How are you doing guys? Today, in order to celebrate the KINGDOM HEARTS Coded 13th anniversary I bring you the full gameplay of its original demo! This game demo came pre-installed back in the day with all NTT Docomo P-01A devices and I was lucky to get one of them a year ago.
As this is a free demo it can be played from start to finish without any issue, unfortunately for the rest of the game, it couldn't be played even if you own the phone and all the chapters due to some internal DRM. Some time ago I managed to preserve some game chapters with the help of some friends from the japanese KH community and currently I'm still trying to find a phone with the original game executable (not the demo one) or with the Traverse Town demo so we can preserve both. If you know about anyone that could have it and wouldn't mind to sell it, please let me know. You can also share the following twitter post to help with the search if you want:

As for this video, this is the best quality that I was able to get from the phone itself. Sorry that it isn't the best (also the game suffered certain fps drops at some points). I wish this game could be re-released as it is for the Nintendo Switch or Android. It's a pity that the community has to be putting insane efforts in preserving something that they love when for the company it would be something extremely simple to achieve. Please Square Enix, preserve these games. 💙

Honestly, not just Days, it completely recontextualizes 2 and pretty much every other game involving the fucking icecream too!
It's a shame that this game along with V-cast are forgotten in the sands of time with no faithful way to play them today. Like them or not they are a part of the kh mythos and for game preservation sake they shouldn't be forever lost.
I mean, at least V-Cast isn’t canon. And we do have Re:Coded so at least we got something haha. X is the one that is truly gone. We did have Unchained/Union, but that was more a sequel with a slight retelling (for story reasons)
@@johnsargent7706 I don't really care for story reasons, kingdom hearts plays fast and loose with the lore anyways. I care more in terms of lost media and game preservation... But yeah, shame about X.
Well actually, both days and recoded are pretty dead now since they are not playable in the compilation. Only way to do it now is via emulation.
@@aegisxiii2384 but they are both still available either on a ds or an emulator. The same can’t be said for Coded, X, or V-Cast

When you see how the game plays and how old the hardware it was running on is, you can really see it being possible for Missing Link to be an action game.
I really hope they don't just turn it into a blind gacha game. I'm so excited for it. It looks like it has so much potential to be great.

Amen, this is actually seriously impressive! To think this could've played on some flip phones is actually really cool. I remember seeing screenshots of this on a RAZR phone in either KHinsider, Gamestop magazine, or some other gaming magazine when I was a kid!
Also, I didn't expect Sora from ~20 years ago to say "YASSSSSSS!" like someone from today would, lmao 9:37

Okay, if they found the freaking DEMO nintendo DS for "MCDONALDS Employees DS game", Than the Original mobile KH Coded game HAS to be laying around somewhere, and it's only a matter of time before someone shares the full thing online. This is so cool! I'm so impressed by what they were able to do with the limitations.. it looks like it handles better than some DS / GBA games! 😅
The problem is Coded tied itself so hard to KH Mobile, which means it requires KH Mobile's servers... which don't exist anymore.
I'm deceased that this game has better stagger animations than BBS
