Today I'll be showing you how some KH maps look when imported into KH3, the result of my curiosity and seeing how far I was able to go. At first I just imported one or two and I ended up with 13 of them!! Also, I'd like to challenge all of you to say which maps are these and which game they belong to, it may seem easy but no one managed to give a proper correct answer yet. There are maps from EVERY KH game from the first one to Melody of Memory!

It's important that you check out the video initial messages to understand how this was made and the overall purpose. I'm not trying to do "proper" map imports with this video, this was made just for testing, fun and curiosity.

The number 1 KHIII mod I want to see more than anything is for someone to mod in collision for the Arendelle kingdom area that is completely unexplored in KH3. It exists and with glitches you can actually go there (though you will fall through the ground). It’s sad too because it’s actually really pretty and similar to the populated Corona kingdom area.

I was so iritated that Land of Departure and Mysterious Tower weren't real worlds in 3.
It exists in the beta footage though so it got cut :(

@@codyandersen7254 Only the inside of the castle, but you can't go back and access it after you beat the boss. It would be nice to have a world icon and you can visit it after you beat the game. Same with mysterious tower.
I never imagined i'd be seeing rooms from 358, a DS game, running in KH3. This is so amazing.

@@doggoadexx2680 Remake and remaster are different things. The only argument for KH1's HD remaster being a "remake" is that they didn't have the source code anymore and had to build the game from what they could datamine. That's not a remake though. Remake implies they make the game all over again from the ground up, fixing all the jank. Remaster tends to mean they keep all the old-game jank and give it a new coat of paint and maybe include some stuff that couldn't be added in the original. Take Resident Evil 2 (2019), or FFVIIR for example. Those are remakes. FFX and FFVIII got a remaster.

If the khux movie is ran in real time then it could just be exported I mean they data mined the m.o.m. and the black box so it's possible

@@theorycraft7138 Those are just cutscenes rendered in real time. That was the whole point of its existence - to show off KH3's graphical potential for cutscenes.

I am still beyond surprised that they didn't use Treasure Planet in kh3. If not a world, just passing by them on the Gummi ship would've been a great cameo
The first area is Castle Oblivion from KH COM but it looks like closer towards the higher floors in archetecture unless Im just crazy.
The second one looks like Christmas Town from KH2 but more specifically the outside Santa's Workshop.
The third area looks like Neverland from KH BBS but more towards the areas where you need to air slide/dash to move around and the pirate skull cove cave where you got to beat the **** out of Peter Pan as Terra.
The 4th area looks like Traverse Town specifically your first area you get to explore where the heartless attack you again after Destiny Islands.
The fifth area looks like the mirror room from KH 0.2 BBS A Fragmentary Passage
The 6th area looks like the area of The Queens Court from the Alice in Wonderland world from KH1.
The 7th area looks like the lounge room area after missions of The World That Never Was Org. XIII in KH 358/2 Days.
The 8th area within the Org. XIII base is Roxas's Room.
The 9th area took me a minute to realize it but I think that's the top of Notradame and the surrounding area of France from KH:DDD. Riku had to fight a giant bat nightmare up there if I remember correctly as well as Frollo.
The 10th area is the cut area of Jungle Book from KH BBS . Its a throne area if Im seeing this correctly.
The 11th area looks like the Data verse from KH: Re coded. Like the Data World Battles
The 12th area looks like the Town Section of The World that Never Was From KH 358/2 Days specifically the area where Hooded Dual Wielding Roxas is with Deep Dive playing in the background.
The 13th area is of course the Skyscraper from KH2 / 358/2 Days used in trailers, background of Roxas vs Riku, Sora vs Xemnas Phase 1.
The 14th area is the sadly cut ship from Treasure Planet . the world that was completely cut. Such a shame.
The last 15th area is of course The Land of Departure Home of Ven Aqua and Terra.
(For that weary soul who reads all this it took me a good 40 minutes to write this going back and forth thank you for your time)
All correct except #3 which is Neverland from 358/2 days, and #6 which I believe is from re:Coded (but I'm not 100% on that one). Bravo!
@@DocDevious23 ah well that explains it. I've never actually played 358/2 Days fully. I had it on emulator but I couldn't get far without it trying to crash. But I've watched the Cutscene Movie/read Roxas's Journal Entries in the HD Remixes twice. Once on PS3 and then on PS4 about idk year maybe year and a half give or take.
#4 is specifically the second district in case you forgot

I was so disappointed that CO/LOD was not an actual world in KH3. I figured we would explore it after saving Aqua and was curious to see if Sora would experience a feeling of deja vu even though his memory of COM was erased. Nope, Aqua just turned it back as soon as we got there.
Honestly, if I could have just one map from the old games, I would choose End of the World. That was always the most atmospheric and my all-time favorite world from KH1, even more than Hollow Bastion.
I know right the place just made no sense at all a bottomless sky then a ground world thats literally apart it’s like being in a hell dimension of outer space 🌌
funny since Ansem and his heartless legion did that I also like to think the world reflects xehanort messy darkness heart since ansem is the heartless doll tank of that evil old basterds main essences and all and to farther this have you noticed the place right before you fight the thing from Fantasia you noticed as your going down the spiral kinda looks similar in a way to the keyblade battle ground in KH BBS when you first enter it.
I really want to see the entirety of 0.2's realm of darkness in kh3, then have that as a pseudo Riku section.

That's an easy thing to do probably. The Depths of Darkness portion of 0.2 is already in KH3.

