When you put the engine on the engine stand, place the adjustable arms such that center of gravity of the engine is centered on the engine stand's rotating shaft. Never center the engine stand on the crankshaft, youll end up with it topheavy and hard to rotate like in your video. If you adjust the engine so the center of rotation is closer to the cylinder head, the weight will be balanced, the engine wont try to flip upside down, and youll be able to rotate the motor on the stand with one hand.

I didn't even know women could do this. I have never met a woman who could even check her own oil. And I Worked at a College that trained 50% of all new mechanics in Canada, and even then, there were no female students studying atuo mechanics.

The reason there is a major push for electric vehicles is because of this. The freedom to fix your own vehicle, the freedom to drive where and when you want. Can you imagine if these people decide to switch off your car as their electric and say no one can go anywhere because of a bogus lock down.

CAN someone help me!? I have lowering spring and I want to go lower than what they are capable of in the rear. I also have a divorce shock and spring in the rear. Will a adjustable height spring mount make my car go lower by going to the lowest setting by compressing the spring. I have a Bm F30 Xdrive. Can someone confirm me what can I do.

Great job, congratulations. Make sure (so as those interested in seeing what you do understand) you do make it clear when you are speaking about ignition timing or valve timing. I am pretty sure you are speaking about valve timing here. You could have made some comments on how the cams are driven (belt or chain) and how easily seen are the marks to be used for valve timing. I am retired after 40+ years in a car shop (independent or Dealership) never worked with a female mechanic, never even seen one try. Plenty of female Service Advisors. Females seem to do very well in the Service Advisor position.

Excellent- for this one you definitely need the right tools. Ive worked on mang cars- BMWs are still my least favorite
