra do you recommend? i love the tundra and i’m thinking of getting it as a second car to my celica (just incase it breaks down lol)

Do you have to use the diagram that’s under the hood? Or can u just search it up I’m asking because I got a hood from a junkyard and it’s different engine just wondering if I should save the old diagram?
I've been working as a diesel mechanic for 20 years ( heavy equipment mech before that) never worn a pair of surgical gloves , never laid on a mat and never walked out of work cleaner than I walked in!!!!
Just reciting some old monologue he heard an old timer say once that he committed to memory and mindlessly parrots back to anyone willing to listen or read the ramblings of a madman.
I've worked as a mechanic, and I've done a lot of DIY mechanical work, and I've worn many a pair of latex / nitrile gloves, I've laid on cheap plastic tarps, and I also don't get dirty when I'm just laying on clean tarps or leaning over clean vehicle front-ends. What are you on about?
This fix is right up there with oil and air filter changes. Simple to learn and it’ll save you thousands across your lifetime

Awesome I own a tundra another cause of squealing is belt mis alignment. They have to be aligned evenly on all the pulleys
Awsome! Cant wait to get a shop like that when I move out of CA! Lol
I love that she torques everything
Jajajaja)))))

That's how mines is. Counter clockwise to tighten or to manually adjust pulley tensioner then right to loosen.