I really, really, really cannot stress how much I appreciate that you included maps from absolutely every KH game you could, cut content included, in order to show the insane lengths that can be reached through KH3 modding. (The only exceptions being made for unfortunate, but obvious reasons, such as with X or VCast.) This was remarkable, and it honestly has me more excited for KH3 modding than anything else I've seen about it before, which I didn't even know was possible at this point. Thank you so much for all your continuous, incredible work over the years. Also, I know everybody has something unique that they're especially interested in seeing with this sort of KH3 World/Room modding, and I'm no exception, so I just wanted to share one of my hopes; For the longest time, I've wanted to see what Neverland would look like if its appearance in KH, Days, & BBS were all combined into one seamless world. I honestly wonder if it would be on par with your average KH3 world in terms of size at that point. I must have these answers! Hopefully with this sort of modding now possible in KH3, I will soon enough. Anyway, that's all from this peanut gallery. Keep up the ridiculously good work!
You mention wanting to see a fully-combined Neverland. I remember reading somewhere that they originally wanted to add the full KH1 Hollow Bastion castle in either BBS or KH2 as part of their version of Radiant Garden. Ever since then, I've had a similar desire to see a fully-combined Radiant Garden, like in the days before it fell to the Heartless. I'd love to explore the city as it's falling apart, with routes to Ansem's secret study beneath the Castle, or exploring the main Castle from the main entrance. That was always my favorite world in KH1, and I think the only other version that did it justice was BBS since we got to see the city in it's prime, but even then we never got to see the Castle before Maleficent turned it into a massive death gauntlet designed to keep Keyblade Wielders away. (If you think about it, it was rather brilliant to seal every door with some sort of puzzle or spell specifically to prevent the Keyblade from just opening the doors regardless. Although it would have made her renovations more obvious if we actually saw the Keyblade's power to open any lock beforehand. And no, the two locked chests you're unable to open before Yuffie tells Sora about the whole unlocking bit back in Traverse Town's initial visit don't count.)
@@kurtisharen I wholeheartedly agree. That would be even more awesome. To see a fully explorable Radiant Garden/Hollow Bastion would be amazing regardless of the time frame that representation- uhm... represents. The reasons I mention Neverland above this idea is because that would likely require the creation of new assets and the sort rather than merely reworking ones that already exist, so I feel Neverland would be a bit lighter of a workload as a result. As well as the fact that, let's be honest, we *all* want to see a fully-realized Radiant Garden. That world is hallowed in the KH fandom, and for good reason. So I figured Neverland would be a bit more of a personal want. Not entirely unique, but even still. Honestly, I want a game focusing on Radiant Garden shortly before and as it falls to Darkness in general. That time gap between BBS & KH is ripe with on-screen narrative potential. The trailer for MoM had me so hyped that we might see more of this event, but we only ended up seeing that one scene, which was probably what disappointed me most in MoM. (Not to say MoM itself was a great disappointment, mind you. That game is fun as heck.) Also, that's a unique perspective on the puzzle-like structure of Hollow Bastion in KH. I quite like it, actually, and am now welcoming it into my own headcanon. Haha.

Honestly, I think the DDD worlds would all look amazing since they are the closest in scale to KH3 and don't feel too small with the faster run and movement speed.
TREASURE PLANET would have been the best Disney world in KH hands down. Such a huge missed opportunity. Hopefully we'll see in future KH games!
Amazing! Other areas I’d like to see in KH 3 like this are Destiny Islands (shore), Traverse Town districts 1, 3, and alleyway, the Bizarre Room, and finally, the version of Agrabah used in the Pot Centipede boss fight.

Not in a million years I would have believed it if someone told me that there would be a day where someone could pull entire maps from one game and use them in another. It was really great to watch this!
Honestly if you are able to do with with the Ps4, then I can't wait to see what you'll be able to do with the pc releases, I bet it would be mind blowing!

I imagine they'd try to make it difficult to access the files, though, I'm not a game developer.
@@TheInfectiousCadaver Probably in a year or so, the kingdom heart series will come to the Steam. The Epic games holds the exclusivity contract/license so we have to wait until it expires.

For #12, it was indeed supposed to be based on Treasure Planet, it was supposed to be a Dream Drop Distance world, though it barely had any work on it, less than the Jungle Book World
For #6, you're close, but it's not Chain of Memories. You said that you haven't played Re;Coded, so you wouldn't recognize it. There's a top-down stealth section in that game's version of Wonderland. That's the map that he imported. In the original, you have to sneak past Card Soldiers to get to the next area. Later on, you have to re-traverse the room, but the world is glitched out and the Card Soldiers move too quickly to possibly get past. In Re;Coded, in order to fix glitched worlds, you have to find a portal to a randomly-generated set of rooms like Map #10, complete the challenges inside (things like defeat all enemies without using the Command Deck, or collect all the Emblems in a time limit) and it removes the glitch.
Long story short: Map 06 is a top-down stealth segment from Re;Coded, but with the enemies removed and the normal camera angle.
I believe Map 11 is the version from Melody of Memory.

Some nice places to get would be the forest area in wonderland, space paranoids, castle from the world that never was. Monstro, kh1 hollow bastion, and extended traverse town

Love the days neverland, and are those unimplemented maps? cool! Also I recognized all of the maps, even coded's wonderland (wich is saying a lot since I did not play that one as much as the others, just did the story stuff quickly, enjoyed it a lot and moved on).

Nerverland from days is really cool. Awesome choice. I always love open places like this where you can really go all out with sora's movement and still have a fun time looking for treasure because there are so many ways to hide things in these islands. Just like the Caribbean in kh3.
The fans should call for a KH 1,2,Days,BBS, DDD remake in unreal engine :3

Castle oblivion looks absolutely stunning! Almost makes me want a re-remake of CoM. And the city in the world that never was (even though it still needs some polish) is gorgeus!
