    Bos also makes a nice exhaust for the GS. there’s also Termignoni and SC Project, but the latter has issues with scorching the rear right turn signal. There is an embarrassment of riches when it comes to exhausts for the GS, but since they all sound like ass, pick the one you like most on looks. I kinda laugh when people harp on the weight on the can when their GS is usually weighed down with shiny luggage and protective armored pieces. Go with the coolest looking one according to your aesthetic tastes

    • @suburbanhobbyist2752
      @suburbanhobbyist2752 Před 4 lety

      So because people put a bunch of extra weight on their GS they shouldn't care what the exhaust weighs? Strange thinking. Yeah, people are going to put lights, panniers etc on their adventure bikes so if weight can be saved somewhere else it is all the more important.

    I have a GS and the stock muffler sounds OK. Quiet when you want it to be (but still audible) and comes alive when you get on the throttle & revs. Perfect. An when on the bike it has a reasonable note & tone.
    I have ridden GS/GSA's with an Akra muffler and the 'noise' novelty soon wears off.
    With the 360 degree firing order of the boxer motor, it will never have a good exhaust note, no matter what muffler is fitted.
